(OOC: If you don't post for three days without a warning, you get a strike. If you get three strikes, you forfeit. If you get two strikes in a row, you forfeit.) As you enter the arena, you are immediately greeted by cheers of spectators. It's a small arena, square, with marble stone. Obviously not meant to match the grandiose nature of the coliseum, but it'll have to do. Around you are rows upon rows of seats, filled with spectators, watching your every move.
Your opponent stood in front of you. The magic barriers that would protect the audience from you two went up. The barrier was a unique thing. It was in fact, powered by the audience, strengthened by the mana each member had, little or small. Not to mention that the thing was blessed by Princess Zelda herself. There pretty much wasn't a force in the world that could shatter this thing, not without godlike power backing it up.
With that under the way, it was time to roll. The announcer brought the attention of the world to you and your opponent.
"And for our first round, we have... Dragonborn Shavir Ma'Raq Zieg versus... Seayn, the Knight!"
Another voice chimed, apparently there were two people, so this fight apparently had some form of commentary. Yay.
"Don't you pronounce it as 'Shane'?"
"No no, you pronounce it like Sean."
"I... what?" [/blockquote] BATTLE TIME, GOOOOOOO!
DRAGONBORN SHAVIR MA'RAQ ZIEG VS KNIGHT SEAYN

Seayn, a worthy opponent in the eyes of any man or dragon. Shavir had no doubt that his foe would push him to the limits, and perhaps kill him in this battle. He seemed to be one who lacked arrogance, and did not overestimate the enemy. Both of them were wise with age, although at first sight Shavir may not of appeared to be so. The fight would hopefully, for the sake of good sportsmanship, be epic beyond belief. A Knight and a Dragon, how cliche'.
Stepping out into the arena and making his way to the center, assuring that he kept out of range with his foe until the match began, Shavir drew his sword upon the words that would unleash the start of the battle. His desert attire hid the true nature of his real form, although with him being a Dreadnought of the Empire and the Arena comment-er yelling out Dragonborn, it was most likely not the most difficult thing to figure out.
"Seayn." He nodded. "A good fight I hope. No crotch shots." He believed they could both agree on that one.

Seayn swagged out on to the field of battle, glaring in annoyance up towards the stand as the announcer's bickered over the pronunciation of his name. Shavir, the dragon. One of the Dreadnoughts of the Ainur, if he wasn't mistaken. He spotted his opponent in front of him, a mildly familiar face. He stopped, close to the edge of the wall. "No crotch shots indeed. Let's have a good fight." The young man drew his sword, advancing towards the center of the arena where his opponent stood.
Seayn stopped, just out of sword range, eyeing his opponent. He held his shield up in a defensive stance. He began to circle Shavir, moving slowly but surely, not intending to attack, only to slightly throw off his opponent's timing when he finally decided to attack, something the young knight hoped to exploit.

Shavir circled with Seayn, keeping pace with every step he took. They were both in range to lunge at one another, however the Dragon did not intend on opening his defenses so easily. With his sword pointed directly at Seayn, he pulled back slightly, prepared to counter his opponent if needed. Inhaling, he relented his Firebreath directly at Seayn.
As he did, he remained in position with his eyes open. A flurry of red flames shot forth, ready to engulf any target that stood in its way. Shavir doubted that this Knight would not defend the attack however, he knew better than that, so he remained prepared to sidestep any attack that came his way.

Seayn had expected a physical assault. A lunge with a sword, a feint with his weapon, maybe even a simple dash forward. The young knight might even had expected a small ranged attack with a small throwing weapon, anything that was a small attack. This man was not a man though, he was a dragon. They rarely did the conventional thing, let alone the expected thing. The Dragonborn shot a blast of fire at him, smoldering embers blasting out him in a dangerous flash. The Knight lifted his shield in front of his face, depending upon the metal armor to deflect the brunt of the fiery attack. It didn't mean that he didn't feel any pain but he did manage keep the majority of the flames from his flesh. He moderately felt as if he was being cooked in his armor though.
Seayn did not retreat from it though, he decided to try something a bit unconventional himself. He dashed forward, lowering his shield slightly to allow a small amount of vision. He jerked slightly yet pushed through it, attempting to knock aside Shavir's sword with Excalipur. This would hopefully leave him open to a powerful swing from his Hylian Shield, meant to bash his quite warm shield against his opponent, with all of his momentum behind the bash. The deflection of the sword was just something that he hoped to manage.

