*Naïve* Being at such a young age, Boruda can be extremely simple and Naïve at times. Like his people; the Goron, Brouda can easily see the good when it comes to other creatures. Being a fighter, his mindset should be firm, strong, and tough on outsiders when one enters his territory. But instead, Brouda rather remain the young adult he is, and think about how much power said outsider possesses, or if they have any foreign food to share.

*Frank* Boruda is painfully honest, he'll never lie to his people; whom he would die for, or friends. He lives life by a code of moral and thinks lying is the ultimate sign of a coward, and Boruda is far from a coward. Asking this young Goron a question can lead to a a response that makes the being that asked instantly happy, or instantly sad. Others usually find this personally trait quite rude and bothersome, but Bourda doesn't do it to be mean. He does it because he cares. If a man respects another being enough to answer truthfully 100% of the time, that says something immensely, but others rarely see it that way.

*Courageous* From a very young age, Boruda showed a great deal of Courage and Pride. Whenever something isn't right within his eyes, he'll step up and cause the situation at hand to become right again using brute physical force, or his quick silver-tongue, no matter what it is. This trait; along with a few other important physical and mental traits caused Boruda to become the type of Goron the entire village wanted him to become, and his people have loved him for it every since he did just that. They know; no matter what, Boruda will forever fight for them and the heritage he respects so very much.

*Selfless* Spending the last ten years of his life training, Brouda developed his body into something more than a rock, but more like a crystal. Brouda is welling to take a swift attack, or even the blame for someone else. This ties in with his Naïve trait. Believing every being on this earth has some type of good within them, no matter how evil or what kind of past. If Brouda finds a being trustworthy, he'll happily use his body and abilities to protect them from any harm. This applies to every single Goron, and only a few close friends. And besides, you can't destroy crystal, right?

*prideful* Speaking badly about Boruda will most likely not even cause this Goron to flinch. If being a the center of attention taught him one thing within his eighteen years it's; he'll have to ignore negative, which he can do with the up most ease. Even though, there was a time when even the slightest word of disrespect caused this young Goron to go into a type of mad frenzy, but those times are over. Now he shrugs off all comments made directly to him, like it's nothing but a simple sword striking his crystal type body. The only true way to get Boruda angry is to show disrespect to his people and heritage. Those are the only two things that drive this young Goron crazy. His heart pumps passion for his people and heritage, and by another being disrespecting either way is the worst thing they could accomplish EVER!!!

---Appearance*

Standing at a perfect nine feet tall, Boruda towers over almost every other being. For a Goron he's extremely small for his size; only coming in at 500Ibs. Other Goron usually have wide fat guts, with small lower bodies; this is one reason why they move really slow, along with basically being rocks. Boruda himself has a muscular upper body, abs and tone lines can easily be seen going up and down his entire chest. But being a of Goron heritage, a small trace of fat can see be seen within his body, but's its barely noticeable do to all the muscles. One well recognized trait on his body would have to be his normal looking legs. His legs are the perfect ration to his body, which is normally never seen on his people. This gives Boruda a strong human like appearance. With that being said, he's lower body is extremely powerful just like his upper body, while both muscles and tone lines erupt from both legs. Brouda is essentially the perfect Patriarch.

Crystal Stalactite rest firmly out from behind his back. The stalactite glistens within the sun, while remaining virtually unbreakable by normal means. Within Boruda's pure white hair, small traces of crystal can also be seen hidden within the white locks. His arms, legs, and knuckles also has notice crystal protruding from these areas, making combat one of his strong points. Boruda's entire body is pretty much a crystal; the purest, hardest, and sturdiest form of rock there is.

Boruda is a creature of old habits, his main outfit rarely changes day by day. He normal doesn't ware upper clothing. He rather let his body face the harsh elements, he spent most of his days training and becoming the strongest he can possibly become, so he rather show off the fruits of his labor. His lower body can usually be seen in a extremely long, black loincloth. The loincloth itself wraps around's Boruda's waist three times, with the design of the Goron tattoo right in the front. The cloth itself hangs three inches off the ground. Normal clothes usually rip and tare the very moment he attempts to put them on, do to the razor sharp crystal erupting from his body, so a loincloth is the perfect way to go.

*---Tattoo Of The Titan---*
A rare tattoo can be seen going down Brouda's left arm, which gives Brouda the abilities of a all powerful Titan; a powerful monster of myth and legend. The Ink used can only be made once every 1000 years, and it's not really ink. It's molten magma find within the depths of Death Mountain. Even for the strongest Goron; adventuring deeper into the lava pits means instant death do to the sun like heat and the sheer volume of never ending flow of magma. But every 1000 years, the magma's flow ceases, creating a straight path into the depths. The magma is special; though it burns, the burning effect feels cold and somewhat nice. The Magma itself has a special magical propriety, there's many legends behind it. Some say it's been blessed by all three Golden- Goddess's. Others think the first Goron Patriarch put his soul into the magma; creating a path every 1000 years to see who's worthy of receiving such great power. The abilities one receive from gaining such a tattoo, various from Goron to Goron. Brouda has gained the ability of super speed, enhanced strength, and heightened reflexes. His speed is something of myth, much faster than the average Goron, and even faster than most humans. (Speed compared to Sheikah's super speed.) The tattoo also pushes his bodies nervous system and brain past normal limits, causing Brouda to react faster when in combat situations or just overall. Being a Goron, Brouda already possesses Immense strength, but the mystical tattoo located upon his arm doubles it. This type of gift will most likely never been seen again within a normal Goron's lifetime.

