Appearance
Leviathan is like most monsters in the fact that it doesn't naturally look human. Leviathan is by base definition Dragon Kin. In that it is a giant serpant with a tendency for going on destructive rampages. Of course its not that these rampages are meant to be malicious ( most of the time) merely that their presence itself tends to cause chaos and destruction on an unpresidented level. Leviathan's true form is that of a huge serpant within the sea, easily larger than most ocean faring vessels.At a length of 60feet. Making it quite the terror within the water. Its body is sleek and streamlined, making it perfect for speedy travel within the water. Whilst this is true its not limited soley to the water. Baring wings on its front side and back, these make it capable of flight.

Whilst in flight its similar in appearance to the more oriental " Naga" style dragon. However theres a reason that Leviathan mostly sticks to the sea. In the air its extremely clumbsy. The up and down movement less a natural reaction to swimming and more with the difficulty it has controlling its naturally lengthy form whilst trying to remain afloat. Perhaps the most distinguishing of Leviathan's features bar its size in this form are its eyes which in legend are described


"By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning"


His eyes in this form are a particularly bright form of yellow/white. Whilst this glow isn't generally noticable during the day, in the dark one might see it and think it a reflection of the moon on the water...right before you are swallowed up.

Human Form
In human form Leviathan appears to be a young man with tanned skin and white hair. Standing at roughly 6'1, he's by no means small. But at the same time not freakishly tall. He's got an athletic build that looks stream lined, not surprisingly if one were to guess they'd say he was probably a distance runner or swimmer. He does have the marks of multiple wounds upon his body, just a few scars here and there. These are parts of his body which he finds difficulty " fitting" into his human shape as opposed to actual battle wounds. However they appear no differently.

A couple of things mark him out as different from the crowd however. If one were to take a look at him, upon first glance they might confuse him for a Gerudo with strange eyes ( Once again, pale blue). However he does not share any of the racial traits of this species bar a similar looking appearance.






Weapons
Whilst not an " offical" weapon. Leviathan's own body is his natural form of offense. Fangs, coiling body and of course his own weight.

Abilities
Leviathan Strength: Stage I

"If you lay a hand on him, you will remember the struggle and never do it again!
Any hope of subduing him is false; the mere sight of him is overpowering.

In and out of his true form. Leviathan is gifted with exteme levels of physical strength. Of course, whilst this strength is more or less equal in both forms. The size of his body at the time determines the ammount of damage he is capable of (ie) A punch in human form might put a hole in a wall, wheras a whip of his body in true form might destroy the wall completely. In human form he's a walking juggernaught thats roughly three times the natural strength of a human being. In serpant form, a true terror of the oceans with both incredible strength, weight and size.
Battle Effect: Due to his enhanced strength. Leviathan is capable of inflicting a greater ammount of physical damage using his fists/ claws/ Fangs. Or in the rare occasion anything that relies of brute physical strength.

Leviathan Strength: Stage II: Rampant Leviathan

Devouring the souls and flesh of the Jul. Leviathan has reached the next stage of Leviathan growth. This stage is known as the Rampant Leviathan. As to evolve further the Leviathan must up his consumption of flesh and soul, which normally results in the Leviathan in question going on a rampage. At this stage of evolution. Leviathan's body has grown even larger. Now reaching a length of seventy feet long.

In proportion to this. his already fearsome strength has grown even more deadly ( x5 strength). In Leviathan form he is now easily capable of ramming through stone, whilst his bite grip is the strongest of all known dragon kind. Translated into his human form. He is now strong enough to rival a high level Goron. Easily capable of breaking bones, his strikes are now similar to those of a war hammer.

Battle Effect: Strikes now deal blunt force damage equivalent to a war hammer. (IE) Will bend armour and unleash concussive force on those wearing the armour. If the person in question weighs less than 200 lbs, there is a high chance of being knocked off their feet. Anything higher than this will experience knock back force ( forced back a few steps).

Torrent Stage I: Call of the Rains
Leviathan as a dragon kin naturally attuned to the water element is capable of great control over it. At the moment, this particular Leviathan is young and hasn't come into his true powers over water. As things stand his ability over it is merely a survival instinct. Whilst out of water Leviathan requires to be constantly damp, much like fish or any sea mammal. With this inital power Leviathan takes moisture from the air and applies it to his skin. Whilst one might not notice this with the naked eye. The air around him always is quite akrid and dry.

In situations where moisture is insufficent. Leviathan is capable of changing the actual weather and causing it to rain. The latter ability of which can only be used once per thread.

Torrent Stage Ii: Source of the Deep
As he has devoured the flesh,blood and the souls of many living creatures. Leviathan's powers have begun to develop in their potiental.. His power over collected water and moisture increases as well. He is now able to change the temp of water at will. However due to this power being in its early stages. It requires some time for it to change temp.Times taken are listed below.

