APPEARANCE,
Standing roughly five foot six, Anya’s form is slender and rather feminine. She looks as if she could hardly carry a sword on her hip let alone ever draw one. What little muscle she has is toned from training with bows, but is not at all built. Her face is slender and adorned with delicate well-cared-for skin. Her eyes are of a golden shade that are usually traced with black eye shadow. Her raven black hair is usually kept tied back and out of the way, but when it is down hangs wavily just past her shoulders.
Her clothing often leaves little to the imagination. She is very proud of her womanly body and does little to hide it. She makes a point to cover up the most important bits, but for the most part her clothes are fairly open. Although, her legs are typically covered more than anything else by leggings and boots that start low on her hip. She adores jewelry and constantly wears it about her wrist and neck. She also has a fascination with feathers, which is often shown either in her hair or clothing. The cloth she wears is generally composed a dark purple or black. She very rarely deviates from that comfort zone.
WEAPONS,Longbow: A typical longbow she was trained to use as a child.
+ Arrows: Ordinary arrows.
+ Bound Arrows: Ordinary arrows with cloth tightly wrapped about them to catch flame easier.
ITEMS,Coinpurse – hidden amongst her leggings.

ABILITIES,Curse of Agony: By sheer force of will, the caster can set in place a ‘damage over time’ effect in the target’s mind. It starts off slow, then grows exponentially to a blinding pain that makes the target feel like death is inevitable. The specific effects vary depending on the target. They may hallucinate spiders, fire, the sky falling! Whatever it is that may secretly terrify them personally. In Combat: Deals 1 post of light pain, 1 post of moderate, 1 final post of heavy. Cooldown from cast – 4 posts.
Immolate: The caster has the ability to conjure and control flame. In essence, she excites the very molecules of objects and even the air, causing flame. In this manner, she can also simply heat things without actually setting them aflame. For instance, she can boil a moderate amount of water into vapor in a matter of seconds. In Fights: Attacking with flames does moderate damage at first, then continues for two more posts. Cooldown from cast – Five posts.
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Superhuman Speed – For some humans, when their limits are removed, adrenaline kicks in. Their natural instincts are able to make themselves known and give the human a bit more of a boost, allowing them to move and act much faster than normal, possibly to the point of outdoing the usually agile Sheikah
Level 2 - The human's speed is 3 times quicker than the average human being.
Mighty Wind - Humans are incredibly tenacious. Some of them to the point where they absolutely refuse to stay down. This is known as the second wind really. Whenever a human is killed, they may simply ignore their death entirely and get back up. Their wounds are still there, but they are simply ignored and the human keeps going. The only thing that keeps this from kicking in is complete decapitation.
Level 2 - If the human is killed, they will come back, having a moderate amount of strength left. This only works once a thread.
HISTORY,
Anya was raised in an upper class purely human family. They were the uptight sort – always striving and demanding perfection. Their family was expected to be the very best at anything they studied. As a child she was referred to by her first name, Artemis, but as time went on she learned disdain for the name. It was the name of her grandmother on her father’s side. She was a demon of a woman. If she noticed one flaw, she practically disowned you. In general, Anya simply did not get along with anyone in her family. The only people she could stand were her mother and older brother.
At a very young age, Anya showed an affinity for magic. She was, of course, pressured daily to practice using it to perfect her skill. It took the form of fire most of the time, so that was what she focused in. To widen her repertoire of skills, her father also insisted she study archery. They would go well together, he told her. Her brother also pressured her to further her studies of magic. He served as the catalyst to her progression for most of her life. Her father, who she detested, could not motivate her as her brother did. Her brother was closer to her age. He understood her. (Or so she thought.) Being around her brother also seemed to boost her power. He too had magic within him, but it did not form in the way hers did. His magic affected hers and kept them safe. So safe that she could attack him with fire, and he would heal just as fast as it might do him damage, making him the perfect practice dummy.
At the age of eight, on an otherwise ordinary afternoon, her childhood home wound up burning down in tragedy. Her brother, twelve at the time, was instructing her in the yard forcing her to practice her magic. He pushed her beyond her control, causing her to accidentally start a violent fire that swiftly overtook their home. They were home alone with their mother at the time, who was inside reading. Anya tried to make it inside to save their mother, but her brother held her back, keeping her from running into the burning building. By the time their father came home, the house was in ruins and their mother’s body indistinguishable. To this day, she does not look back on the memory with any disdain toward her brother, who had pushed her for vindictive reasons. Reasons she was then and now unaware of.
Their father, wealthy enough to recover from such devastation, got their family back on their feet and in a new home in no time. Unfortunately for him, another tragedy in the blaze of flame was inevitable. This time it meant his own life. Anya had long dealt with her father’s brash pushiness where it concerned her studies, but she could not have done so without her brother standing by her side the whole way. For years he had been telling her how their father was simply trying to use her for her power. Trying to make her strong so that she could make father into something great, rather than aspiring to make his children great for their own good. He enlightened her that their father did not actually care about her. All he ever cared about was mother. Eventually she discovered that her father planned on throwing her brother out. How dare he even think it! It was absurd! She could hardly contain her anger. So, the next that her father decided to scold her harshly for not casting an arrow precisely with perfection, she snapped. She shouted and screamed, which did not seem to faze him in any way except to anger him further until at last he dropped to the ground clutching his head in agony. The curse she had accidentally placed on him might have frightened her more if it had not fascinated her so greatly. The fact that she caused it was just too thrilling. In her anger it was also made too powerful for their father to survive through. He writhed and screamed until he could writhe and scream no more.
When her brother discovered what she had done, he did nothing but praise and support her. Despite Anya’s involvement, it truly did look as if their father died of natural causes. There was no physical proof of foul play. And so, they inherited their father’s property and have lived off of it ever since.
