"Alright, the rules are simple! The first to knock Brouda in the lava pit wins."
One of the many young Goron said, standing within a pit of molten hot lava. In the center, rested a piece of earth; similar to a mini island, and big enough for the Goron to fight upon. This was one of the many secret fighting lava pits the "coming to age" Goron used frequently to train and test their abilities against one another. 89% of the rock eating race here, at this very moment, have been trained by Brouda himself; in the arts of quick and deadly take downs. The Young Goron's stood within the pit and partnered up. Suddenly, hit after hit happened; causing mighty waves of lava pushing from side to side. Colliding rock, and hard stone like skin made erupting sounds; easily heard by any being in the immediate area. But, what being would be so deep within Death Mountain? Brouda, standing on the island watched over the other Goron hitting each other with bone-crushing blows, and perfect take-downs. He couldn't help but smile as his mighty crystal protruding from his body glistened giving his titan like body a mystic and godlike glow.
"We are the finest Goron! Form this point forward. Our race shall breed nothing but pure, proud, and unmovable warriors!"

Dagorn had been investigating the recent injures in the youth for some time now. It was obvious to him that they had been competing in unregulated fights. And as the instructor for the combative arts it was Dagorns job to find all responsible and punish them. Sumo was a sacred art and the combative arts were dangerous in the hands of novices. Dagorn knew the older Gorons knew better to do something so dangerous and foolhardy. It had to be Brodua, Brodua had left training once he felt he "knew"everything and no doubt his arrogance was behind this.
Dagorn stood in the cavern watching the foolish youth risking their lives. They had vigor for sure but you could tell that they were receiving second hand training. More eager to fight than to learn knowledge the youth were not learning the full principles behind each move. This was sheer barbarianism. To see his teaching misused brought out anger in Dagorn that he he had not felt in over half a century. Then he heard Brouda speak and he could not contain himself any longer.
Dagorn Moved into the center of the lava pit and shouted at the top of his lungs "STOP! I do not need to waste my breath letting all of you know what an affront you have committed! You dare go behind the backs of the elders and Lay hands with intent to harm on you brothers! I expect better from our youth! You all have discarded our sacred combat arts, and have disregarded the safety or yourself and others!" Dagorn was not done yet, his anger was boiling hotter than the heart of Deaths Mountain. The Gorons were a peaceful folk, not bloodthirsty savages. "BROUDA! You have best explain yourself before I drag your crystal hide back to the patriarch right this instant!"