As soon as the Knight charged forth, it completely surprised him. Having not expected such an audacious move, there was only one thing he could resort to. With his free hand, he immediately charged Demonic Pulse. As the fire stopped, and his foe shifted the sword to swipe Shavir's out of the way, there was nothing he could do.
His sword now pushed to the side, the shield was coming directly at him, and he used his free hand to slam his fist directly into it. Luckily for Shavir he had the protection of his natural strength, natural defense, and the force of his Demonic Pulse clashing with the shield. The energy exploded forth, and hopefully enough to send his foe stumbling back a few steps. Because the explosion was a fully directed foreword, the Shield only did minor damage to his arm, making it somewhat sore.
He did not hesitate however to attempt to set up a counter on his foe. After sliding back a few inches from the whole clash, he pulled his sword back and stepped to the side, attempting to set up for a well aimed slash to the man's throat. If push came to shove, he would simply enlighten his foe with his Dragon Form.

Seayn made it through the fire decently yet it appeared that his opponent had more than a single powerful attack. A fist came towards him, hardly the most intimidating thing yet it was covered in a swirling aura of red and white energy. He continued with his attack before his shield connected with the fist. He heard a crack, wondering if he had broken Shavir's fist with a charging shield bash. That was only when he felt his momentum being completely counteracted by the dragon's attack. It wasn't the other man's bone that was cracking, it was his shield. The exterior of his shield had been of metal, which had crumpled easily before the attack, only to splinter the wooden part of the shield. He stumbled a few feet backwards, wondering how much damage he had taken.
Seayn held up his partially smooshed the armor around his forearm, making it mildly uncomfortable for the knight. He frowned at it before turning his attention back towards Shavir. The Dragonborn warrior was already preparing his next attack, his sword up and aimed at what seemed to be a vital spot on his body. He should have worn a helmet and a gorget to deflect any attacks on his head or throat. Seayn took a few steps back as he shook the remains of his shield on to the ground.
"Well, I hope that's all of the surprises that you have left for me. Some insane destructive punch and fiery breath." Seayn spoke, Excalipur held pointed downwards in a manner that would make it nearly impossible to deflect an attack or slip an attack through his opponent's defenses. He stared confidently at Shavir, before dashing back in towards his opponent. His hand was ready to block the attack towards his unprotected spots. If the shamshir came in towards him, he would attempt to grab it with his already damaged gauntlet. He would also bring Excalipur to hilt bash his opponent.

[ooc: Sorry for the wait, had to drive to Kentucky for work.]
His opponent was quick in his own reactions. Strong, and heavily defended. Shavir did not plan on allowing himself to become injured so quickly, but his actions were already set in motion. Swinging his sword down, Seayn's actions were well planned out, and bested Shavir. As his sword was caught by Seayn's damages gauntlet, Shavir watched the attempted hilt bash.
Moving quickly, he hoped for the Shamshir to deal some additional damage to his foe. Letting go of the grip of his sword, he slid his hand down and placed his palm on the pommel of the blade, shoving it up with all his force. He hoped the blade would cut through the gauntlet at least, but he was not sure how strong the armor was. As he did this the hilt bash that Seayn was throwing at his succeeded, and nailed Shavir directly on the cheekbone. Stumbling back, his natural bodily defenses held him together, but his vision blurred slightly.
Now unarmed, he moved back, putting some range between the two. He didn't need weaponry, his true form was his weapon.

Seayn could only wonder how battle experienced his opponent was. The young knight had managed to clamp his gauntlet on to the sword, a painful experience from the start. He grimaced grunting with pain as the blade smashed into the jointed armor, keeping it from slicing through his hand but not keeping it from slicing into it. Ideally the weapon would have been sliding off of his shield but he hadn't planned upon it being put out of commission by a powerful attack from his opponent like it had been. Yet, far from panicking by such a bold move, Shavir calmly moved his hand, forcing it farther into his grip. The weapon sliced even deeper into his flesh. The young knight's vision flashed, causing him to flinch a bit as his hilt bash connected, reducing the damage it might have caused yet it seemed to have been useful regardless.
Seayn was doubtful of his ability to bludgeon his opponent into submission yet it seemed to be working decently at the moment. He grimaced down at his hand, which was rebelling against his orders to keep hold of the blade yet he did manage it... at least long enough to toss it to Shavir. He put his sword up again, this time in a much more defensive position than normally. He would have normally put both of his hands on Excalipur to make it look as if he was coming in strong yet with his left hand injured as it was, he feared that would only make his bluff plain. "You don't think I would fight a foe with no weapon, do you?" Seayn said with a reproachful look on his face, as if it should have been obvious that his view upon honor wouldn't allow him to do so.

