APPEARANCE,Full appearance [ Not wearing all preordained clothing shown in photo ]
Alan's most notable aspect is his blue hair, which shines particularly brightly when revealed to sunlight. Other than that, he has a light but strong body structure, standing at about 5" 7'. His skin is slightly pale, but smooth and fairly healthy. His eyes are the same shade as his hair, but slightly cyan as well. They turn red and maroon when he is in combat, or he is simply under stress. This is caused from the severe injury to his brain and the nerve cords in his iris and pupils.
Alan wears an odd looking device around his head that looks somewhat like earmuffs. However, they actually happen to be signal-receiving satellites that pick up sound and disturbances. A loud static goes off whenever a monster is nearby, and it can be used to tap into a sound source a few miles away, but other than that, it's just decoration.
His normal attire consists of a black sweater, but usually something else on top, like a cloak or an extra coat. He wears a normal pair of plaid pants suspended by a single black belt.
WEAPONS,Being a pacifist, he normally does not have a weapon on him.
However, in combat, he can activate an ability that allows him to construct his own weapon - most of the time, being a crowbar or a long slender pole with a sharpened end. How he conjures this weapon you can see in the Abilities section.
ITEMS,Satelitte - Alan wears an odd looking device around his head that looks somewhat like earmuffs. However, they actually happen to be signal-receiving satellites that pick up sound and disturbances. A loud static goes off whenever a monster is nearby, and it can be used to tap into a sound source a few miles away, but other than that, it's just decoration. It's cord looks slightly like feline ears around the rim of his skull.
Everything else - traveling materials, ruppees, etc.
ABILITIES,
Drives - Slot 1 - As noted, Alan is a huge pacifist, and believes in the power of words more than actions. However, when he is pushed to his limit, he goes into a state of mind that allows him to be comfortable with brawling. These states of minds are called Drives because he is "driven" to fight.
Courage / Determination drive: Not much about him changes - however, being released from his pacifism, he is able to freely move about and unhesitating whilst facing an enemy. Personality wise, he grows much colder and a lot more contemplative, sharper and cautious as well.
Sanity Drive - This occurs when Alan is either pushed beyond physically or mentally beyond his capacity, and his pain turns into a maniacal power. In the duration of this period, he moves faster than he does in Courage Drive. However, he is unable to feel pain or flinch. This is a double-edged sword, as he is then rendered unable to be halted in his constant assaults, but he will be oblivious to any form of danger at all, making him unbelievably reckless.
Personality wise, well, as the name suggests, he appears to have lost his sanity. He probably wouldn't even know his own name if you asked him, but that's okay, because he'd try to cut you before you got the words "what" or "name" out. He laughs a lot when he attacks and speaks in a creepy, unreadable language. His eyes turn blood red when Sanity Drive is activated.
The Calling - Slot 2 - Out of his palm, Alan can pull out any iron construction as long as it is not too big or wide. To "sheath," he simply pushes the summoned iron object/weapon back into his palm. It does not require much effort on his part. The most common weapons he uses doesn't really look like a weapon at all- It's a long, slender, metal pole with a sharpened end and a somewhat gritty handle. It somewhat resembles a spear, but is sometimes used as a very long sword as well. Using this ability, he can also create keys and such, but nothing much larger than a few bricks. ( Those are hard to manipulate too. ) This is marked by a large red circle. He uses this power in both forms, though, in much different styles.RACIAL ABILITIES,
None - they're somewhat incorporated into the regular abilities.
HISTORY,
Alan was one of the unfortunate ones among those newborns. However, he was re-dug up by a friend of the family that claimed that he would raise the child normally, and that he would become a normal, healthy man. Alan was brittle, and slightly weak, but he was a generally good mannered child. Eventually, he was looked upon as more of a blessing than a curse. However late it was, though, disaster struck. Alan was bullied behind the alleyway of one of the middle schools he attended. Eventually, things got rough, and one of them pulled out a knife. Unintentionally, Sanity Drive activated, and the river of blood was unable to stop flowing that day until the very last victim, which was eventually the man who redug him out of his dirt prison as a child.
Alan was unable to live with himself after that, but he trudged his way through Laynaru Provinence, dragging along with him many questions that were rendered unable to be answered. He didn't want any of it. He had a few awkward attempts at suicide, but finding that he just couldn't do it. It was a lot harder than it sounded and looked like. Life is precious - no matter how meaningless it seems, no matter how battered or damaged or belittled it becomes or will become, it is a lit candle that will only go out when the last breeze blows it out.
At around the age of 14-15, Alan was a regular teenage street rat who's home was a traveling tent that moved in various locations across the Laynaru Provenience. He got rupees from little jobs he took about Castle Town, and eventually got a bit of an income. Besides that, he remained a solitary individual. He had gained a reputation for Castle Town's errand boy. He moved with amazing speed and got plenty done in less time.
Eventually, he came across a rumor whilst he was scrubbing stains off a teacup. It was a supposed rumor labeled as "The Searcher." There lived an individual in Hyrule, dead and gone. According to the less reliable stories, it was a goron, whereas he'd gotten close enough to customers to actually hear that it was a Kokiri girl. His curiosity piqued, he spent a few days researching the topic, and eventually decided that he would follow the rumor. It wasn't like he had anything else to do, and eventually, he was caught in the deepest part of the concept, and is currently tracking trails and leads around the Laynaru Providence. The reward? He didn't know.
[ This is a plot that will be expanded on with Terkoiz ]
Despite his bubbly personality, Alan is a dark individual, who, being very kind, still cannot trust himself and cannot trust anyone else.
