AGE,24
ALLIANCE,The Gerudo
PERSONALITY,Generally, Nalia is a very fun-loving gerudo with a quick laugh and easy smile. Her whole demeanor seems that of someone constantly amused at the world, and indeed she does seem to be. She takes very little seriously, not even fighting, and treats most things like a game. She does love to tease, however, riling up anyone around her that seems to need a good rousing. The gerudo seems to be constantly full of energy, and can't seem to sit still for more then a few minutes at a time. Indeed, she finds that she gets nervous if she doesn't have anything to do, even if the thing to do is to poke fun at the people around her. She has a good wit, and can come up with various things to be used to describe a person, and she won't use anything that's been used until has been expired. She won't lie, however. Nalia detests liars, and will give any she finds her worse scorn that she can garner.
She can be petty, at times. Nalia likes her things (particularly swords) and she can be a bit of a magpie when it comes to pretty objects. And she is a bit too used to getting her way, so she might throw a small fit if she doesn't get what she wants. Or pout, at least. Though rather quickly enough she will set her sites lower. . . though the thing she wants will never go out of her mind until she has it. She isn't beside stealing, finding it a good way to get what she wants, and indeed she's grown quite adept. And her mean streak is as such that she loves pulling pranks on people, no matter who they are or what they are. And she'll be unrepentant when caught in the act, too, saying that her plan wasn't good she'd just have to make up another one. Serious people bore her, and are the most likely to become victims of her pranks. And, one other thing about her, is an odd little quirk she has. Aspects of her personality can change just by wielding a different sword.
APPEARANCE,Nalia is a fairly tall woman, reaching just over six feet in height. Most of her length is in her limbs, which are almost spider-like in length. And she does look rather skinny. No fat and little feminine curves to speak of. She does have muscle though. Hard, swift muscle that is on display enough that it's clear she means business. She walks with a dancer's gait, and she never seems to waste any motion at all. Her eyes are almond shaped and slightly slanted, and her face is surrounded by shoulder-length locks of deep red hair.
Her skin, as is typical for her race, is a deep nut brown all over. It's a natural color, she didn't need to stay out in the sun to get it, but it does seem a slight shade darker then the rest of the gerudo. It is broken here and there by small, white, scars; evidence of her job and prowess in combat. Her hair, as stated before, is a maroon color that gives tell to her heritage to any who would care to notice, and her golden eyes seem piercing enough, if they weren't always filled with good humor. She does also sport a tattoo on her left shoulder, a tribal phoenix in orange-fade-red ink.
Her outfit is fairly reminisce of the rest of her kin, despite her little contact with groups of more then one other gerudo at a time. Over her legs are some loose trousers of light beige. They're fairly plain, except for some red and blue marks at the waist and cuffs. The marks are geometrical in design, and alternate light red with sky blue. As for the upper part of her body, Nalia has a white shirt that seems a little tight, but she doesn't mind and if it is uncomfortable she doesn't show it. The bottom of the shirt terminates at the bottom of her rib-cage, and the sleeves end just above her elbows. A light-brown leather jerkin follows. It reaches to her waist, and the collar is popped so the edges of those reach underneath her ears. She leaves it open, more then not, leaving the ties hanging free. Over her feet are a pair of close-toed slippers, an odd choice for a fighter. They're dark brown, with a lighter hue around the top and the sole, but they are flat toed as opposed to the curly toed favored by the rest of the gerudo. As a finishing touch Nalia sports a pair of red armbands with gold at the edges.

HISTORY,
Nalia's mother used to have the life of a pirate. Soon enough, however, she grew tired of that life and left, hopping on a boat and traveling across the sea. She made berth in a small island near the edge of hyrule, and there she settled. She picked up a job as a Sword Trainer, and taught all manner of students how to wield the blade. One of the students got a little too close to her, however, and soon enough Nalia was born. Her father left, rather quickly, but Tavia Temmaril didn't hold any grudges. Instead, she brought up her daughter as much as she could. However, she was always busy so Nalia ended up being raised by various 'moms' who volunteered to babysit for days at a time. Despite the mishmash childhood, Nalia was a friendly child, and always found the time to play with other kids. Even if she was a bit competitive.
With her home surrounded by blades of all description, it wasn't long before the girl developed a blade-lust. She begged Tavia to allow her to join with her students, and eventually her mother agreed. So Nalia attended to her studies with gusto, relishing the feel of the practice blade in her hand. She managed to learn most of the styles her mother knew, but that wasn't enough. So she would go out into the town she lived in and hunt down retired and vacationing fighters to teach her how they wielded the blade. The various forms and disciplines were varied, but Nalia quickly and eagerly learned as much of all as she could, surprising all of her tutors.
At the age of twenty, she decided that she needed to leave home. In fact, Tavia had always dryly asked when her fledgling would leave the coop. Seeking to use her knowledge to earn a living, the gerudo managed to snag a job as a bodyguard on a departing ship. She ignored the fact that she'd have to stand still for long periods of time because of the feeling of using her skills felt good. Her knowledge was paying her way through the world, and she vastly enjoyed that fact. When she was done with one ship, she'd petition for another job on another vessel. And soon enough, she'd get one. During one of these stints, her blade broke. She couldn't earn her keep with a broken blade, so she went to get it fixed at the first shop she could find once the airship landed. When she entered the shop, she was surprised by the variety of blades on display. Sure her home was surrounded, but the shop was filled. And she could feel them calling to her, too. Each blade singing a different siren song to the gerudo. Once her own blade was fixed, she reached for the first one and purchased it. Once it was hers, and once she held it for the first time, it changed her. Not on an emotional level, but on a mental level. She found she behaved differently depending on what type of blade she had, and how she got it. Eager to explore her new personality quirk, Nalia began collecting swords, delighting at each new change she received.
