APPEARANCE,
Despite popular belief heroes do not appear out of thin air. They come from the most unlikeliest places, and Link happens to fit that trait to a tee. You wouldn't expect this young hero to come from the country parts of Hyrule. The hylian is a country boy born and raised. Being a farm hand for most of his life toned his form naturally with a medium build with muscles built appropriately. This is also enhanced with swordsmanship over the years with the village's only swordsman.
As far as face value goes, Link is an attractive youth with dirty blond hair. It falls in a wild, wispy-like style with his bangs swept over to the side, and out of his face. While it is longish in the front, its kept short in the back. His features are sharp, prominent with a slender, angular face, long nose, and defining jawlines that curve nicely forming his chin. With his hylian heritage, Link has long pointed, elf-like ears pierced with blue earrings. His eyes are a beautiful bright blue that could turn the skies green with envy of their luster. On the back of his left hand, he carries the a birthmark, which takes the shape of three triangles. The mark of the Triforce.
Coming from Ordon Village, Link doesn't appear more than an average young man living an everyday life. As a farm hand, he wears clothes meant for working at the ranch, herding livestock for the ranch caretaker. His attire mainly consists of a white sleeveless shirt made of an assortment of pieces put together with one green longsleeve attached on his left. Wrapped around his waist is a blue cloth tied down by an orange sash of sorts that holds his pouches to hold his tools, and items on him. His bottom half mainly consists of off white slacks tied at his calves, and a pair of cozy sandals.
When Link must make a travel outside of home he has a different outfit appropriate for adventures, and long journeys. The most recognizable features of this attire is his forest green tunic, and matching cap. His cap covers much of his hair except for his bangs, and falls slightly long and ends with a point. Under his tunic he sports a set of chainmail which provides a little bit of protection, and layered underneath that is a white undershirt. His forearms adorn leather guards. Finally his pants are white and tuck into a pair of leather boots.
WEAPONS,Ordon Sword - Originally intended to be given to the Royal Family as a tribute. However after seeing that it was needed for other purposes, Rusl decided to let the young hylian keep it. Link kept and claimed the sword as his main offensive weapon.
Hylian Shield - A metal sheild given to him by one of his friends. The front of the shield bears the crest of the Royal Family of Hyrule, along with an image of the Triforce. It can withstand heat, and proivdes quite good defense.
ITEMS,Slingshot - A child's toy he bought at the only shop in Ordon Village. While it doesn't do major damage like a standard projectile weapon, it still stings to get hit by anything shot by this. It's basically used on knock down things such as items stuck in high inaccessible areas or taking out pesky birds that eat out of the crops.
Fishing Rod - While he doesn't carry it around with him all of the time, when Link has down time, he likes to take this out and enjoy a few hours of fishing. It was a gift from Colin.

HISTORY,
There are a few holes in Link's history that even the hylian could not explain. As far as he's concerned he was born, and raised in Ordon Village. That was where his parents gave birth to him, and at a very young age, they disappeared. It was highly speculated that they passed away leaving the poor boy with the house, and money for himself. Along with everything else that came with it. Nobody knew what happened to them, one day they were there, then the next they were no where to be found.
He was helped raised by the small village, and took it upon himself to make something of his life. At a young age, he began to help out around Ordon Ranch, doing various chores for Fado in his youth. As the years gone by the work increased in labor, but the pay got higher. Soon enough Link was moved up to a full-fledged farmhand. All the years working on the ranch, he shared a bond with a chestnut brown mare with snow white mane named Epona. She was a wild horse who didn't listen to anybody but Link. Together, the two would herd goats and plough the fields and so forth. All in all it was a pretty typical life.
While working about the village Link also became fast friends with the other children, Ilia, the mayor’s daughter, and Colin, a shy boy who looks up to Link. In fact, Link often protects Colin from the taunting and mockery of the other children in the village, acting out of that heroic nature of his. When all is said and done, Link’s history is rather common outside of the mysterious origins.
He works even now as a farmhand, having become almost as competent as Fado himself after all these years of working there. However as of recent he's been given new tasks that require him to travel out of the village. What lies ahead for Link is to be determined...
