PERSONALITY,Niro leads a life of endurance; a natural born survivor, he adapts easily to most situations as they come and handling near anything despite the circumstances. This aspect of personality is a great thing for a warrior to possess, for their lifestyles often put them on the front lines against highly-dangerous foes. Despite this, Niro is still a rather laid-back and fun loving individual; he is almost always seen with a light grin, and enjoys many activities like sports, smoking cigars, and reading. He is sociable and enjoys the company of others, and is known to be rather humorous. Like many of his people, Niro is rather patriotic and has a strong sense of nationalism in his country and lady, Princess Zelda. He takes in duty rather seriously, as a way to atone for his sins, although that doesn't mean he'll joke around or be entirely serious all the time.
Friends come easily to Niro, with his open and charismatic approach to peoples of all kinds, ally, rival, or otherwise. Relationships are easily made with jokes and wit, He values the lives and relationships of all his friends, despite how long he's known them, their abilities, and their origin. Because of this, he is as likely to make a friend out of a Fairy or Zora as he is to make of another Sheikah. Niro is also very blunt, a trait that often opens as well as closes doors for him. He never likes to bullshit or skirt around what he's trying to say or explain, because he simply does not like that happening to him. He can seem a bit unemotional because of this, but the truth is that he does care genuinely for all. Niro is a natural flirt, hitting on quite possibly every attractive woman similar to his age, and receiving mixed results. He is usually good with the ladies and has had quite a few relationships in the past, though he rather enjoys the freedom of being single, unless there is someone particular he cares deeply for.
Niro has a competitive, never-back-down approach to life as well. Defiant to the end, he will never quit, no matter the odds or forces against him. He can be seen as reckless for this reason, charging into combat in an almost foolhardy manner. And yet it only seems like that, for Niro is ever planning and plotting. This also makes him seem very confident, or extremely overconfident. The truth is, Niro trusts himself and his abilities, but also knows his limits. In truth, he is actually not that overconfident, just prepared and ready to face anything, whether it be superior, inferior, or right on his level. It must be stressed, that because of his raising and want to gain the respect and admiration that his master had before him had, Niro will never, ever back down. After being knocked down, he will simply rise to be either beaten again or take the upper-hand in the fight. For this reason, he can be inspiring to his allies, often leading them straight into the midst of combat in high-risk, and often suicidal, charges.
Niro's defiance can also be a hindrance. His flippant actions can be seen as disrespectful by those who do not personally know or understand him. He enjoys pissing people off just as much as he likes pleasing people, using verbal taunts and gestures. An action almost characteristic of him is “flicking off” or sticking up his middle finger in an archaic “fuck you” gesture. Heavy sarcasm is also rather characteristic of him when fighting superior foes, so they slip up more and do not notice their mistakes. Niro himself is rather chill in most situations and prides himself in his ability not to be ticked off. Keeping his cool in a fight allows him to better combat peoples and situations. When Niro does get angered, be prepared, because shit just got real.
APPEARANCE,The dark and powerful frame of this man is a sight to see, at the least. Countless hours of rigorous training and action have made his body into something akin to marble, fair-skinned but strong and powerful. His muscles are built tight to his frame and slim, lean but filled with power and speed. Silky, raven locks of hair pervades his head, a long flowing mane constantly growing with time, reaching down past his shoulders. His eyes are describe sometimes as something divine or perhaps demonic, a powerful vermilion hue that fills the iris, with strange black shapes, truly unique in design and appearance. They take a kind of almond shape, you could say.
The man's garb is primarily concentrated on two colors; black and red. His armor is based on an ancient armor style, along his shoulders, chest, and thighs. The armor itself is painted a dazzling cinnabar color. Under the armor is his casual attire, a kind of black body suit that covers in entire form. The clothe is nonrestrictive and light, allowing for a wide range of motion. Over everything, he will occasionally choose to don a long black cloak with a tight cowl to cover his identity, as well as an orange mask. His clothing and armor proudly bear the symbol of his people, the Sheikah.
WEAPONS,ABBADON: The destroyer. Curved blade of immaculate mithril, this blade is capable of cutting through most worldly materials, is sheathed with a solid ebony scabbard bearing a single gold ribbon, and has a hilt wrapped of white and black silk.
LUCIFER: Light-bearer. A massive war fan bearing a chain, with a small sickle at the end, the fan stands almost as tall as the World-Eater himself. The hard mithril has been formed around a core of ebony wood, specially forged with the idea to reduce weight, but the weapon is still hefty, like maybe that of a war axe. Because of familiarity from years of use and his own natural strength, Niro can use it with ease, skill fully maneuvering, slashing, blocking, what have you, with intense speed. Outlined with black, the fan itself bears a series of tomoe, comma like symbols that are similar to that of what can be found in the warrior's eyes. Edges of the weapon are actually sharpened like that of razors, and the flat edges of the fan are built like a shield, allowing the user to both attack, and defend, attacking with both cutting and blunt force.
