APPEARANCE,Dawn is not your typical Twili. Her skin is an off color as per normal, a bluish hue, but somehow manages to be fair, along with smooth and practically flawless. Her figure is slender and thin, with curvaceous hips and an ample bust. Overall she appears to be your typical Twili from the neck down. Above the neck, however, she has long slender ears that are definitely out of the ordinary.
Despite this she is quite pleasing to look at. Her hair is actually a green-blue color, wavy and long. It is decorated with leaves. Her eyes are narrow with long lashes, the irises a very, very pale blue that sometimes looks white, depending on the lighting. This is complemented by a long white gown that she typically wears that is designed to accentuate all the important features.

ABILITIES,Frost MagicShadow and darkness is created in the absence of light. The absence of light often means the absence of the energy it brings, meaning that the darkness can often be quite cold. Dawn has come to master this concept in the form of ice magic. While this magic can manifest itself in many different ways such as being able to create minor objects out of ice or freezing a puddle of water. It can be used for much more drastic uses, as well, such as:
- Ice Wall – contrary to popular belief this ability does not create a sheer wall of ice. Instead it summons a sudden burst of ice spikes which protrude upward, meaning it can be used both offensively and defensively. When the wall is summoned it can deal a heavy amount of damage to anything caught in the wake of the spikes. Furthermore the wall itself, stretching six feet high, lingers until it is broken. A wall can take a heavy amount of damage before it break, the shards disappearing immediately. It can only take a light amount of fire-based damage, however. [Three post cooldown]
- Flash Freeze – this ability is fired straight forward in a cone, meaning it expands wider the further it gets from Dawn to a maximum of ten feet. Anything caught within this cone is immediately frozen, organic or not. Organic beings, however, generate enough heat that they cannot be frozen thoroughly, but merely encased in a thin layer of ice that keeps them immobile unless they take the time to break free. Thus what it accomplishes is a hindrance to any person hit and an awkward surface for them to maneuver. [Two post cooldown]
RACIAL ABILITIES,
TransformationA Twili in fact, has a monstrous form. This is more often than not what most Twili resort to when they feel threatened. These monstrous forms have no extra abilities, aside from their size and their raw power. A Twili can freely toggle between their forms. In battle, this has a cooldown of 4 turns. The levels determine the size of their beast form.
- Level 4 - The Shadow Beast can the size of a COLOSSUS.
- Dawn’s Shadow Beast form is, quite simply, a dragon made out of darkness and frost. The frost is merely aesthetic, emitting from ridges, scales and so forth, though it does freeze smaller, inorganic things that get too close.
HISTORY,
Dawn was born to a rare Twili bloodline. They were some of the strongest Twili dragons, and thus they cherished their lineage. One child per generation was granted a dragon form in the family, and Dawn lucked into it. Along with this privilege came certain physical deformities, such as her ears, as well as a prolonged lifespan. Being a special child in a noble line had its benefits, and Dawn had many things granted to her growing up. Yet she was never spoiled, at the same time.
Dawn grew quickly, but her aging stopped in her early twenties and never advanced from there. She was the top of her class throughout schooling and from her noble position she was able to become quite well-known, gathering much influence and advancing through the ranks. She joined the Twili council, dealing with the Twilight Sovereign directly at times, when the matter called for it. Needless to say Dawn had quite the successful life.
But she was never really part of it. Even when dealing with the Twilight Sovereign she was never all there, never giving it her full attention. She always acted distant, as if she had more to worry about, more important business elsewhere. It was this mannerism that led her directly down the wrong sort of alleyway one “night” when she was walking through the streets of the city. She was cornered by some thugs who proceeded to make their intentions quite clear.
Before Dawn could show them her blessed bloodline another Twili came to her rescue. A man by the name of Luthien, known about the city for being a bit of a sociopath. He brutalized the thugs, even killed one, not that it bothered Dawn. For the first time in her life she felt something fully, something that actually reached her despite her distant demeanor. It was some sort of companionship she immediately felt for Luthien.
From there the rest is pretty fairy tale. The maiden who couldn’t find much fulfillment or connection to life finally finds it in the form of the misunderstood sociopath. The two founded a bizarre relationship that became a twisted form of love. It wasn’t exactly normal, but regardless it was something Dawn found herself enjoying.
Except her boyfriend was also a sociopath. Regardless of what kind of connection she had built with Luthien, the rest of Twili society saw him differently. He committed some atrocious acts, and finally they had enough. Luthien was banished from the city, despite Dawn’s best attempts to use her influence. But Dawn was not the kind of lady to just take things sitting down, so she got up, told the Twili where they could go, and promptly chased after Luthien.
Straight into the Light Realm.
