I don't intend on taking sides, I would simply like to insert my own suggestion.
I think it would help Night and Sey a lot if they added to their prospective mods a spot for someone to specifically handle moving and locking finished and old threads. That person can handle checking on why a person isn't posting and/or notifying their account that their month (or so) old thread has been moved and locked for inactivity. That poster, if they wanted to continue in the thread, can then just ask for it to be moved back and unlocked.
Just to take the weight of the simple matters off of the admin's shoulders.

Why would you post this after Freedom just made the point that this behavior made you a passive aggressive troll? It only further backs up his statement and makes you look bad, and honestly lessens any possible point you have in your suggestion. I feel like your just trolling. :c
Also, you have yet to address the main issue with this whole thing, but you have addressed all other issues (even if your answers aren't logical).
Its MEAN SPIRITED. Its just not cool, and I don't think any of the other members on the site here are so bitter about it that they require punishment be laid down on all those who didn't meet their expectations. That's just ignorant.
And I agree with Aereth, as long as no punishment is involved in this idea. |

Its posting a disagreement, Without knowing what you are disagreeing with. If yar wondering what I mean. Your earlier comment about IRL getting in the way? Its in the first post man. Read. Read.
Anyways to get to the point. Mean Spirited. Lets see. Difficulty of just leaving a thread vs leaving it to stagnante. Wouldn't you call that mean spirited? Probably.
I agree with Aerith's point too. So if punishment ain't going to fly. At least add finality to it. Close threads. Archieve them. 0 rewards.

Right, I didn't understand everything you were saying, after rereading, okay, I get your point (although I disagree). I was just getting confused, and did in fact read it, so no need to a be a rude, disrespectful dick about it. Just because someone doesn't agree with your opinion doesn't mean you have to talk down to them. If there is one thing I disagree with, its being disrespectful and ignorant for no apparent reason. People make mistakes, get confused; no need to tear anyone down or Troll.

I'm with Jeri, Tera, and the Boss on this one, but it seems that Levi and I share a similar logic, even if they're polar opposites.
I'm guilty of this crime and I know I shouldn't do it, but if I don't get the inspiration or if I work on it for four hours and my internet crashes, I just don't have the drive to get back to it, y'know?
I'm also very indecisive and forgetful, so sometimes I can't decide which thread to post in or i forget what threads I'm in, but that still doesn't justify my actions...
I'm sorry for all the trouble...
Levi, everyone has bad habits that're hard to break, but with a little help from friends, it ends up becoming a lot easier to break them, that's one of the things friends're for, right?
