the child all alone
RACE,He knows for sure that he's part Hylian, but he's definitely not full. The other half is unknown, as is the dominant race.

BATTLE ROLE,Really, he's a kid. xD Melee DPS, I suppose.

ALLIANCE,Himself, the people at the orphanage. Also his parents, whoever they are.
PERSONALITY,Aedan is a proud, arrogant boy -- and really, that's all he is. He's still a child, even if he's a bit more mature than most eight-year-olds. He's fiercely protective of those he cares about; namely, pretty much everyone at the orphanage that he grew up in. He's intensely sweet to those he cares about, too -- at least, when he's not (jokingly!) making fun of them. He also has a bit of a temper, although he doesn't show it much. Aedan hates it when anyone brings up his parents -- it's a sensitive topic for him.
On a day to day basis, though, Aedan is a pretty average kid. He loves playing tricks on people and twisting their words around -- in other words, he's a troll in training. He loves games, swordplay, fighting; he also loves the idea of Knights, although he thinks that all the current Knights kind of suck. He throws around swear words like it's nothing, 'cause he's so mature, right. All in all, he's got an easy, confident swagger, and he's damn determined to get what he wants in life.
APPEARANCE,Physique-wise, Aedan's pretty childish; he's short, obviously, standing at about four and a half feet. He weighs only seventy pounds or so, and although he still has baby fat, he loses more and more as he gets older. He has a shaggy mop of dirty blond hair and bright greenish-blue eyes, which look one color or the other, depending on the light.
He dresses simply; he wears the same green sweatshirt day in and day out, over a plain t-shirt and tan cargo pants. He'll generally either go shoeless or wear regular sneakers. He's pretty minimalistic, actually. He doesn't carry any more than he needs to.
WEAPONS,Aedan carries around one small dagger that he... erm, purchased. He did pay for it, but he kind of just stole it and left the money behind.
ITEMS,He has a little backpack that he takes everywhere; in it is food, water, and some money that he saved up over the past couple of years.

HISTORY,
Aedan's short life has been a bit unconventional, but not unhappy. As far as he knows, he was a basket baby -- he was left on the doorstep of the orphanage eight years past, and the place took him in. What actually happened, though, was infinitely more strange: two men, both blond, arrived with the child, and left him there. A rather large sum of money was passed from hand to hand, and it was understood that the matrons were not to tell the boy that this had transpired. The men left, and the boy grew without parents.
He didn't get along overly well with many of the other children; needless to say, he was a troll in training even at five and six years old, and there were only a few kids brave enough to befriend Aedan, abrasive as he was. Starting at age six, he was given a small allowance every two weeks, drawn from the money that the matrons had been bribed with. He was relatively content for a time, but as he grew, he became more and more curious as to who his parents were -- really, the money he was given had to come from somewhere, and he guessed (accurately so) that it came from family. So when he turned eight, he grabbed the money (which he had saved over the years. Really, what was he going to spend it on?) and a backpack, and he left to go find out for himself.
Obviously, he hasn't gotten very far. Mostly he's just kind of wandered around Castle Town asking questions, but most people don't want to hang around and talk to a kid. He'll definitely leave the town -- the province, actually -- in the future, and he's going to find out who his parents were, or are, and why the hell they left him in a damn orphanage.
