Fiend of The Forest [PLOT | CLOSED]

[Midna]

The gentle flow of restless water poured from small waterfalls. All laid calm, and submissive to except for the movements of the waterfall isolated within the center. An eerie tranquility laid forth within the poorly lit area. The waterfall dumped purple waters into a pool filled with decayed foliage unfortunate enough to fall within it's murky waters. A rather grim image~ Care for a swim?

This peace, however, was nothing more than a vague excuse for a facade. With the sound of intruders entering it's domain, a small quake could be felt underneath the earth. The betraying silence of the woods died away. Violent ripples in the poisonous pool of water could be seen up front. Something was coming.

Making it's appearance, a monstrous three-headed plant rose to the surface, out of the pool. Two of the three heads were a bit smaller than the main one situated in the center. Each head possessed a mouth filled with sharp teeth with saliva dripping from the corners of their mouths. Making it's grand appearance, it let out an deafening screech before confronting the intruders.

"You're a lot bigger than I imagined you'd be," Midna grinned. The stout little imp floated arrogantly just a distant away from the monstrous deku baba in front of her. She was aware the guardians of this realm, the Light Spirits, sealed away her treasure, but she didn't realize monsters absorbed them. Now it's mutated, and became quite a beast. That's what happened when Light dwellers tampered with powers of the Dark Interlopers. She could only imagine how much such powers corrupted the ignorant beast.

Midna was not phased at the very least of the monster's deafening roar. In order to complete her objective at hand, the beast had to be taken down. There was no getting around it~

Now it was only just a matter of taking the beast down. This was going to take more hands than what she had on her at the moment. Sure, she had power, but it wasn't going to be enough to fully take on a three-headed plant. The little imp needed help.

So guess who finally figured out what his princess was up to? If you guessed Akira... you couldn't have been more right than you were ever wrong. He tailed his princess tirelessly to find the answers he so desperately needed to hear as to what her purpose was infiltrating the Light Realm. His 'ever-so-happy' journey dragged him into the flora and fauna of Faron Woods. From poisonous gases and man-eating plants, one could describe Akira's trip to be quite... thrilling.

Alas, Akira silently admitted, this had to take the cake or so to speak. Icy blue eyes stared at the beast confronting the two twili at hand. His lithe frame tensing up with many troubled thoughts running through his train of thoughts. For one, she could have saved him a lot of stress by just saying she was going to be doing such reckless stunts. At least then he'd be a little more prepared to do what he could for his princess. "You need to learn to trust a little more," the adviser pitched his advice for the day. "My powers are at your disposal."

He quickly pulled out from the rings on each of his fingers metallic strings, wires, out uncoiling at a foot in length. Midna called for help, and she shall receive all that he could provide for her.

All three of Diababa's heads merely stared at it's combatants at hand. The two smaller heads of the beast swayed like a snake, turning back and forth between the small being, and the much larger one. Patiently, it bidden it's time wisely, picking out what would be the better choice between the intruders at hand. Simply for the sake of getting the bigger meal, they turned their attention over to the much larger prey at hand.

The main head within the center of the beast's body merely watched in anticipation. It would do no harm as of yet, wanting to size up their opposition~ The smaller head on the left side of the Twilit Parasite snapped it's jaws together. Without warning, it launched itself straight at Akira, jaws open ready to take a nice chunk out of the twili's flesh.

The other tagging on the right side followed the same route. With snapping jaws, it launched itself for Akira in the same fashion as the first. It's tongue hanging at the side of it's mouth as if ready to lick up the flesh of it's meal.

Well, look who came to the rescue~ Midna was quite pleased to have her favorite Adviser around. Like a loyal servant, he extended his services out for her, which in turn brought a smile across her impish lips. Wonderful! She turned her attention straight over to Diababa, and beamed. "Good. I am going to need them now more than ever, Akira," she replied.

She watched carefully. The small fry heads started attacking, and were going straight for Akira. Perfect~ That would buy her some time to look for it's weakness. She crossed her arms cautiously watching the start of the confrontation. "Ignore the smaller heads. They're a distraction! Keep your eyes on the main one," was her only advice for the moment. The head honcho had something in stored.

ooc note. Just so you know, Midna will not actively take part in the fight, but she will be here to give you advice, and hints~

"As you wish," he complied. Akira watched the creature's movements observing it's movements, and how it was preparing an assault. The first cue he had of an incoming attack was the jaws snapping one after the other of the smaller heads of the mutant parasite. Their attack pattern followed suit thus he acted accordingly. He jumped out of the way of the first head moving to the far right. As the second head came at him rolling in afterward, the twili was sent sprinting, once again out of it's collision course.

