APPEARANCE,Amelia is a very ordinary girl. Five feet five, big eyes so brown they border on red and silky soft brown hair so long it falls below her waist. A bright, easy smile revealing pronounced canines and incisors as is typical in many Minish. Her animal traits manifest as a pair of fuzzy brown fox ears and a large, bushy brown fox tail tipped in white. Amy is undeniably adorable, obviously attractive, but a too scrawny to be beautiful.
On closer examination, Amelia has some disturbing scars. Mostly on her arms, some on her legs. Cuts, small burns, bite marks so deep they left scars. Most of her fingers are also stiffer than you‘d expect, and some of them are slightly crooked, as if her fingers and hands have been broken and re-broken repeatedly over a long period.
As for clothing, Amelia is a person of diverse tastes. Fine coats, dresses, cloaks, tunics, slippers, boots, Amelia has all sorts of outfits. She loves diversity. Some examples:

ITEMS,A small notebook marked DAILY DETAILS. Smelling salts.
ABILITIES,Empath: Amelia was born with the ability to feel other people‘s emotions, read their thoughts and even feel with their senses. The only problem is that she was born with it turned up to eleven and left there. She can‘t control it. She can‘t even filter it. In an area around her roughly the size of a small village, Amelia can feel everything that happens to every living thing as if it were happening to her. Step on an ant and she‘ll feel the crunch under your boot and the sudden agony and death of the ant as surely as if she were both you and the ant.
Not only that, but she would feel your intention to kill the ant as surely as if she‘d decided to kill it herself. Or think your thoughts as you try and balance your home budget and step on the ant by accident. So we run into the problem where Amy has just commited premeditated or accidental murder against herself.
Now, the mind is pretty good at surviving. If we were constantly aware of every stimulus affecting us all the time we‘d go crazy. Thankfully we aren‘t. So in an environment with many people, the constant input of every sense, thought and emotion becomes a mish-mash of empathic input that translates into an intense awareness of the environment while still allowing her to separate one person from another. Anything that sticks out of the general crowdsense will overwhelm that, however. Intense emotions or activities will tend to dominate her empathy. This includes sex, drugs, alcohol, pain, happiness, grief, true love, rage, panic and more. Any of these has a chance to completely alter Amy‘s mood to match, seeing as how it is her mood. If you‘re horny, she‘s horny. If you‘re drunk, she‘s drunk. If you‘re high, she‘s high. If you‘re in pain, she‘s in pain. If you‘re happy, sad, in love, angry, frightened or dying, she‘s happy, sad, in love, angry, frightened or dying.
Healer: Amelia is a very powerful healer. With one touch she can eliminate any pain you‘re feeling and heal any minor wounds. Broken bones and larger combat wounds need two posts. Something massive like lethal wounds or the loss of a limb or a caved-in skull can be healed in one post, but Amelia can‘t do diddlysquat for four posts after the fact.

HISTORY,
Once upon a time, a pair of Hyrule‘s social elites were expecting twins. What they got was triplets. They were named Ahri, Aure and Amelia. It soon became apparent that this wasn‘t your normal litter of pups. Ahri? Happy and well-adjusted. Aure? Shifted into his animal form the moment he figured out how and stayed that way. But we‘re not here to talk about them. We‘re here to talk about Amelia.
Amelia wasn‘t your average child. She almost never spoke to anyone, never played with anyone and whenever she could, she‘d hide somewhere deep and dark and soft and warm. The only time you‘d ever see her outside her room, much less outside the house, she would be clinging to one of her parents or siblings, never saying a word. For a very long time it was assumed she was mute, or had some damage in her brain. One night after she‘d turned four, she started screaming and didn‘t stop for days. On the bright side, people didn‘t think she was mute anymore.
After that episode, Amelia started talking. And talking. And talking. And screaming. And crying. And laughing. Sometimes all of those things in the space of ten minutes. Running around, not eating, not drinking, finding things people lost, talking about things she couldn‘t possibly know, talking to herself, becoming completely unable to focus her attention for even a modest amount of time, suffering from wild, unpredictable mood swings without provocation. This continued for years. Healers were brought in, of the mind and the body, and were all stumped. When Amy entered her teens, she started hurting herself. At first, she hit herself. Banged her head against the wall. Kicked the furniture. Over the years, this escalated. She started cutting herself, biting herself, breaking her own fingers.
This peaked when Amelia tried to kill herself when she was fourteen. She was taking a walk by a lake when she started screaming and ran into the lake. She would have drowned if not for Aure, who came out of nowhere and pulled her to safety. Afterwards, she told everyone who would listen: “Aure knows! He knows they’re in my head! Everyone! THEY WON’T LEAVE!”
After that, Amelia started making a serious effort to communicate with her family. With words she had to make up on the spot and ideas she had to turn around and twist a little to make herself understood, she told them about her empathy as best she could, and they brought in a mage to confirm. When the mage ran screaming from the room after taking a look in her head, they had all the evidence they needed.
A passing merchant’s son had trapped and burned a cat alive. Amelia had felt every second of it.
Of course, what followed wasn’t done out of the kindness of her parent’s hearts. Not by any stretch of the imagination. Amelia was cleaned up, given lessons in magic, bought a hundred fancy dresses and everything she could ever want and then followed her parents out into the socialite scene and told very firmly that any more of her “episodes” would not be tolerated.
At night, Amy would whisper all their secrets in her father’s ear.
This went on for years. Where she was once trapped in her own mind, Amy was now trapped doing her parents’ bidding. Living their life every day, forced to play the perfect daughter Ahri was. Her episodes did recur, that much was unavoidable, but even that was used to garner sympathy from their peers. Her empathy was kept secret, and Amy became the poor mad daughter that wanted so hard to fit in that her parents had no choice but to indulge her, and you simply must forgive her for the dress, she insisted on the long sleeves herself, try not to upset her, she can really be quite a terror when she’s upset, by the way how’s your mistress doing these days?
Of course, she didn’t mind terribly. When they were happy, she was happy. That’s how her mind works.
And then her parents retired from the social scene. Ahri was raised to being the face of the family. And Amelia’s job? Exactly the same. On the bright side, Ahri takes better care of her. It was Ahri who got her to write up her Daily Details and keep them around. It was Ahri who revealed Amy’s “secret”, giving out the story that she was psychic, and she started playing the part of a kind of fortuneteller. All things considered, she’s content.
