OKAI, LET'S PARTYYYYYYYY
Namely, upgrading the Eye of God. Add this under the paragraph called Level I for the Eye of God ability.
Reflexive Reversal Level II
A powerful illusion spell that Nightmare uses the Eye of God to enforce. For a very brief moment, Nightmare can tap into the Eye of God to, for the most part, screw with his opponents' reflexes. By very briefly activating it in one instance of power, the light from the eye completely covers the area, blinding anyone in the vicinity for a very, very brief moment of time. And that's all that's necessary. With that flash of light, their brains have already been invaded, whether they covered their eyes or not.
When they look back, they'll notice one small thing; Nightmare isn't where he was when he used it. If he was in front of them, he'll now be behind them. That's what the spell from the Eye of God does; inflicts a powerful illusion that inverts Nightmare's position for a set amount of time. While they are under the effect of this spell, anywhere that they perceive Nightmare, he is in the opposite of. If they see or hear or perceive Nightmare in any manner behind them, he will in actuality be in front of them. If they perceive him to their left, he is actually to their right and vice versa.
The real danger to this is that it destroys the opponent's reflexes. When someone throws a rock at you from your left, you instinctively move to defend your left side. Reflexive Reversal preys on that. Naturally, the opponent will look to their left to see the attack coming, and move to defend the left, when in actuality, the attack is coming from the right, and their actions have left them wide open. Naturally, this is the bane of those who have trained extensively for combat.
This isn't bulletproof however. Aside from an illusion breaker being enough to dispel this, it won't take long for the opponent to figure out that it is an illusion. Once that's done, they can defend against it by overriding their reflexes. This is naturally, very difficult and takes time that one really can't afford to use during a battle, meaning that even once the spell is figured out, their reflexes are greatly slowed while it's active.
Reflexive Reversal is however, still a part of the Eye of God. So if the Eye of God cannot be accessed for any reason, Nightmare cannot use this. If the Eye of God is active when this is used, and its duration ends before this spell's duration, Reflexive Reversal automatically ends. This ability cannot be used if the Eye of God is on cooldown.
Reflexive Reversal lasts for five posts and has a five post cooldown.
