The brows of all present furrowed when they heard what Dagorn had to say, though it was kind of hard to tell on Gor Ebizo. Each of them had their own concerns about this news, but all of them did not approve of these actions Brouda had supposedly been performing. Training other Gorons in secret? Intentionally causing harm to other Gorons for the sake of this? It was not something they were happy to hear, and it was almost a bit hard to believe. Gor Coron wanted to think this was just a bad joke from one brother to another, while Darbus didn't like it either but had to hear both sides of the story.
"Dis is troublin' news, brudda..." Gor Ebizo was the first to speak up.
"Brother, this isn't the way we handle training," Gor Coron chimed in second, giving an annoyed glare towards Brouda.
"That mark, brother, does not mean you can go against the sacred traditions of the Goron people," Gor Liggs spoke in rhythm with the beat he was slapping on his legs. All silenced though as Darbus raised his hands, even the rhythm of Gor Liggs coming to an end.
"Brothers, as much as we do not like what we are hearing, we must know the whole story. Now, brother, why would your fellow Goron, one as true as brother Dagorn, come to us with such words?" Darbus spoke in a calm, but thundering voice, intending to do his duty as Patriarch and judge the situation fairly. He could not simply act on the words of one Goron, even were he one such as Dagorn, whom had been a trusted brother for many years. [/size]

So far thins seems as if they were going well the council were listing to what Dagorn had said and they were taking his accusations and complaints seriously, without being partial between him or Brouda. Then again how could he expect anything less from the council of elders. They were the wisest of the Goron people and without their council matter of the people would be handled by popular opinion and whom ever was the strongest. Somth Dagorn had no doubt Brouda would prefer in most cases.
It was Brouda's turn to speak of his actions. Dagorn would stay silent during this speech unless asked to confirm or deny anything said. Dagorn had said his thought on the matter and it was now up to Brouda to amend for his actions or to argue his point with the elders. Gor was still rhyming and beating on his leg in rhythm.

Facing the five most trusted and legendary Goron, Brouda listened closely to the words Dagoron spoke. Every word the wise Goron spat out was "mostly" true. The young Gorons eyebrows dropped slightly as he just realized, for the first time during this entire day, that Dagoron honestly knew nothing about him. The elder spoke as if Brouda was doing all this secret training out of some type of self-gain. But what is there to gain, other than banishment? This hurt the Goron more than any type of physical wound one can obtain. Dagoron was there for Brouda, and Brouda there for Dagoron. Even though the two clashed about the benefit of the village, and personal morals, Brouda respected and loved Dagoron like he was the Patriarch himself. As the elders words came to a end, Darbus and the elders took in the words for a moment. One at a time, they all spoke truth and wisdom; something the Goron were known for. But Darbus ended this with a simple arm gesture, causing the entire room to fall silent while Brouda readied to defend himself.
"Darbus, Elders, I stand here ready to face full punishment for training without any supervision. Dagoron strongly believes I do this for personal gain, and nothing else... But he couldn't be further from the truth. The approaching evil climbing our home; Death Mountain is coming closer to our doorstep every single day. I see this, you see this, and the young Goron warriors see this... They want to help fight, they want to be important, they want to be strong like you all, but they don't get that from Dagoron. So they came to me, knowing I am in no position to tell any of my brothers no, so the training began. Yes they did get hurt, but wounds heal quickly with proper rest. Dagoron stands before you saying I gave myself the 'leader' position, and that couldn't be further from the truth... They came to me with great fear and blistering angry. There passion for this village, there people is something I can't even put into words... So I took the matter in my own hands. I didn't think about what was going to happen to myself, it's not important for I am only one Goron. But I thought about our future, our children, and our children's children's. I've started something special, something perfect... No, I didn't start it. I unlocked the potential for all the young warriors. They are the ones that started something special, not I. Please, understand what I've done is for our people! I know I've broken rules, and important guidelines. But all I ask is for you to see the fruits of my labor and the love I have for our people before making any decisions..."
