Dagorn's muscles tensed as he readied himself for the match to start. Although this was just a practice match it was important to let the young'n know why he was the go to person when it came to training sumo wrestling. And most importantly there was an outsider watching the match. His plan was simple he knew the young one would come in strong. More than likely the novice would be attempting Oshidashi or oshitaoshi either way he would be trying to move Dagorn out of the ring with strength and thats all Dagorn needed to know. Despite his immense strength Dagorn always favored uwatenage, it favored his experience and gave him an edge over most people who were over confident. The drums finally reached a fevered pitch signaling that the match was about to start once they ended. Dagorn readied himself, the moment the drums stopped the match would begin and his opponent would charge in like a dumb bull. As the pounding of the cerimonial Drums stopped the match began. A predicted his foe charged in trying to pick up Dagorn and carry him out of the ring.....unfortunatly for his advasari thats exactly what agorn expected. In a swift not so so graceful motion he wrapped his hands around his opponents body and rose his leg behind him as his body pivoted, "THUD" in meer seconds he had thrown his opponent to the ground thus winning his match. A smile emerged on his stoney face as he helped his pupil up from the ground. He then walked over to the strangers to ask if they had enjoyed the match.

Wow, what a place. Ruma needed to get outside more. She was amazed by the structure of Goron City. Reminded her of the fortress, built into something else like this. However, she was not here to admire the architecture, she was here for more scrap. There had to be a fair amount of scrap around, and she needed plenty of it if she was going to do the work Merik required of her.
As she came to the center, she noticed there was a fight going on. This didn't faze Ruma, she was Gerudo, and therefore used to seeing fights all the time. However, this was no fight she had seen before. They weren't fighting with weapons, they were throwing each other around like rocks. Which was funny, because they were rocks, more or less.
Apparently she had caught the eye of one of the rocks, because he walked over to her and asked how the match was.
"Seemed kinda short. I'm used to those long battles of attrition. You also really didn't incapacitate your opponent, you just kinda pushed him and then helped him up. How is that going to help you in a fight? You throw a guy to the ground he's just going to get up and stab you." It was obvious Ruma knew next to nothing about sumo and how the gorons viewed it. She only had her Gerudo background to speak for, which was a very different combative style of culture.

Wow, a Gerudo up on the mountain was a rare sight indeed. They are very solitary people and even more seldom do they or anyone in general for that matter visit the Goron people.
Many outsiders were afraid to make the journey up Death Mountain. But those who do took time to enjoy the wonderful hot springs of Dagorn's people....but somehow Dagorn has a suspicion that a Gerudo would not waste time on such frivolous endeavors. Dagoron have heard of females before but they were a rare sigh. His race had none but every other seems to. If the Gerudo was here to enjoy herself, and she did not appreciate the match then Dagoron had not achieved a total victory.
"Welcome stranger! It is an honor and a pleasure to have a member of the mighty Gerudo race come to visit my brothers. Anything I can do to make your stay more enjoyable just ask. Though I must admit I wonder why you are gracing us humble Gorons with you presence"?

(OOC: I don't want to be one of those people who criticizes what you say, but I'm pretty sure the Gorons have females in their ranks, even if we never see them/can't tell the difference.)
Ruma wasn't used to these kinds of pleasantries, and as such she had no idea how to respond to him. She rattled her brain for ways to be polite but all she found were formulas, schematics, and doses of architecture.
"Hello. I just came here to see if you guys had any scrap metal. I'm working on a big building project and I ran out. I know you guys have an extensive mining complex and I thought there was a way I could take some of it off of your hands. I can pay." She pulled out a pouch of rupees, jingling it for the Goron to hear.
"I left a small caravan at the bottom of the mountain. If I could get some help carrying it, that would be appreciated." Or he could just turn her down, which would be unfortunate. This seemed to be the best place to find good metal and metallurgists, though that could probably be handled herself.