Arms crossed, head held high, and with the smile of a proud Warrior. Brouda continued to watch over the Goron as one by one feel into the lava with mighty splash's being created. Training of this caliber no doubt had "negative" results; this being, wounds, sore bodies, and the motivation to sleep more afterwards. But Brouda was no idiot, he made it perfectly clear this training wouldn't be easy, and that most will be pushed past the nature limitations to Goron, but the prideful youths stayed. They wanted to learn even if it meant risking there bodies in the long run. After a few moments, the splashing subsided and the intensity came to a halt. The warriors in training helped each other up, while explaining to the victim what work needs to be done to improve ones skill. The Crystal King looked at his mighty warriors, he had pride in his blood, but even more pride for the young men standing all around him.
"Alright! After a few moments of rest. I'll face you all one by one. Lets se---."
Shouting could be heard in the far off distance, cutting his prideful words short quickly. His eyebrows flattened as he looked in the general direction the powerful voice originated from. Being underground; in a type of cave, made it a little difficult to find the real location do to the long echos. The other Goron also looked in the same direction and couldn't believe there eyes. The Titan smiled as the others gasped and began whispering to one another. The trainer found them. But why was he so far underground? That was the main question that rushed through Brouda's head as he started walking forward, touching the other Goron's shoulders indicating he would handle this little "situation".
"Ah! If it isn't Dagorn! How are you, Brother?!"
The Crystal King shouted with a wide friendly smile as a great deal of canine type teeth shined almost brighter than the crystal poking throughout his entire body. When it came to elders, Brouda respected them with a burning passion; the founders and leaders of a prideful race. It was obvious Dagorn wasn't in the "talking" mood. To find out the trouble maker of all Goron was the cause of hurting his students, and with his own training regiment! That would cause even the calmest of teachers to erupt like Death Mountain itself, but Brouda had quite the way with words. Hopefully this time he could find a way out of this mess. There they were! The words he knew would be spoken from Dagorn. The Patriarch was the very last Goron Brouda wanted to see. So, with a wide smile and crystals glistening, the Titan let out a massive laugh. "No need to involve the Patriarch, Dagoron. What you saw was the result of pure training! Training of the ultimate Goron's! When they leave your sight, they come to me wanting nothing more but to please there teacher, and that's you. They want your power, your skill, your compassion! They want to become just like you, Brother. Why deny them that?[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Dagorn was trying his best to be calm. He was once as arrogant, but not to the degree of Brouda. Dagorn prided himself on putting the well being of his people above everything else and he would not stand for this. Brouda's arrogance was putting Gorons at risk. "BY THE ANCESTORS! What makes you think a child of 16 has any right to train other Gorons in the art of combat unsupervised? I told the other elders that we should have not trained you in the art of combat so early. There is a reason we only Teach the Goron youth Sumo for their first 30 years of their life. ITS BECAUSE OF THIS" Dagorn slammed his fist into the side of the cavern The cavern trembling from the force of the blow. "The Gorons are a peaceful people and there is no need to expedite the training at the risk of ones safety. Unless someone it just trying to show off at the detriment of their peer's." Dagorn's fellow elders had let Baroda's ego go unchecked for to long. His arrogance was a danger for the rest of the tribe. Dagorn wanted to help Brouda but the child was to damn arrogant, to him sparring was about winning not about learning.

The elders, including Dagorn himself believed Brouda to be arrogant, selfish, and hardheaded, but this could be far from the truth. In his eyes every single Goron had the potential to become the best, if not close to it. And it seemed Brouda was the only one in the entire village to see this; other than his own personal trainer, but that's a different story in it's self. The other Goron looked at one another with faces full of worry and regret. Suddenly, the whispers became louder and a few of the Gorons walked over to Dagorn, head held down in shame and dishonor. The Titan watched as more followed in the footsteps of there brothers, in no time at all, half of the Goron that trained with Brouda stood behind Dagorn, while the other half stayed with Brouda with a burning passion for there heritage. Dagorn; the gentlest of all Goron continued to scream with soul shattering effect. His words hit heavy, but didn't faze the young Goron at all, his mighty pride couldn't be penetrated, just like his crystal body.
"Dagorn, you don't seem to understand what I'm about, Brother. I'm for the village! I would never put my Brothers in danger! They know what to expect when training within my ways! I didn't force any Goron, they made the decision themselves."
The Crystal Kings eyebrows flattened as he looked Dagorn in his mighty black eyes. This Goron was no weakling; the perfect example of a Goron at his prime, and Brouda knew a picking a fight with Brouda could go either way; like a flip of a coin. The other Goron sat back and watched as the two well known Goron spoke demonstrating strong signs of leadership, and passion. The Titan slowly turned his head towards the Goron behind him, and with a simple head movement gave quick orders. The group quickly scattered, kicking up a great deal of lava while doing so. Within moments, a circle was made around Brouda and Dagoron. The Crystal King chuckled softly as he took a step forward with a wide smile. He did all this while listening to Dagorn shoot out even more words of wisdom and truth. Suddenly, the circle of Goron turned to one another and began training once again, with phenomenal palm thrusts and arm throws. Brouda threw his massive crystal arms up into the area, he wanted Dagoron to witness training at it's ultimate peek.
"Do you see, Brother! These Goron respect your teachings. Do they attack when the enemy isn't looking? Do they use cheap moves? No! I make sure they respect the enemy, like it's one of his Goron brother's! I was taught the art of sumo wrestling because you all wanted me to set an example, and that's exactly what I'm doing, Dagoron! Don't you see, Brother?"