Frost: ( Used with Moisture in air) Instant
Ice: ( Used with larger bodies of water, note due to the laws of physics Ice can only be formed fully on shallow pockets of water, deeper pockets only allow ice to form on the surface ex) rivers, lakes, the sea) 2 turns
Fog: Can form instantaniously due to minimal temp requirements
Boiling Water: 2 turns, again can only be used on smaller pockets of water such as the size of a pond.
Steam: 2 turns.

Lieutenant Slot,Leviathan Physiology: Stage I, Body Fluids
Being typically different from other dragons, Leviathan's share some features. But others differ drastically. For one, a Leviathan's metabolism is far greater than those of a regular dragon, making them grow from egg to full size in less than ten years time. Combine this with the regular life span of a dragon,a high fertility rate, and ravenous hunger. And one begins to understand just why Leviathans are practically extinct. One other distinct difference is in the Leviathan's blood, and breath. A regular dragon will sometimes have a mild resistance to magical power due to their draconian heritige. A Leviathan on the other hand is a creature built to survive in the most hostile enviroment imaginable. The depths of the ocean.

A Leviathan's body chemistry makes it's bodily fluids highly toxic to most other races. Its blood, for the Leviathan, will be naturally regenerative. Regenerating wounds that manage to penetrate its hide slowly( Wounds gained in combat will not regen DURING combat, just between threads natural healing). However, this and its spit ( the Leviathan equivalent of fire breath) is high toxic to other creatures. And exposure to it will cause minor damage to occur over the course of three turns. Its spit, whilst highly viscous. Is also. Highly flammable. Adding to a Leviathan's dangerous presence as a deep sea hunter. Amusingly, like other dragons. This is the one thing that doesn't change between forms.

Like most Dragon Kin, Leviathan is blessed with the natural armour that is his hide. His scales. Which legend paints the picture of this hide making him naturally invulnerable to most weapons, this is not entirely accurate. Whilst it does reduce physical damage like a normal armour would. It doesn't make him untouchable. A strong enough thrust would be enough to penetrate even his hide. However, a true note to the tale is that iron and bronze weapons are actually completely ineffective. This however is likely due to the metals in the craft as opposed to the weapons themselves. One metal being known to bend under strain,and the other to snap. Thankfully however using both types of metal purely in a weapon is something of an inferior craft.

As a natural sea dwelling being. Leviathan can breathe underwater, and move through those very waters swiftly and silently.



History
It is said that long ago, the creatures known to man and mer as Leviathans existed in abundance. They were the true terrors of the deep. Masters of the oceans. The things that made man tremble before the sea. These creatures had fought their way to the top of the food chain and climbed to those heights over the corpses of other monsters of the sea. Krakens, Sea Hydras, and various others that existed in the black azure depths. But the time of the Leviathan would not last forever. Legends depict the end of these creatures in many ways. Some claim that heroes of man hunted them to extinction. Others that it was the godesses themselves who destroyed the Leviathans. Fearing that their hunger might pose too much a threat to childing species.

Whatever the truth of it. The Leviathans entered the sorry state of non existance known as extinction. Soon disappearing from the books of history and into legend. In modern day, man is the lord of the sea. And whilst the mortal races fight with other creatures for this title, they are still dominant over most. But there are things that do not like this presence of dominance. Some that think that man was not meant to rule over the realms of land and sea.

Whether through the hand of a dark god, or some other form of intervention. For surely it was not coincidence. Laying in the depths still submerged. Awakened the dormant egg of the Leviathan. The last of his kind. And true lord of the seas. A mere hatchling he was still larger than most sea faring creatures. Often mistaken for a giant eel as he swam the dark depths and devoured all which came before him. There was but one pulsing thought in him. To eat and grow. What would he do after that? Find a mate, this was the answer. And after three years, he had grown to half his full size. As long as a galley and large enough to sink one. So he began to take down larger prey. Small whales. Sharks. Each one saiting his appetite until finally he began to search for that other thing that echoed in his mind.

A mate.

But none could be found. He swam the seas, and called out in the day and in the night. In that tongue of the sea dragons. But there was no answer but his own echo. A creeping realization. An understanding. Not one to dwell on this, his simple mind thought to what would be next. He returned to his original goal. To eat and grow strong. And within another 2 years. He had reached his full size and strength. As powerful as he was, he began to watch the food he knew now as man. And the beasts of wood and steel that he forced to carry his weak body in the ocean. Leviathan did not understand why man ruled the seas now. And so, to better understand them. He took their form. And walked among them. To this day he still looks for that answer. Periodically returning to land in some vague attempt to understand why his kind were gone.

And why these soft...fleshy air breathing creatures. Were the rulers of his kingdom.
