It was a day of sunshine and other shiny things to Lucas as he ran around in the busy streets of Castletown. He had an unmasked happy grin plastered on his face as if he had just received a gigantic lollipop from a random salesmen. He was practically jumping off the walls as he sprinted throughout the town.
He was at a new place of wonder and joy. The happy street vendors who had said such nice things to him were now among his large circle of friends. They were spouting wise teachings to him such as; 'Get lost kid' and 'Get your grubby paws away from my masks!'. It felt good to make new friends, he would try to visit them every day if he could so they wouldn't feel lonely. Yup, he was a nice person.
His sprinting came to a sudden halt as he rammed into something. "Oof." He had landed flat on his back in an instant. His eyes were slightly blurred as he gazed upon shiny silver metal in awe.
This was so cool. A real life knight. There was one thing in his mind at the moment. *I'm going to become a knight*. He grinned deeply and jumped back onto his feet.
"Hi Mister! I'm Lucas. Whats your name!? Whats your favorite color?! Is being a knight fun?! Your my new best friend! Can you count to three?! I can! How long have you been a knight?! Where do babies come from?!
Lucas paused and began to pant. Hopefully he would make a new friend.

The shiny knight had decided to do patrol of the town today. Seayn didn't really have to perform such menial duties but he hoped that his presence might show that he wasn't just another man behind a desk. There had seemed to have been some mild disturbance earlier, vendors making a commotion but it seemed to be just that some small child had been visiting them all. Nothing as bad as they would make it seem like. Despite that fact, the young man hadn't been able to catch this small vagrant so he had decided to simply stop and stand, keeping his eye on the crowd.
As fate would have it, Lucas then ran into Seayn, falling down. The human turned, bending down to help the boy to his feet only to find himself swarmed with questions. He tilted his head curiously at the energetic young boy, waiting until he was done before he spoke. "So you're the mischief maker, eh? No matter. I am Seayn, my favorite color is red, being a knight isn't about fun. One, two, three. Not long. And that's not a discussion we're going to have. Where are your parents?" The knight said to what appeared to be a young boy. He didn't want to make the child feel as if he was talking down to him so he made sure to answer every question.

Lucas eyes shined at the sight of the tall man in towering in front of him. So cool. He wanted to be just like him when he grew up...wait Kokiri didn't grow up...oh well. In Lucas's eyes he saw a great adventurer without weakness or pain. He had a huge grin plastered on his face as he listened to the man.
Lucas tilted his head curiously at the sound of a new word, 'Parents'.' "What is a Par-ent, Mister Shiny, can you eat it?" A few seconds later he began to jump up and down happily, assuming he figured out the definition. "I want a parent! I want a parent! Can you buy me one Mister Shiny?"

Seayn didn't quite understand why this boy was staring at him with such a large grin. It was oddly disturbing, although he doubted that the boy had anything going through his mind other than oooh, shiny at the moment. Although his lack of the knowledge of what the word parents meant was strange. Most orphans dreamed about the day that their parents would show up, making it a word engraved in their vocabulary. Nor did a child with parents lack the knowledge of the word, so this boy must just be joking. I can't buy you parents. It doesn't work that way. Where did you come from?""
The knight looked around the crowd, attempting to find a man and woman with similar features to the bouncing young lad. He kept glancing at Lucas to refresh his memory of his appearance. It didn't make sense that he would be running around this town unless he lived here yet he didn't seem to be familiar with people wearing armor, a common occurrence here. He glanced down, searching for some clue as to this boy's origin, the green tunic ringing a faint alarm in his head.

Lucas was overjoyed of having a good friend like Mister Shiny, it felt so refreshing to have yet another amazing friend. He was so shiny and kind and shiny. He wished everybody was like him. Mister Shiny asked him a question, looking as shiny as ever. It took a few seconds for seayn's question to register in his mind, and the gears began to turn in his hyperactive brain. Where did he come from? Hmmmmm. Maybe pelicans? Ya, pelicans sounded right, they dropped every small child from a bag and into the forest.
"I think I came from Pelicans, Mister Shiny." He rubbed the back of his head and grinned once again. He recalled something a wise man once said. The early bird gets the deku stick. Or something like that, he wasn't really paying attention, but he was sure it was correct.

The boy came from pelicans? Like that old tale that people used to tell children to divert the awkward talk of where children came from. Seayn was rather unsure of what was happening here but he kept up his calm patient exterior as he spoke to this child. He shook his head, trying to imagine what this strange little boy was doing out here on the market by himself. The young knight had already decided that he was going to stick with this kid until he escorted him home.
"Where do you live then? And what's your name?" Seayn said, staring down at Lucas. He knew that this was going to be quite the task to get this boy to focus on anything for more than a few seconds and even then it would have to be shiny to keep him paying attention for that long.

Seayn stared down at him clearly expectant of an answer of some sort. Lucas blanked out for a few seconds, distracted by a butterfly flying around, but returned his carefree gaze back to Seayn. Images of the Sacred grove filled his mind. Ah yes, the Sacred Grove, his wondrous place of dwelling. Ironically enough it was one of the few places that he didn't get himself lost. The endless games and competitive competitions of tree climbing always filled him with laughter.
"I'm Lucas of course! Silly Mister Shiny. Oh and just so you know I live in the really, really green place with these awesome things called trees! Have you ever seen a tree Mister Shiny? Did you know you can climb them too? It so fun! Did you know trees grow in the ground? Its so awesome that something can grow into something so huge, and start out so small!"
Lucas continued his long string of questions for a while until he was once again panting for breath...