Dagorn was growing tired of this. It was bad enough that Brouda had broken multiple laws set by the council and the patriarch himself. But worse is that he counted to argue his point instead of admitting fault. He was now exacting orders on more of the youth assuming a position of power not given him by the council. All of this was infuriating, was it not for his years of training himself to be wise and calm in the face of combat and adversity Dagorn would have already made action he would regret. This situation was already getting out of hand very fast if Dagorn did not act soon. " How can you be so naive to think that assuming the right to claim the tile of instructor and put the well being of the youth into your own hands? These Gorons may have chanson to be here on their on volition but they are young and do not know what is best for them, that is why we have elders as trainers. You are setting an example of what not to do. I warn you this continue on this course of action and I assure you there is no turning back. You ignore the art and all you see is combat. I was once like you Brouda, young and arrogant. But I realized that there are more important things than the pride and status! The Goron race has never been to war in its history and for a good reason. We practice Power, Wisdom, Courage, not Pride, Aggression, and Arrogance. You assume I taught you everything but I assure you there are still a few lessons I could teach you and they have nothing to do with fighting."

The training became furious as Brouda and Dagorn continued to speak. The angry, the passion, and the desire to keep the race safe burned hotter than the hottest lava Death Mountain can produce, it also fueled the attacks from the other younger Goron's training around the two. Brouda respected everything Dagorn was saying, for it was true. But as time went on, and even greater threats began accruing upon Death Mountain and the fields below them, the Goron would need to fight sooner or later, Brouda simply wanted to make sure his mighty race would and could survive the soon to come horrors. His ears twitched slightly as he felt every word like a powerful blow from a elite Goron, but he showed no emotion; Brouda kept his raw feelings bottled up. Once Dagorn would finish talking, The Crystal King rose his mighty arm yet again; causing the intense training to come to a eerily halt, while complete silence covered the entire lava pit.
"Brother, I respect you. I respect you as a proud Goron, and as the best instructor but you live in the old Goron way, while time for change is apparent. More monsters have been seen appearing around Death Mountain; same weak creatures, and some new powerful ones. They invade our food source, hurt our people, and haunt our land. I've faced this threat countless times, you have also, along with the other protectors of the village, but what if something happens to us? What if one of these creatures attack one of our brethren while no one is around to protect them? The old ways are here to guide our race to the promised land, but we don't need to follow them guild-line by guild-line. Our race is a peaceful one, no matter how aggressive we can be, our gentle nature overtakes the aggression so War will never happen, this, I promise you, Brother. I don't care what happens to myself once the Elders here about this. I do it for my people, nothing more, nothing less. I have no personal gain in training these fine young warriors. There is nothing else you can teach me, Brother. We are cut from the same rock, bathed in the same lava, we are the same being. It's just our minds are stuck in different time periods. I'm thinking about the future, while you're stuck in the past."

Brouda was not getting the fact that he was risking the safety of his brothers. Dagorn felt that Brouda was lying about his motivation. He was doing this for his pride. Or at least that was a secret reason he would not admit. If he really was so worried about the safety of the tribe he could have gone to Dagorn about it.
" You respect me, yet you lie with your actions. You go behind my back and attempt to pass on my teaching without consulting me or the elders? You claim to hold the safety of the tribe paramount, yet younglings are being injured by your attempt to train them. You are a danger to your people. Tell me what would happen right now if we were to be attacked? All of their strength is depleted and they are injured. We would be at a severe disadvantage than if they had just stuck to being trained by people WITH EXPERIENCE. Not some 16 year old who thinks he's special just because he's faster and stronger than them.
You want to lead but you fail to realize he wise and the eldest are the ones who lead, not whom ever is the best fighter or the most charismatic, of which you are neither. You seriously think that at the pathetic age of 16 you know all? You are not even old enough to be put to work in the mines full time. You are letting your arrogance and bravado put others at risk. The fact you just admit you care nothing about what the elders say shows you are not a true part of our tribe. I would rather be stuck in the past than have my head shoved so far up my own ass I could not see the truth. My name is Dagorn you have no right to call me brother"
Dagorn was being harsh but this was the only way he could see to get brouda to put his ego aside and have some self reflection. If Brouda kept this attitude when he meet which the elders he would dig himself into a hole that he could not get out of. Despite the cruel and harsh words Dagorn was trying to help his pupil though he doubt that is how Brouda would take it.