Dagorn stared the rupees for awhile thinking about how good they would taste. After all they were gems, and gems always tasted amazing. She didn't state how much she wanted but Dagorn knew that Goron Mines would have more than enough for whatever the stranger wanted. Dagorn started talking as he shifted his body to look for the path to the mine.
"Of course! We always have some spare scrap metal that we are not using. Ore tastes disgusting and we keep hitting veins of it when we look for food. As for transporting the metal I would be more than happy to help you. I know how dangerous it can be for non Goron to try and walk down the mountain, much less with a bunch of scrap metal.
Dagorn racked his brain as he tried to figure out how much metal the stranger wanted. She said a big building project...so maybe 400 pounds. Yeah 400 pounds should be enough, if not Dagorn was sure the stranger would tell him.

Ruma smiled, knowing that she'd get a good haul from the Gorons. Them and the Oocca always seemed to be on top of their games in terms of technology, though the Gorons were evidently the masters of ore. However, as they approached the mines, something didn't add up. She signaled for Dagorn to stop as she looked at him, quite perplexed.
"Hold up for a moment. You mine for your food? What do you eat, rocks?" Despite being correct, Ruma had no idea what Goron culinary tastes were. Dirt was disgusting enough without eating any rocks with it. Then again, Gorons did live in the mountains. There might be a good reason for that besides mining. Perhaps she should have read up on Gorons before the trip. Diplomacy and all. But Ruma would never have thought of such a crazy thing.

Dagorn came to a compete halt as the stranger ordered. The question threw Dagorn off, did he eat rocks... of course he did. Then again if the stranger found the sumo wrestling bland than perhaps she just didn't understand the Goron customs. After all not many stayed in the Goron City for very long. They mostly just visited the hot springs then left. Dagorn turned and looked at the visitor with a smile.
"Yes, we eat rocks and gems. I actually plan on eating the ones you are giving me for the metal provided they taste good. What is it that your people eat?
It suddenly dawned on Dagorn that he had never actualy left death mountain despite his considerable age. Then again Dagorn had not down a lot of anything he just wrested and mined. Perhaps it was time he left and experienced the rest of the world. If the others used those gems as currency then perhaps he could use them to buy a souvenir or two on his journey.

Ruma was surprised. "Oh. So you do eat rocks. That's quite interesting. We typically eat things that are a bit...softer. Meat, bread. Should I then assume that you drink the lava?" Her flippant comment was overshadowed by her awe as she finally saw the entrance to some of the mines. "It's magnificent. We have nothing like this back home." She thought to stay here and work, but then she'd have to move the pipes, and it was easier to take the scrap and ore home and working it there.
"So who do I talk to to get all the metal moved down the mountain? I kinda have to get this back quickly. I have a big project to take care of, and I'm not sure how long I have to do it. I can pay some now, but we have more rupees down at the caravan. Business transactions and all that stuff." She lowered her visor down and sent a quick message through her helmet. Magic communication stones were wonderful things, even better when they were hidden.

Dagorn stared at the gaze of wonder on Ruma's face. She was obviously impressed by the size and craftsmanship of the Goron mines. Dagorn had to admit that he felt pride every time he stepped foot in the mines. He had spent over half a century in these tunnels working for days at a time. It was no small feat of engineering and for an outsider to appreciate the mines was a welcome surprise, as most ignored them for the hot springs. "I can carry the metal down for you. I have been meaning to take a break from mining. To be honest I have never left the upper half of Death Mountian."
A chance to meet more strangers and being a journey to see the strange far off lands? What a blessing from the ancestors this was. If the woman planned to pay him as she had said earlier than he would have funds to go off and see places. With excitement and vigor Dagron Moved to the scrap metal and started crumbling and twisting it into a gain ball so that he could move it all down Death Mountain in one trip. Dagorn turned to his customer with a smile "Is this enough metal?

Ruma grinned softly at his admission of isolation on the mountain. She felt the same way. "It's my first time up here. I've left the desert before, but it's a rare occurrence. She watched as Dagorn twisted and clumped the metal together into a ball that theoretically should not have been possible. But if the Gorons could eat rocks, there was nothing preventing them from having large amounts of strength.
The amount of scrap they had was tremendous. It was a wonder Dagorn could haul it all and accept the pay. Perhaps she stumbled upon the leader or maybe the mine's foreman. Either way she wasn't going to complain, it made things easier for her.
"You can carry it down like it, but we're gonna need to shape it differently for travel. The way it was simply won't work. But let's worry about that once we get down the mountain." She started to work her way out of Death Mountain, Dagorn in tow, glad at her discovery of the day.