Shavir stepped back, still somewhat confused from the bash to his face. It was painful, but he had recovered from it mostly. As the sword slid back to him, he chuckled slightly. "I don't need weaponry to kill, but the honor is appreciated." He picked the sword up quickly, trusting Seayn to not attack him as he did. Even so, he kept his eyes up on him prepared to turn at any moment in defense.
Spinning the sword a few times, he eyes his opponents position for any weaknesses. He scored a fancy shot on the Knights hand, but it came with a price. His head was still woozy from the move, so he took a few steps back, taking a defensive stance with one foot forth, and his blade arm behind his body, with the blade pointed at his enemy over the head. Leaning to his right, he was prepared to dodge and roll, then counter any possible attack.
"Your defense is impressive. I've not fought a foe of such in endurance before in my life."

Seayn watched his opponent picked up his sword, flourishing with it a few times. His prowess with the blade was surely quite great although the young knight didn't know many blade masters so he supposed that was a guess at the other man's skill at best. "I have no doubt that you're capable of protecting yourself without your weapon but the rules of combat dictate that combat is between two armed foes." He said simply, waiting for the man to bring his weapon into a stance that he deemed as a ready stance. Seayn grinned at Shavir, shaking his head before having himself a little chuckle. "I haven't even begun to show you my defense yet." His voice full of mirth as he advanced upon the armed again dragon.
The young knight would start off his attack with a hard slash towards Shavir's neck. If it managed to get past the other man's sword its momentum would stop at the neck, feeling similar to a poke. After the slash, he pushed in, not wanting to have to engage in combat with weapons when he was so clearly inferior. He would have to invest in a proper weapon eventually. He attempted to use his momentum to tackle the physically smaller man.

As Seayn slashed down with his sword, the attack fell through, cleverly poking him on the neck. Twitching from it, he reacted just as quickly as Seayn did. As his foe charged at him, Shavir used demonic pulse once more, striking directly at Seayn in a frontal assault. So far, it had proven to work extremely well.
The burst of energy shot out, Shavir positioned his sword somewhat lower than his hip, and gave a strong upward thrust, aiming for Seayns Flank. On the downside, it this all fell through right, his arm would be somewhat strained and sore, stretched almost. The bashing of his hand against his opponent, despite the force of energy acting as a repellent, was still damaging.

The young knight was frustrated by the fact that his sword blow got through. Not only did that show that his weapon was useless but it would also limit his tactics for the rest of the fight. For all the use it was, he might as well sheathe Excalipur right now. Seayn did grin when he saw the energy swirling around his opponent's fist though. He knew what that meant, which meant that he also was prepared for it. Bulwark absorbed the impact of the blow, shattering but taking most of the blow for Seayn. The pulse landed against his breastplate, nothing more than a small dent was left upon it.
Unfortunately since his magical barrier had been destroyed by Shavir's first attack, it wasn't quite able to deflect the second attack. He felt the weapon slide grate against the armor, gashing into it slightly in a manner that left a flesh wound upon his thigh. Seayn grunted, his momentum thoroughly stopped by the attacks. He grunted loudly before throwing a heavy punch with his right hand, wrapped around Excalipur's pommel, along with the fact that he was gauntleted, it would be a bit more painful than a regular punch. He would also attempt to follow this up with his elbow to the side of his opponent's head, which be more likely to land if the first attack succeeded.

Both attacks landed, and Shavir immediately resorted to his defensive techniques. As he backed away as quickly as possible, his vision swirled once more, and a small amount of blood leaked from his face. Stabbing the sword into the ground, his body was quickly wrapped in a light aura, before instantly taking on his True Form.
A roar shot out from his mouth, monstrous and somewhat of an intimidation factor. His mouth, opened wide, sweltered with flames and then spewed out on his opponent in a strong, horrid blast. His Firebreath would hopefully deal some adequate damage. If not, the dragon would simply move forth to stomp, crush, bite, or take whatever means necessary to win the battle now. His mood had changed from simply sporting with his opponent, to pure anger. He hadn't seen his own blood in a long time.