ITEMS,KROSIS: Sorrow. A necklace simple in appearance, this holds quite a history. The name is bears, Krosis, is a word in the Dragon tongue, meaning sorrow. This necklace is crafted from the claws of an ancient dragon that attacked the kingdom hundreds of years ago, and was slain by the first Royal Guard. The “sorrow” represents all the pain the dragon cost, for it killed a great multitude of people before the current Royal Guard's ancestor ended it's life. He wears it constantly to honor his forefather.
ABILITIES,ANGEL'S EYES: All Sheikah have red eyes. That's just a biological fact. However, Niro's are slightly different. Whereas most Sheikah just have red irises, with the normal black center and everything, Niro's has special shapes. When he was first born, his eyes were normal, but as time went on, they continued to change and progress. As he got better with his “eye magic” the eyes changed and developed physically as well, from one tomoe to more.
Rank 1 [Mercy]:These divine eyes aren't just special for show, they actually carry a special magic about them as well. Radically enhancing the clarity of perception, he can see further, pick up even the smallest details, and help predict movements. This pairs astoundingly with his superspeed, allowing him to not only see quickly, but also react at a great speed. This helps him quite effectively predict the movements of his foes, thanks to his keen mind as well. Five post duration, five post cooldown.
DEUS EX UMBRA: Sheikah are masters of shadows and darkness, and Niro is no exception. Being known as one of the most powerful Sheikah in existence, and leading his race as their chief representative, it is only natural that he has a great deal of power in shadow magics, the skill that characterizing the race as a whole. He has spent many years training and honing the power of his people.
Rank 1 [Shadow Step]: All shadows and darkness come from the same place. A primordial abyss, or void, completely without light. Without light, everything is together, everything is in. Based on that fact, all shadow and darkness are connected. Some people have developed abilities to be able to leave our world, walk through this black void, and reappear back in our world. Niro is one such individual. He can simply phase through whatever shadow he is in contact with, and reappear through another one. This lasts only a single post, and has a three post cooldown.
Rank 2 [Shadow Current]: In time, everything returns to dust and shadow. From a shadow he will spawn this attack, a tomoe, or comma, shaped projectile of darkness that is launched at an enemy and erupts. Hits with shadow damage, and if hit directly, or if hit by splash damage, the enemy will be covered by the darkness magics, making what is hit black and allowing Niro to use that shadow as well. Four post cooldown.

HISTORY,
From his birth, greatness was expected of Niro. Especially with a name that translates to common tongue as “Strong Honorable Kill”, but very few outside of the Sheikah know this, as it is in ancient Sheikah tongue. From the beginning he was judged, the very moment he left the womb. Some said he was too small, some said too big, others said too pale or too dark. But above all the petty judgments and observances, one thing was obvious. His eyes were special. Crimson like all other Sheikah, yes, but special. They bore black symbols and shapes, rather unnatural. Some said he was cursed, some said he was blessed. Yet only time would tell.
Every moment of his life was training him, preparing him for a position. He was to be the Royal Guard, top guardian of the Royal Family of Hyrule, and among the highest political leaders of the nation. He was born for one purpose, and one purpose only. To defend Hyrule and her crown, like his ancestors. He was a descendant of the first Royal Guard, slayer of an ancient dragon that plagued Hyrule with his dragon army. His victory guaranteed magnificence from him and his family, the very first guardians of the Royal Family. His victory also destined his descendents to servitude, a responsibility passed onto Niro from his first breath.
Niro knew his mission, his purpose for being, from a very young age. Despite some early doubt, he was the prodigal son his people had hoped for, fast, strong, and above all else, intelligent. Everything came easy to him, from combat studies to academics, sciences to mathematics. He would soak up and absorb knowledge constantly, always observing, analyzing, and learning. One would think that this upbringing would leave him secluded and antisocial, but it didn't. He grew up surrounded by a wonderful support grew; his family, his people, the Royal Family, the Knights. He learned under countless masters, from Gerudo pirates to Goron wrestles, Zora fishermen to Minish druids. From early on, he experienced so many different cultures and concepts, and developed into his own person from it all.
Adolescence would bring real experience to Niro, missions and quests all around the continent. He tracked traitors through the desert, battled dragons upon mountains, slain great beasts in the forests. And he excelled at it all, a stunning example of the Sheikah people, despite any doubts that had been there at first. He showed everyone that he was prepared for his position as leader, and took the title of Royal Guard, protector of Hyrule and her princess. Herald of a grand nation, he faces the future with determination and optimism.
EXTRAS,
Niro's job is that of being Zelda's most personal guard, as well as an emissary and herald of the crown. In Niro's time, he's acquired a few titles and aliases. To most of the kingdom, he is known as “World-Eater”. His elders refer to him as “Void-Strider”, and among dragons he is known as “Vokun”, or shadow. He also bears many aliases, his favorite and most common being Eaite Thorne.
