Jericho had escaped prison years ago after surrendering himself for his crew; he was a captain that most pirates had heard of back in his day, but the new age knew little of. His glory days had passed him up, and only the older and wiser men knew of Jericho. Once he made his escape, he turned to his old first mate to get his name out there for recruitment- he was well experienced after all.
The only problem with this was the that with his name out and about, the guards would be made aware of him, and Jericho stood out from the norm. Castle Town was the last place he was supposed to go, but he had to, that is where he scheduled the meeting for recruitment- and it wasn't Jack Craven either. In fact, Jericho didn't even know of a Jack Craven, and if Craven knew of Jericho, well that was debatable.
He was supposed to meet with a Captain Harks, and to Jericho's surprise, it was a trap. He was arrested, and by foot was being walked to the castle for further incarceration. They had taken his sword, which required 8 men to even lift before they decided to leave it where it was until further orders. The blade as 600 pounds, and only weightless to Jericho.
They hadn't made it but down the street before Jericho was already planning his escape. He just needed something to pick the locks on his hands.

In this day, and age, information was a vital part of pretty much surviving the race to nabbing the next best thing. Jack had an inkling of knowledge from various resources he took advantage of. Looking into some details of who would be a potential candidate towards his ever growing crew. He was going to need to make accommodations eventually with the sudden growth in numbers he had with his crew. While this small pot of luck brought a smile on his face, he knew it was far too early to begin settling with what he's got.
No sir, he was going to continue down the road of success. With that goal in mind, he strolled casually with his hands in his pockets, humming softly making a cross through the streets of Castle Town. Though what caught his attention, and stopped him in place was the sight of guards escorting what appeared to be a criminal that had been caught. A brow quirked curious as to what was the story behind this man. Under normal circumstances, he probably would have shrugged him aside thinking that it'd suck to be in his shoes, and where he was going at that. Today, he would amuse himself.
When he met eyes with Jericho, he pulled out of his pockets a lock pick, and held it up in front of his chest. A very subtle gesture of assistance. The look in Jack's hazel eyes giving him a signal that he would help him out if he cooperates. "Excuse me, guards," he called their attention. He quickly hid the lock pick underneath his sleeve. The group paused in their tracks, gathering a cluster of glares heading in the blonde's direction for disrupting their pace.
"What is it?" the group leader said impatiently.
"You wouldn't happen to know where I could find the nearest floral shop do you?" he asked with a smile.
"The fuck would we know, can't you see we're escorting a criminal here? Get lost punk!" the guard retaliated. Enraged, the guard stormed through Jack, shoving him to the side along with the rest of the guards. However Jack quickly slid from his sleeve the lock pick, and extended his hand out to Jericho as the guards each moved aside, and ignored Jack completely. A smirk crossed his mouth as he casually turned around, and began strolling very slowly in the opposite direction.

Jericho's eyes caught the twinkle of the small lockpick after locking eyes with Jack- someone he was not familiar with. That didn't matter though, as the small glance and flash of a lockpick was all he needed.
As the situation came about, Jericho remained silent, and when Jack slipped him the lockpick, he gripped a closed fist over it, hiding it from the guards. Once they had made it down the street, Jericho began messing around with the lock, attempting to pick it at a most awkward angle. Finally, though, he was sure he had it, he only needed to remove the cuffs; the only problem was he was completely surrounded.
"Urinate!" He yelled out, with a hard laugh.
"Hahaha! Funny, now shut up before I shove a fairy in your mouth." The Hylian behind him gave him a small nudge, and so Jericho reacted as best he could.
"I'm serious, this ain't gonna hold." Loosening the picked locks around his hands, the guard in front of him turned around, and stared at him. Walking him to some bushes, the guard pulled his pants down and instructed him to pee. Jericho did just that- facing the guard, he urinated on the guard, and broke free of his locks. The Guard jumped back, throwing his hands up and yelling.
Turning and sprinting away while pulling up his pants, Jericho began heading back to his sword, which was the same way Jack was- or as Jericho had mentally dubbed him, Blondy. He would have to get there quick, and keep to the alleyways, which was exactly what he did, staying parallel to the original road he was on.

Jack shoved his hands in his pockets. Patient as an ox, he hummed a soft tune waiting for a cue of sorts to begin running. The hybrid started counting down from thirty whilst casually minding his own business. A content smile showing the lack of care in the world all to keep his wits about him. Sure, he had some doubt if it was the smartest idea to help out a captured criminal, but it was obviously too late for second thoughts now. He could only hope this was the person he was looking for.
The sound of the guards yell served as his cue. Hazel eyes lit up with delight as he chuckled softly. "Three... two... one," before he could count zero, Jack started sprinting right along side Jericho. "Thought you might need some help there, friend." The duo tailed the alleyways unsure of where it was that Jericho was leading them but it wouldn't hurt to follow for now. Jack trusted the newly escapee that he knew where he was going.
In the mean time he was observing the criminal on hand. He did fit the profile, but was he the real deal? A captain who was once at the peak of his prime... from another time. Surely with such experience it would become an invaluable asset toward his crew upon the Sparrow.
"Better make haste. Guards are on the move," he grinned. He actually liked the attention in a sort of demented way. Always nice to know you're wanted, didn't you agree?

Jericho met up with the mysterious man, who so far aided him no reasoning. He wasn't stupid though- these things always came at a price. Now was not the time to discuss this though, they had three knights behind them, and as they came up through the alleyways and neared the sword, there were two guards standing over it. They must of pulled them in while taking Jericho to the Castle.
"That they are. Names Jericho..." He halted in the alleyway, standing still for a few moments and checking their back. No Knights yet. He was unarmed, and he needed his sword more than anything.
"Watch the back?" It was, for the most part, a question that he didn't really think was meant to be answered. If Jack didn't watch the back, they could get surrounded, and Craven was already in this for the long run the minute he ran alongside Jericho.
Sprinting forth, he came up to the two guards who were momentarily confused by the fact that the previously apprehended criminal was charging at them. The one closest did not hesitate however, and drew his sword, attempting to slash horizontally at Jericho. The pirate had moved in to quickly however, and zeroed in on the Knight, grabbing his arm before it had even extended into the full motion of the slash. Wrapping his arm around it, he pulled back, and broke the arm with a single motion. The other drew his sword and came at Jericho, which was futile.
Dodging the attack with a simple roll, he grabbed his sword and lifted it with pure ease. The Knight lifted his shield, the other on the ground yelling in pain and shock. Hopefully no Knights had approached from Craven's side yet.

It went without saying that Jack did have ulterior motive behind his aid. Though he trust that Jericho would see the benefits behind those said motives. He didn't like the concept of old criminals who served their time be put back in jail for no legitimate reason. Everyone was entitled to living their life the way they wanted thus the hybrid concluded that this was an act of being a good sport.
"Craven. Captain Jack Craven, at your service," he replied. Their travels came to abrupt halt as a massive weapon guarded by two soldiers came into view. So that's what Jericho was looking for. A wry grin formed as he turned around, and saw a horde of guards coming their way. It would seem that the fans were growing in numbers by the second. He didn't have enough paper to send out his autograph to everyone of them.
Suddenly, a wind came and picked up by unnatural means. Jack closed his eyes and allowed the air to violently whiplash about until it became transparent, clear but very much visible. Manipulating the wind, he sent it out over to a corner, where a stack of barrels were laid tied by a rope. The wind was strong enough to slash the rope. The barrels came tumbling down one by one from it's stand, and began pummeling down the soldiers.
"We're on a roll," he chuckled at his pun.