Crystal Body* Seeing how his body is almost fully crystal; Boruda developed the ultimate defense and offensive. When he punches or kicks, the crystals erupting from his body add slashing, piercing, and blunt damage. The force behind his blows can easily disarm a opponent if ones footing isn't proper when trying to block or deflect the massively heavy attacks. Most physical attacks don't fully faze Brouda. Brouda's entire body might be covered in extremely hard crystal, but there are a few main parts that are harder than others, and these parts are. His head and facial area, his arms, the front and back of his hands including the knuckles, his legs, his back, and shins. When a physical attack collides with his impenetrable crystal body, the damage is reduced by a small amount.

Crystal Manipulation* Quickly boosting his Metabolism , the crystals formed around his entire body can protrude even further away from his massive hulk like figure, or retract the sharpness into a round surface. This ability is commonly found within Goron's that have a basic understanding in the arts of magic. But Brouda took it up a notch and pushed the basic ability even further. The crystals extending from his body can nearly go forever, as long as Brouda is able to continue boosting his metabolism. When retracting, Brouda basically returns into a normal Goron. The Crystals are still present and visible, but they lose the sharp nature allowing him to touch another being without causing to much harm. The process in doing this is somewhat quick. This also passively adds to his natural defense to physical damage.

On top of Death Mountain, in a pit of molten magma is where Brouda was born. Coming to this earth was quick, compared to his other ten brothers and sisters. He was the tenth and final child his mother was having, another child would just be to much for her to handle. But something was slightly off with this baby Goron. Normally when one is born within the pool of magma, they cry from the heat. The heat doesn't hurt them, it's just uncomfortable and new to there small bodies. But Brouda was much different from the other babies born, he didn't produce a single tear. But instead, he chewed on the molten magma with his small, canine like teeth. The Patriarch was shocked, his mother was shocked, and the village elders were also shocked. For a baby Goron to demonstrate such amazing tolerance to such extremely heat, all while being able to chew upon the molten rock is beyond explanation. That day, everyone that witnessed this amazing feat knew something was special about little Brouda.

At the age of eight, Brouda started showing signs of a rare trait. Crystals protruded out of his bodies instead of normal type rock; commonly seen within all other Goron. Though small, and fragile compared to other crystals, his body was already stronger then most adult Goron. The other Goron's throughout the village gave little Brouda a nickname; "Crystal Boy". He didn't really care for the name, it was simply another title he ignored at times, but other times he would answer. Little Brouda was practically a walking legend throughout the Grono village. "The ideal Goron!" He continuously heard throughout the entire village whenever his name popped into a conversation. His brothers and sisters loved their little baby brother all the same, they didn't care if he was a "legend" among his people, they still played and argued like normally siblings. The combat trainer saw something within this child, something others couldn't see. When he played, Brouda displayed a lot more stamina and speed then the other children and even his own siblings. He knew what needed to be done, training this boy into the "ideal" Goron was his new goal, not only as a man; but as a Goron.

Training with Trainer was intense; something normal Goron wouldn't be able to handle. Little Brouda found himself drinking large amount of Molten Magma; the hottest he could handle without causing serious harm to himself. While doing this, he would curl his body up into a ball, and spin within the pool at extremely speeds. The pain couldn't be explained, when he cried, the Trainer told him to suck it up and keep going. For three long agonizing and brutal weeks of non stop training, no sign of results were seen besides his body swelling up and a great deal of muscle bulging all around his being. At this point, the Trainer was just about ready to give up, but Brouda wasn't. He wanted to continue getting stronger so he could live up to the villages expectations. This made the Trainer happy, the training may have not been working yet, but the true effects started sinking into the young Goron.

Five years would pass, and Brouda would still be continuing his training. But at this point in time, he trained in hotter magma, while spinning with speeds untraceable to the naked eye alone. Now, his body would be exposed with glistening crystal; the true results the Trainer wouldn't to accomplish the whole time, and it worked with great effect. Now, Brouda was virtually indestructible with amazing strength. The Trainer believed Brouda was already stronger then himself in every single aspect, but he wasn't envious. He helped the child unlock his true ability for the good of the village.

At the age of sixteen, Brouda began fighting In hidden Lava pits. up and coming warriors fought; wanting nothing more but to prove there strength, and so did Brouda. Whenever he fought, he dominated the competition with pure talent alone. The Trainer drilled in quick and easy takedowns within Brouda's head. He used these takedowns, but they made the fights to easy, Brouda wanted a prideful challenge; so he stopped using the skills. But this too didn't give him the challenge he wanted He's superior strength made the gap to wide. Then he tired taking on multiply opponents at once, even this too did nothing to crave his lust for battle. The only Goron within the entire village that could defeat Brouda would be the Trainer himself, but the two rarely sparred. But instead of sulking about the mediocre competition, Brouda started teaching the other Goron's the skills he learned from the Trainer, and the others caught on to the skills quickly. Soon, they would all become mighty warriors.

