Being a nymph Risa can easily be described as somewhat alluring. And, actually, that is an understatement. She is enough to drive practically any man crazy, and most women, too. With porcelain skin and a flawless and curvy figure she is the pinnacle of womanhood. Her hair is actually naturally green, wavy and long, to the small of her back, and her eyes are just as brilliantly, naturally green. She is both an anomaly and an epitome when it comes to femininity with such gentle yet commanding features so perfect they don’t even require make-up.
As for her typical garb, it’s definitely eye-catching. Risa likes to take care of herself and puts careful thought into her outfit. She wears a tight green singlet primarily with a sash around her waist and a draping cloak across the corset back. Her legs are clad in thigh-high green boots, her arms covered by detached green sleeves that are quite long and can often be mistaken for her cloak as they flow. Finally she bears a king’s ransom in various jewellery, from her necklace to her earrings and tiara.
WEAPONS,Risa only carries one implement on her that could be considered a weapon, and that is a floral-themed whip. Of course it doubles as a tool and triples where other interests are concerned, but let’s not talk about that right now.

ABILITIES,Channel Nature – For five posts, with a cooldown of four posts, Risa is able to triple her physical attributes. She does this, essentially, by channeling forces of nature, allowing her to become more dextrous, stronger, and much more perceptive. It also allows her to perform extraordinary feats such as jumping (and landing) great heights. The one downside to this is that by channeling nature she becomes much more animalistic, feral, in order to compensate for the sudden difference. Of course this isn’t always a bad thing, depending on who you ask.
Nature’s Umbra – Risa is a naturally gifted illusionist. None of those carnival tricks that require sleight of hand, though she’s capable of that too, but actual illusions. The illusions are exactly that, of course, false representations, magical manipulations. They have no physical body and as soon as they’re struck they dissipate. At least the big ones do; there are some useful quick tricks to illusionary magic as well. One of Risa’s favorites is simply conjuring a quick flash of light to disorient those around her to allow her to escape. Illusions last until they are either unsummoned by Risa or dissipated, and after each one is conjured there is a two post cooldown.
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Ethereal Beauty - When out of combat, such is their sheer, unbridled beauty, even the most stoic of individuals is often captivated, and has their more base desires brought to the forefront of their thoughts, to the point of distraction. In combat, they may focus this allure into a very real and tangible distraction, often cued by a batting of the eyelashes, reducing all damage they inflict by half for 2 posts. This ability has a 6 post cooldown.
Spirit of Nature - Being connected deeply to the ever-enduring majesty of nature, Nymphs are naturally very resistant, if not immune to ailments which would corrupt and wither other lesser beings. As such, they are immune to all poison, disease and aging effects, magical or otherwise.
HISTORY,
Being a spirit of nature, a nymph is not born. There is no mother or father, nor period of childhood or anything of that sort. A nymph comes into being when enough magic mingles in certain areas, often by sheer coincidence or by the drive of natural forces. Nymphs manifest just as they always will be, they do not grow up, though their mentality might still be reminiscent of a child.
Risa was formed in just this way, along with her twin sister Freya. There isn’t much to go into on the first few months of their existence. They learned, basically, of the world around them. How to walk, how to talk, how to survive. They didn’t travel that far from their point of existence, turning that into their home, exploring out further and further every week until they discovered a settlement not far from their home.
The people of the settlement didn’t take kindly at first to two grown women walking completely nude into their town. There was much fussing, but they were taken in and clothed. This was the first real interaction the two nymphs had with anyone aside from each other. From the settlement they learned quite a bit and in essence finished their development. That is, while there they experienced their true nature for the first time outside of exploratory scenarios with each other.
Of course some of the wives in the town didn’t take kindly to this behavior and they were quickly shooed out as politely as possible. So began a period of wandering for the sisters as they were now fully matured and able to take care of themselves. They ventured out and traveled from town to town, soon finding their natural talents were a high demand trade. They were able to live like this, despite certain incidents here and there with more possessive or curt patrons, for several years.
Then they found a Sheikah tribe, ruled by a man named Elohim. In exchange for their stock and trade he took them in and showed them a life of luxury, of spoils, a life they never forgot. They spent years there with Elohim, enjoying the life he granted them, until a plague struck and wiped out his tribe. All of the death was too much for the sisters, being spirits of nature and life, and they fled. Their natural immunity saved them from the plague, but their life had been shattered.
And, unfortunately, they’d gotten enough of a taste of the life that they wanted to keep it. Risa took her sister with her as they traveled around, looking to reconstruct the life they once had. Many times they found themselves in the lap of luxury once more, but each and every time it was taken away from them, whether by jealous courtesans, sickness, or just aging. Time slays all, as it were, except for the two natural beauties. Kings died and their heirs did not want to take care of the nymphs, wars happened, and eighty long years of reconstructing their life over and over again ensued.
Until now, when the sisters have found themselves a home in Castle Town. While not exactly luxurious it is enough to get by. But Risa, at least, strives to retain that life, to bring it back up to what it once was. Whether through stealing, from her trade or any means whatsoever she aims to see herself and her sister enjoying luxury once more, no matter the cost.