Dagorn's biceps bulged and the steel let out a might groan as Dagorn wrapped it around itself one last time to make sure it was all secure. As he weaved the metal he began looping chains to the ball of scrap metal so that he could have something to hang onto. For any other person what he was doing would have been a day long project. Lucky for him though a lifetime in the mines tearing away at the earth, combined with his Goron blood, had given Dagorn the strength to bend bend simple iron with ease a feat that. Dagron was notorious for being a slowpoke in his tribe as he saw no point to being in a rush. He knew he would have to be mindful to keep up with the stranger who moved like she was in a hurry. Or perhaps the Geared are just far quicker than Dagorn's people.
" I can shape it however you want it. Tell me stranger what is the desert like? I assume that is is different than the forrest near by that I sometimes look down upon."
Dagoron began to think to himself. The desert, wouldn't that be a interesting place to visit someday. The heat would not bother him after all he grew up mining next to the lava pits. As for the lack of sustenance Dagoron was sure that there would be plenty of minerals for him to eat as he traveled. The only problem he could foresee is getting lost, and even that would only be only a temporary problem. If he wandered enough he would eventually find someone to give him directions, plus how hard could it be to lose sight of Death Mountain?

Ruma hurried because for a couple of reasons. For one, she was always busy, and had no time to dawdle. Second, she just left a disguised band of Gerudo not far from Kakariko, and the people of the village might not appreciate that.
"Very dry. And sandy. There really isn't much there, just lots of heat and two fortresses, neither of which are particularly accommodating. Not a place that is well-traveled, and for good reason." She knew that his presence at the Gerudo fortress would end poorly, and she assumed a trip to Nightmare's hold would end similarly.
"If you're looking to travel, you'd be better off visiting the forest. You may stick out, but at least you'll be more welcome." It was odd to steer people away from her own place of residence like that, especially someone who had just been so nice to her and helped her out in a big way, but she had to be honest, lest something bad happened to him.

Dagorn turned to the stranger and asked her a question with almost childlike innocence. If its so bad why do you live there? As for the forest I tend to stay away from the small folk, there music makes me dance and I am afraid I might crush one on accident." It was odd for someone to speak so badly of their home to Dagorn. He was proud of his and took any opportunity he could to show the wonders of his people to any guest brave enough to risk ascending Death Mountain. Perhaps he had done something to offend her, or maybe they just did not trust outsiders. Either way Dagorn decided to not test his luck.
Dagorn lifted the 400 pound ball of steel with ease and rested it on his shoulders and back as he hunched over and began walking. Suddenly it dawned on him, the city would be a great place to start his grand adventure. After all surely they would be a cartographer for Dagorn to buy himself a map. In deed he must be favored today.

Ruma adjusted her helmet slightly as the two of them began their walk down the mountain. "It's not an ideal place to live. It's hot, it's dry, it's isolated. We live there because people don't like us. Something about conflict long ago, I'm not a history expert, my sister is better at that stuff. Either way, it's a racial thing. People avoid or even sometimes attack us, so we fortify our home against others and tend to turn away visitors." She shrugged and continued walking. Her nonchalant tone made it sound like no big thing, but she took it very seriously. It made things like a trip to Death Mountain for scrap last for days.
"I don't want to make it sound like I hate living there. My family and friends are all there, and it's a nice home. I just think we can be doing so much better." It must have sounded weird for her to be bashing her own home, but brutal honesty was her way at times.

Dagorn nodded as they walked down to the strangers caravan. The desert sounded more boring the more the visitor talked about it. Maybe the Human cities would prove more interest. Dagorn then decided to stick to his task at hand and started increase his pace. Soon reaching a slow jog the ground cracking beneath his feat as he gained momentum down the mountain. To a non Goron it would look to be little less than a jog, but for Dagorn this was as close to running as he could get. If he were able to roll he would be down the mountain in a matter of minutes. Of course, then he would not be able to carry the metal if he was rolled up in a ball. "Let me know If I am moving to fast!" this was of course a joke as both well knew that the stranger could outrace Dagorn.