Brouda's eighteenth birthday came and went. The young Goron spent the entire day training within the molten pits of magma, pushing his crystal body even further. the Trainer had nothing else to teach Brouda. Brouda found himself on the right path of becoming the ideal Goron; perfect body, and the mind of a elder. But one thing bothered him greatly.Throughout the ten years of training and teaching what he has learned, he hasn't found another Goron of his skill level besides the Goron who trained him. He wants to feel the thrill of battle but that can't be done here in the village. Without second thoughts, he decided to leave and explore the world. Each Goron has his or her own calling, and Brouda's was simple. Search the world for a strong opponent and learn the true meaning of "power". But would did the gods have in plan for this young Goron?

Hate to break it to ya, but well, the Patriarch is Darbus. So if you want to keep this guy, make him an elder, though I suppose you can't really do that either...

You need 50 posts to make this guy a lieutenant, 100 to make Darbus. The reason some people have these characters without the posts is because they were on SoS, which we very recently moved over from.

You can make this guy a normal character and just get yourself 50 posts though. No one wants to be a Goron anyway, so there's no chance of the Elder spots being snatched up.

Worth a shot. I changed up a few things. I removed the leader slot, and edited his history accordingly. Everything should be good now.

Side Note: If no one wants to be Goron, then why not allow me to make a character that's the Patriarch? I mean, if it has to be cannon then never mind. Looks like you guys need powerful leader figures so you can get some site wide plot goin', and a Goron Patriarch could eliminate a few factors. At this rate, it seems like this site wont get another full blooded Goron until 2034.

Because leaders aren't vital to the plot. I'm just getting the ball rolling, after that, the plot is made by the members. The whole thing could even go without Link/Zelda/Midna, really.

Anyway, after reading the profile...

While the idea of a crystal goron is unusual, I'll allow it as an occasional mutation isn't unheard of, so the concept of a goron with crystals instead of rocks is ok. Now then...

Crystal Body: No. Giving yourself the ultimate offense and defense is a no go. Especially trying to get it for free. Physical attacks cannot be reduced that much. As there's no slot being used to increase his defense, he can be wounded like everyone else. Also, I'll assume the massively heavy attacks is due to his strength buff. Weapon breaking is not allowed for something that's not being paid for. And he can be hurt by magic like anyone else, not just "powerful" magic.

Tattoo of the Titan: You gave yourself a level 3 ability as a starter. Choose one of those buffs and axe the other two for now.

Crystal Manipultion:: Just keep the spike growth at three feet, rather than three more feet everytime he uses it.

History: He has way too much involvement with Darbus. Darbus can't have been his personal mentor, Darbus can't have passed the mantle of Patriarch onto him. He's not over 800 years old, and I doubt Brouda is superior to him in every imaginable way.

Also, he can't be a mystical Goron of Prophecy and Legend.

The power problems also end up wrecking the rest of the history and throwing it into conflict. To be honest, it'd just be easier for me to outright deny the character, but I figure I can give you a shot to try and fix things up as there might be a solution I'm not seeing.

When I said "powerful figures", I was leaning far far far away from Zelda and Link. They may be main characters, but having a RP site based around two - three people is extremely one-sided and boring. "Powerful figures"; king and queens that make important decisions. Decisions that doesn't only effect a group of people AKA personal plots, but ones that effect the whole site. Like a certain race starting a war against another race, or something along the lines of "terms" within the kingdoms. Much better then having some dude in green running around wondering in temples don't ya' think? Also, I had no idea the position I was going for was cannon. If I knew that from the start, I would've never even bothered with it, so my bad.

Haven't played to much of Twilight P, so I had no idea who Darbus was, Google is amazing, yo! And if you would've denied my character because of the abilities, then that would've been mega bananas!!!! I saw no limit to what kind of things you can put into one ability so it was pretty much trial n' error on my part. But yeah, I stated my case. Everything should be good (history wise). I changed up the abilities and gave Crystal body it's two main effects, just because it's Crystal and stuff.

That is exactly what I'm saying. If I have to choose between logic and gameplay balance, the latter will win every time. Heck, according to logic, my character should be a nigh unkillable beast of death and destruction, that the world cowers at the mere sight of, able to kill just about anything with one physical attack due to being a nine headed hydra. Doesn't sound so fair now, does it? But, he doesn't get any of that due to gameplay balance.

No, the nifty racials is what you get for thinking outside the box. Especially the nifty discount racial. No other race gets anything like that.

Double all physical attributes is more or less a buff to strength and speed really. We don't have 100 physical attributes here.

Your character can proclaim himself superior. But Darbus can't proclaim your character superior to him.

Not quite. Fire reduction is more in line because it's a specific element. Physical damage is much more broad.

Just say it slightly reduces physical damage instead of a number (especially for a complete physical reduction) and that should be it.
