RWAHT ORIN
UN dying
RACE,Sheikah/Human – Sheikah dominant.
GENDER,Male
BATTLE ROLE,Pacifist.
SEXUALITY,Heterosexual
AGE,43.
ALLIANCE,Peace.
PERSONALITY,Though Rwaht is only forty—not young, but not exactly ancient—circumstances have aged him a fair bit beyond his years. He is often quiet, and careful to speak, and has gathered a sort of incidental, simple wisdom from travelling for so long and devoting himself so utterly to peace. It would be wrong to call him kind, exactly, for he always remains slightly detached and aloof, but he will help any in need, often without a word. In fact, he does many things without a word, choosing not to speak or involve himself at all.
That’s not to say he’s completely dry and boring, of course. As a matter of fact, quite the opposite. You just need to get to know him enough for him to feel comfortable speaking with you at any length. Rwaht is intelligent, and has a surprising wit, and speaks with the reassuring clarity of one who has outgrown the arrogance of their youth. Rwaht is humble, and rarely preaches; he will almost never engage in long philosophical prattle with any one or thing. He has known anger, pain, hurt, and loss, and all these have left their mark on him, leaving him with the wisdom and sadness of those who suffer.
Though he would not like to admit it, Rwaht is not, by his nature, someone who enjoys seclusion and loneliness, and he actually does enjoy to be around people, when he allows himself to. He can even be something of a joker, and a good friend. Of course, he has his hot-button issues. Everyone does. He will not, for instance, discuss his past, under almost any circumstances, and he will never say something rashly, without thinking it through. Those days are long behind him. The consequence is that he can sometimes be frustrating to speak with, as when he is asked a question, he may wait a very long time, his expression practically unreadable, before finally saying only the most minimal thing.
APPEARANCE,Rwaht’s appearance is part of the reason that his disappearing act has been so successful.
You see, when Rwaht was a younger man, he had long, brown hair, wore a fairly stylish jacket, had a neat sword, and had a very distinctive scar running down his forehead. He was also pretty tall, so he wasn’t easy to miss: the fact that such a unique appearance suddenly vanished had a lot to do with the rumours that he’d just stopped existing.
The truth is, Rwaht lost access to his original form long ago. For the past fifteen years or so, Rwaht has been stuck in the white-haired form of the Holy Destroyer, a dark part of his being that has haunted his steps since he was a young man. The Destroyer isn’t a different person altogether, of course—but more on that later.
In his current state, Rwaht has a bizarre, ageless quality, and an almost otherworldly sort of handsomeness to him; he almost seems too handsome, or at least vaguely inhuman. His skin is pale, and his eyes are a bright, greenish blue with catlike slits in place of normal pupils. Despite this considerable handicap, he is able to convey the full range of emotion quite normally; but those eyes tend to make his every gesture seem somewhat off. He tries to work around it.
Physically, he is tall, standing at 6’3”, and has a fairly muscular, though lithe build, stemming from his Sheikah ancestry. He wears a long, black jacket, which is surprisingly durable and multipurpose, given its leather material; though his chest is left open, a small emblem protects his torso. The only armour he wears are a pair of elaborate silver pauldrons, which he incorporates into his purely defensive fighting style. To watch him move is to observe someone whose long life has been devoted entirely to battle: his every movement is fluid, graceful, with a precision seldom seen in any being in Hyrule.
WEAPONS,Origin
ITEMS,Rwaht carries no items on his person, aside from necessary survival supplies.
ABILITIES,One With Nothing
However, it’s what happens while he’s in that form that’s really nuts. While Rwaht is focusing so intensely, it becomes literally impossible to do harm to anyone. If you do, you will find that the person will only be healed correspondingly to the damage done to them; if they are in full health, the attacks, whatever their nature, will simply, and utterly, fail. A monster attempting to close its jaws on someone would find their flesh impossible to pierce, their venom unable to erode flesh or cause pain. Any violent action will simply have no effect, and instead be transferred into a healing force.
Of course, this also applies to Rwaht, as well. In fact, this is key. One With Nothing affects everyone; Rwaht himself, his allies, enemies, and so on. But such a level of concentration can only last for so long; Rwaht can maintain One With Nothing for three posts, before he reverts back to his Destroyer form and the effect of One With Nothing passes. After this, he needs a five post cooldown before he can re-engage with a philosophical denial of the possibility of violence again.[/ul]

HISTORY,
Specific details about Rwaht’s past are hard to track down. It’s generally known that a boy of mixed Sheikah and Human blood worked his way into the Hylian Knights, gaining remarkable prominence as a gifted swordsman and valiant pursuant of justice, though one who was sometimes merciless in his punishment of criminals. He enjoyed a brief, but vivid, flash of fame as a “master swordsman” by the time he was in his mid-twenties, and was popularly considered to be in a prime position for a promotion to the higher ranks of the Knights, despite his unusual status as a mixed-blood Sheikah.
However, around that time, he suddenly vanished. No one is entirely sure on the details, and Rwaht has never explained his disappearance to anyone. No one saw Rwaht Orin in Hyrule again, though a few years later, there was the odd report, every now and again, of a man in a black coat, wandering across Hyrule, doing the odd good deed here or there, apparently impervious to assault. No one much paid the rumours of this new traveller any mind, however. It is a personal observation of Rwaht’s that people tend not to notice men of peace near so much as men of war.