Brouda talks back to elders, all children do it, but for him to do it continuously it was on heard of, especially for himself. The Other Goron remained completely silent as they watched the two Goron yell there hearts out within the center of the lava pit. Both stood there ground with ultimate pride and determination; neither would move away from this situation no matter what. The Titan slowly crossed his arms up against his powerful bronze chest as he listened to the wise Dagorn speak. Deep down, Brouda himself believed he would lose this argument, but he didn't care for that. Breaking a old Goron out of there habits is almost impossible, so changing Dagorn's outlook upon this situation is out the question, entirely. The next words the wise Goron spoke caused a heavy weight upon the entire area. It even caused a small reaction from Brouda. To say he was " irresponsible" and "reckless" would fit perfectly in this situation. Hell, even Brouda himself believed he was just that. But to say he is a danger to his own people; the people he would instantly die for if the time called upon it. This Hit Brouda hard; harder then anything else within his 16 years upon this Earth. The young Goron slowly closed his eyes as he waited for the elder to finish the little rant. The other Goron looked at Brouda, his hard body showed no sadness, no angry, nor did it show any irritation and the group was amazed by this. Once the words came to a halt, the Titan opened his eyes, while starting a small chuckle, ending up in a eruption of laughter.
"If you wish it upon me, Dagoron. I will no longer call you brother. For I feel that was purely anger guiding your tongue, nothing else. You honestly think I would lie about my actions behind this forbidden training? You know me almost as good as I know myself, I don't lie. And with that being said, Dagoron. What makes you think I'm passing on your teachings? Before I even studied under you, I underwent a different type of 'training' with another Goron who enlightened me on my true abilities. Those are the skills I'm attempting to pass on to the Goron you see before your very eyes, Dagoron. If monsters attacked the village at this very moment, these warriors will pick up arms and fight to the death. The wounds aren't nothing but flesh oriented, there abilities shouldn't suffer from them, but I understand what you're trying to say, Dagoron. I am inexperienced, I am arrogant, and I am reckless. But a danger, is one thing I'm not... Our hearts are in the right place; we want whats best for the race as a whole, short term and long term. We just have different ways of approaching it. My way may not be the safest, but it's the most effective at the moment. These Goron have the choice to stop anytime, I will expect them to speak up if anything comes to there mind."

Dagorn was struck dumfounded by Brouda's laughter. To laugh int the face of ones elder was unheard of and to blatantly disregard orders was something no Goron had ever done before. Brouda was ignorant and was blind to what Dagorn was trying to show him. He would never achieve any rank in the tribe for this alone. Not to mention any action he would take after this.
Brouda was insulting the patriarch and the council of elders by his actions and Dagorn could tell that he would continue them after this talk would end. And if he did he could be exiled a punishment Dagorn wished on none. But there was no other choice, Brouda had admitted that the other Gorons were injured during the illegal training sessions. The fact that he refused to admit fault and argue his point was something that would result in this whole ordeal becoming huge matter. He was committing heresy against the council.
Suddenly Dagorns voice returned to its normal quiet stern tone."Your heart maybe be in the right place but it does not matter if your actions are not. If you were really concerned about the safety of the tribe you should have gone to the elders or me and talked about it. We could have handled the matter. But instead you chose the illegal option. How can you say you are not a danger? You admit to this all being your doing and plan. Tell me If an outsider started something that ended with our people begin hurt what would you do? Don't you see? Intentions aside you have caused harm to fellow Gorons. And there is nothing you can do or say to change that fact. You also admit that you know what you do is unsafe. You willingly risk the safety of your brothers without consulting others. That is why you are a danger. You are a danger because at the age of 16 you think you know more than people who have lived 10 times longer than yourself. We have elders who have witnessed the world when the entire realm was in danger and turmoil, and you think you know better than them. That is why you are dangerous. You are Dangerous because you honestly think you are doing good.... when you are not."
There was no more anger in Dagorn's voice. Just disappointment and hurt. Brouda knew not what he was saying nor the corse he was treading. He was irrevocably wrong in every action he had taken so far and the fact he could not handle or comprehend the fact he had errored made Dagorn worry of what the outcome would be.

