It had been another successful day of eating pirates. And god dammit Leviathan knew that he was getting good at this. The Paike beasts broke against his oncoming assault so easily that it was almost unfair to consider this any more than an actual game. From the Knowing he knew that his kind as children often played games like this, he had no chance however as his time as hatchling had mostly been encompassed on eating and growing more rapidly.
He did after all have little time to enjoy it. He imagined that if his people were still one with the ocean then he would have been protected in these playing. As it was however had needed to grow to protect himself. Those times had been dangerous. But they were passed. Now there was little in the ocean that could pose a unique threat to him.
He lay his head upon the beach shore of a nearby island, coming up only slightly. The sand shifting under the tremendous weight of his body. He was snake like, although he did have a set of arms on his upper body that also hosted his upper “ wings* that one would assume whilst under water were fins. They acted in the same purpose. Dragging himself onto land with colossal claws. He let half his body exposed in the water, so that if any threats did come to him whilst he bathed in the sun. He could quickly turn and escape into a sea. This situation was much like a crocodile out of fresh water. Lying partially submerged on the beach, but with a quick and easy escape route if required.
He breathed out, sending sand flying back and away from his large nostrils. His belly full, wrecked pirate ships just slightly off the coast of the island. He was fully content. There was no real beating the simple things in life. The sun was enjoyable upon his scales, and he feared no assault upon him by animal or beast. But some rain with the sun would be nice, to keep his scales moist.
” Stum...al...Drem...”
He spoke the words to himself, but also to the skies. Using his power to command the skies to open and give him the rain that he desired.

And eventually, Rilu found what she was looking for. She had grown more than tired with those self-righteous humans who thought they could claim the sea as their own simply because they had these 'boats'. Boats didn't know the ways of the sea; they didn't breathe it, or live it. They were nothing more than things made by man, things that were not even alive, but claimed life in order to exist. It was wrong, and she did not intend to allow these fools to continue stomping all over the Zora race. The sea was their domain, and she would prove that to them. She just had to find someone who had the power to take down ships at a time, someone much bigger and stronger than she was.
That was why she tracked down the leviathan. She had known a powerful beast lived in the depths of the ocean; a beast that commanded the skies themselves to pour and had the strength to destroy ships. It was a creature known as a leviathan, and while land-born may refer to it as a monster, she knew better. It was a glorious creature, a living thing much like her, who's habitat was interfered with by humans. Admittedly, they were on very different ends of the food chain, and nature would take it's course, but she felt that for the sake of that nature, they could ally together to defeat the common enemy.
Or, you know, she could just convince him that the pirate bay was good food.
After tracking down his movements, she eventually found the leviathan sitting on the coast of an island far from the mainland. She didn't really care for going on land, but she would have to to speak with him. Besides, he brought rain, so the land wouldn't be as annoying as going up when it was dry and sunny. Not far down the coast from the leviathan, the zora female emerged from the tides and walked up on shore, moving some of the feelers that fell over her face back behind her head, before turning to face the creature and begin approaching. She held no hostility and actually had a smile on her face.
"Hey there, fellow sea dweller! What brings you up on shore?" she shouted while waving, already formulating the way to keep her from being eaten. It was a pretty simple argument really, she just had to actually get the conversation going. [/size]

His large eyes shut he was doing what any Jul male would likely do on the beach. Albiet not whilst summoning down rain to keep their scales moist and glistening. He took a breath in and a scent followed along the wind to him long before the voice did. The smell of it was the smell of the sea. But also of fertility. A female? For a moment his collosal heart skipped a beat. Could it be? He wasn't the only one. For a brief second the idea of food trumping everything came to a close. Only one thing trumped food and that was procreation.
His eyes opening he was most disappointed to see that what was before him was not a magnificant female Leviathan. But another denizen of the sea. A semi naked Mul-Joor. He let out a brief sigh, sending the sand flying back again. She was approaching him, and whilst she was not a female Leviathan and therefore what he wanted. She did perk his curiousity as to just WHY she was approaching him in the first place. Things did not normally come to him. Particularly when he was in this form and in clear view. Such things were often considered self death. Suicide. And yet she held no signs that she thought that this was the case. Her face disended in what the Joor refered to as smiling.
How strange.
And then she spoke to him, refering to him as a " fellow sea dweller". There were two things wrong with this. The first was the fellow part, This to Leviathan indicated that she on some level considered herself his equal. And this to him, was laughable. The second was the fact she was refering to him as a sea dweller. Whilst this was an accurate analogy. This was not what he had heard the other Joor calling him, and indicated that she was for some reason trying to establish a strange kind of....kindship. One that would follow along with the fellow part of her sentence. But he decided to indulge his curiousity and answer.
"..Duna ves Et Talu..The feel of the wind is...not unpleasant....it is like the tides...but different...it carries its own song...voice..words..."
To most creatures this reply would be considered rather enigmatic. Which it was. Although the main reason was that Leviathan was still rather new at the common tongue of the Joor and from time to time got his words mixed up. Now it was his turn to ask and hers to listen. Although normally he would have simply shot forth like a crocodile and snapped her up. His meal of pirates not quart an hour past had filled him considerably. " And what of you Mul-Joor?, Maiden of the Sea, what is it that brings you to these beaches?...Surely there are Males who seek to mate?....or is it that there are none so strong as to propagate with?".