Akira listened intently to Midna's warning, and turned to face the center of the body. The much larger head sitting there made no attempt to attack him, thus giving him an opening. Uncoiling his strings, he switched the grappling hooks open before latching them onto the beast's head. Violent vibrations reverberating off of the strings started emanating as a seismic burst exploded onto Diababa's head.

Upon using Sonic Burst, Akira's strings instantly popped off of the plant, and recoiled back into his rings. He waited patiently of the results from the measure of his might...

The monstrous plant could not react fast enough to counter the launch of strings being attached to it's head. It felt the vicious collision of the sound waves escalate off of the wires until a violent explosion burst from thin air.

As the impact hit the monstrosity, the smaller heads of the parasite descended in the depths of the purple fluids in which it's body was soaking in. Diababa let out a bellowing screech in pain as it opened it's mouth. In place of what should be a tongue laid an eyeball disclosed , and staring straight at Akira with intense malice.

Diababa reared it's massive head back as if it was taking a deep breath. In the blink of an eye, it started spitting purple liquids at the twili. Just a single touch of even a drop of the purple fluid was enough to slowly eat away at anything that came in it's path. The waters that flowed in the deep pool was nothing short of poisonous, and could be fatal if touched.

It was far too soon to be celebrating your luck. Midna kept a good eye on the progress at hand. It would appear that her Adviser was pretty capable of handling himself in combat. Still, it was going to take more than just experience in fighting to beat this foe down to a pulp. At least, she was actually enjoying the show from her vantage point so long as he wasn't a complete fool, and get himself killed over the plant. Then pretty much, Midna was having a blast!

A grin formed in amusement noticing an interesting little detail about the monster. Might as well share her discovered knowledge to her adorable assistant. "Did you see the eye in it's mouth? Gross, I know~ Get a hold of that! I'm sure that's it's weakness," she bossed Akira. "Oh yeah, I would watch out for that purple shit it's spitting at you. Just so you know~"

Akira smirked. Short as it may have been he relished in the victorious assault while it lasted. That still didn't change facts that it was short lived, and the monster was up again. His expression returned back to his calm, and collect state peering up at the eyeball attached inside of it's mouth. By attacking the main head, he took out the two smaller heads connected to at the sides. He had to admit when Midna meant business she really meant it, and made this mission almost easy.

Alas just because it lost a few appendages didn't make any less threatening towards the twili. Just as it reared it's ugly head back, it started spitting purple liquids at him. He was going to assume it was poisonous, and reacted accordingly. He dodged the plant's smaller heads all the way to the left side of the forest floor, thus he started moving to the right side. He could feel the mist of the poisnonous waters following right behind him. Just a single touch of it's particles was enough for him to get the picture that the liquids burns like hell fire.

An plan was formed to clamp up the poisonous liquid spitting head. He uncoiled enough wires in his hands, and tied it quickly into a noose. Twirling it like a natural cowboy that he was (not really) he lassoed the metallic wires straight for the mouth of the beast. In an attempt to shut the beast up from shooting any more purple stuff at him, and strangle it to death.

As the twili launched his strings around the beast's mouth, it successfully wrapped around Diababa's mouth, clamping it shut. It was no longer spewing out purple water, but replacing the previous tactic came a new one. Considering the major difference in body sizes, it left one to think just how clever was the adviser the moment it began struggling against the pull of the wires against it's mouth.

It began playing tug-o-war with the twili attempting to pull on the very strings that locked it's mouth in place. Diababa knew that by it's mass, and strength alone, it would start drawing Akira closer, and closer to the waters that filled the purple pool it floated on top of. It was putting up a fierce fight like a bull bucking relentlessly to remove the rider off of it's back in a bull fight.

As the center head began to pull and tug Akira into the waters, the two smaller heads that disappeared earlier have risen from the purple depths. Licking their lips hungrily for a second go, they snapped their mouths as a give away for their next launch of assaults. One after the other, they saw Akira open for attack as he focused his eyes on the center head in their personal battle for who would be dragged first.

Well, it did work. She would admit it was an affective way to shut the creature up. However she wasn't sure her cowboy ad visor thought entirely through with his plan. Now it was fighting for supremacy over the wires, and trying to pull Akira into the waters. She didn't have much to tell him knowing quite well that he could figure out what was coming next. Still, even under the worst of circumstances, her amusement didn't falter in the least. She couldn't resist cracking a joke.

"Giddyup, Akira," she joked. Ride on cowboy~