It felt "odd" to actually speak about this out loud and so freely like this. Brouda knew coming into this illegal activity the consequences would be dyer; most likely leading into excel from the entire village and his brethren within. That bothered him the most, the thought of losing everything just for the cause to protect it all; a choice no man should have to make... And not alone. The more the thought ran in his head, the more he understood how his actions were wrong, but he truly believed they were harmless and would one day benefit the village in a great way. Releasing a deep sigh of frustration, the Titan couldn't get his view through Dagoron; but this was already expected in some many ways. Big black eyes blinked as Dagoron spoke more words; words that continued to add to excel, but Brouda has passed the point of no return. The training was finally starting to show amazing results; creating a bigger, stronger, and faster Goron. So even himself knew stopping was out of the question. As Dagoron spoke, his words no longer carried weight, they returned to being light and gentle. But the effect remained the exact same, the Titan was faced with a difficult decision. Stop the training and obtain a lesser punishment from the elders, or continue training and suffer the wrath of excel...
"Bro---, I mean Dagron. I take full responsibility for my actions. I knew from the very start I was asking a lot form these warriors, but they proved to me they can handle whatever I throw at them. Would I risk permanent injury to my brethren? Of course not! But that's not the point I'm trying to make. I could've came to you, but I felt like you wouldn't have even considered the idea. But, that was purely my arrogance and pride clouding my judgement. This, I know and take full responsibility for, Dagorn. When did I ever suggest I know more then the great elders, Dagorn? The wisdom they possess is something I can't even comprehend, nor even attempt to. But, I do believe I am doing good. Looking at it from a outsiders view, of course it looks cruel and unacceptable. But if you spent one day in these Goron's shoes; if you felt the hot lava pouring all over your rock body, if you felt the passion each blow carriers, and if you felt the support of all your brothers beside you, opinions are quick to change, Bro---, Dagorn."

Dagorn was stunned. He was making headway but not as much as he would like. Brouda would still keep trying to train the youth no matter what was said to him by Dagorn. The patriarch would have to be summoned for this matter to be settled. There was very little Dagorn would say but he would impart a few more words of wisdom and scolding before going with Brouda to see the patriarch.
"If you risk minor injury you risk permanent injury. Just because it has not happened does not mean that you are not risking it. But that is besides the point. We going to the patriarch to discuss the matter and abide by his judgement. And I will agree and adhere to whatever he says." Dagorn turns and walks off to the chambers of the elders. He did not know who the elders would side with but either way he would agree with what they said. For all he knew they might side with Brouda, seeing as they did seem to favor him. OOC: I got night to appoint someone to rp as the patriarch for us.

