(OOC: To all those involved with Merik's plot, I'd like to take a moment to apologize, but Merik, in his infinite wisdom, specifically chose being perma-admin-killed and giving me all his rupees over an impartial DM (Rwaht, specifically) being brought in to take care of all the metagaming in the plot. I don't get his logic either. Anyway, as such, the plot has more or less been canned. You can thank Merik.)

Well that had been easy.
When Nightmare finally tracked and hunted down Merik, the fight didn't really last all that long. It was clear that the Gerudo King, despite getting some help from the now deceased Fairy Queen, was in no condition to be fighting. So when going up against Nightmare, who was at full strength, it was fairly one sided. Merik went down, and Nightmare didn't even have a scratch on him. He supposed that getting the jump on a man when he was in no condition to be really doing anything did have its advantages. Regardless, in one fell swoop, Nightmare had pretty much taken out the two people most likely to start a war with Hyrule. All in all, he felt like a badass.
So that was why he was here. He felt no need to use Titania's body now that Merik had fallen. Truth be told, he was going to use this to spark the inevitable war and help bring the hammer down on Merik's head. But seeing as he was able to track the guy down and murder him, no need. All that was left to do was go back to Zelda's and present the trophies to the Princess. That in itself hadn't been hard either. Just go through the usual nooks and crannies carrying the bodies with him and slip pst the guards. Honestly, it had been ridiculously easy. He supposed that the guards just relied on the Knight Captain or the Royal Guard to pick up on anything that ended up happening around here. Lazy bastards.
So when he had again snuck into Zelda's room, he dropped the bodies of Merik and Titania onto the floor. Going into the corner, he took a seat. He figured if the thumping of the bodies didn't wake the Princess up, then chances are that his presence probably would. Either way, he would give her two words, perhaps those would rouse her from her sleep. "It's done." He spoke in a someone proud tone. Hell, he had just helped her, so why wouldn't he be proud? His actions had for now averted open war. Granted, Kotone might be something that needed to be dealt with later on in the longrun, but for now, the greater of two evils had been taken care of.