In the grand chamber of the Patriarch, the massive figure of Darbus himself stood, his fearsome expression more menacing in the glow of the fire illuminating the chamber. To his left and right were four other Gorons, each unique in appearance, sitting upon stone benches in a semi-circle of the chamber watching the entrance. From the back of Gor Amoto rose small bits of steam, his hunched over figure watching the door with closed eyes. Gor Coron sat cross-legged in his spot, fists resting on his legs as he sat up tall. Gor Ebizo was trembling as always, his frail form the smallest among the Elders and also the oldest. Gor Liggs was also sitting cross-legged, but his hands were smacking a beat against his legs, his dark skin almost blending in with the rock wall behind him.
Darbus looked to see Dagorn walk in, a smile forming on his massive head as he saw a friendly face.
"Brother, what brings you here on this day!" he unintentionally shouted, his booming voice echoing in the chamber. The others leaned away for a second before looking back at the two gorons who walked in, curious what would bring everyone here. Dagoron was clearly a wise Goron, and only being through half a normal Goron's lifespan he knew more than most older Goron, and Brouda respected this, along with his impressive strength. His words continued to hit Brouda with truth and weight, but the young Gorons naïve nature wouldn't allow him to accept the full truth for what it truly was. As Dagoron continued the rant, the Titan slowly turned his crystal head behind him towards the group of waiting Goron. Their breathing heavy from training while some even showed signs of weak bodies and intense pain within their eyes, but each and everyone stood ready to continue on the drop of a dime. The Crystal King caught the last two sentences of what his elder said, they were going to the council. Dagoron thought they should hear about this very important matter. As the elder walked forward, Brouda turned to his loyal and trustworthy students with a great wide smile upon his crystal covered face, his massive body showing great pride in himself, and them for standing their ground like a group of unmovable rocks.
"Alright, Training is over! Go home and get some rest. You all have done a great job today, I couldn't ask for stronger Goron than the ones I'm looking at at this very moment!"
"But what about you, Brouda?!"
"HAHAHA! Don't worry about me, Brothers! I'll be perfectly fine. And remember, one day you'll all come to age and continue proper training. Some might become legendary warriors with their name passed down in history, while others might become instructors. Either way, pass on what was taught within these special pits!""TO HONOR YOURSELF! TO HONOR YOUR ENEMY! TO HONOR YOUR BROTHERS!" "HAHAHA!"Entering the grand Chamber with Dagorn, Brouda held his body up high and proud. Crystal glistening with the flames of the fire behind the four wise elders and Darbus himself. This wouldn't be the first time Brouda found himself within such a magnificent chamber. Growing up, he found himself getting into trouble more than normal, so Darbus would have no choice but to get involved with Brouda's little childhood games, but this time, it was much more serious. At least within the eyes of Dagorn, and Brouda couldn't even guess how Darbus and the four wise elders would even take to this news. He stood a few feet behind the elder as Dagoron got himself ready to tell the Patriarch what he had witnessed a few minutes ago. "Expect the worse, but hope for the best, right?" Dagorn walked into the chambers his faced betraying no hint of emotion. Now was no time to lose his temper. to be brought in front of the council was a very big deal and any slip of the tongue would be remember for times itself. Dagorn felt a bit of anxiety strike him for the first time he could remember. These were the most wise and powerful Gorons in the world and one day it was Dagorn's Goal to become on so that he could keep his people safe and lead them to a new golden age. Dagorn believed that the Gorons could use their legendary smithing skills to enter the world economy with force. But that would be a talk for another time. After a brief pause Dagorn prepared himself for his speech turning to the head of his tribe, the patriarch.
"Elders, I come before you today to address my concerns and complaints with the actions of Brouda. Have been noticing my students and other Goron youth have been showing up to classes and to work at the mines with injuries. Some missing work and class completely. I knew that some one in our tribe was causing injury to them and I decided to investigate. I had strong feeling it was Brouda and my suspicions were soon confirmed. I followed him and found out he was attempting to train the youth without permission or supervision from anyone.
He claims them to be his students. Has admitted to me that they get hurt during training and it is plain to see which ones have been under his self granted leadership by who have marks and injuries. The reason I am filing this complaint is that Brouda caused harm to other Gorons, and has disrespected the council and myself by his willingness to do so in secret. The youth will claim that they did nothing wrong, I would counter that if that was the case they would not have chosen to do so in secret without consulting anyone."
Dagorn awaited the Elders to respond.
