This unnatural magnetic pull that had the twili woman moving in it's direction since her closure with the little farm boy a while back. Her plans will soon move into action, and it was only a matter of time before she had the Interloper's power back in her hands. Soon Midna found herself within the secluded parts of Faron otherwise known as the Sacred Grove. Particularly one of the corners of the forest where the children, and the fairies pay no heed toward.
A place for wandering spirits who lost their way have found a form of purgatory. It was quite a peculiar sight to see given the only spirits she knew of were actual mortal souls who get lost for eternity in the Twilight. History stands as it is some of the most sinister criminals, and those who've committed atrocious acts against the laws of Hyrule were banished to the mirror of Twilight, where they're stripped of their forms, and become nothing more than hapless balls of light. Remnants of what they were in this realm~
Still, it was unusual to see such a heavy concentration of spirits in one place. Surely, it wasn't the will of each individual to come here of all places to find solace in such a limbo? However it honestly wasn't her place nor within her range of care to judge what are the actions of those who lived their lives.
Perhaps it was the tranquility that exhaled through the atmosphere. These were the parts of the forest she knew nothing about. The closest information she knew of the Sacred Grove were all of the lore, and myths behind them. How the children of the forest play songs of old, and the skull kids harass the hell out of wanderers who cross their turfs. There was more to it, but she didn't care much to going into all of the details humans made up over the years~[/style] |

The spirits present in this nick of the woods were quite a mix. Souls of men good and evil alike mingled and intertwined, lost in the life after death and many unsorted by those who governed spirits upon their demise. Some didn't know what to do, some didn't like what they had to, and some were just following the crowd. The high amount of them was due to a mix of reasons, but they came to an area that felt...comforting. The Sacred Grove was a spiritually powerful place, a home of many and a place of great power. It held many mysteries and few traversed it, making it an ideal place for people both living and dead to hide in. For the Twili, it was a curiosity, but for one present, it was another day.
Materializing in the air not far behind Midna was a man, vicious red eyes letting out a natural glare in her direction. The Undertaker, once again, was in his casual attire, black coat over white shirt, with the white sleeves sticking out just a little bit from the end of the jacket. His black shoes lightly crunched the grass beneath him, those around it lightly touching the ends of his black slacks, both of his hands in his pockets. He had a slightly amused smirk on his face as he examined the back of the Twili. He was here not for the spirits, but for her. He had heard the leader of the Twili was a woman, and everything he knew pointed to finding her here at this particular moment. It seemed that he was right.
"Welcome to the land of life and death, Interloper," Elohim spoke out to her, his inherent arrogance blatant in his tone and only enforcing the condescending nature of his words. He was speaking down to her and he knew it; hell, that's what he wanted to do. This woman had stepped out of her given place and was intruding upon a land not her own, so she had no right or power in this realm. He, on the other hand, held all the cards, and he would not hesitate to make that clear.
"Or is the correct term 'Twili' now, woman?" he added onto himself, driving the point home. He intended to figure out the deal with this woman, and playing the right cards would encourage her to stick around one way or another.

She could almost feel the stab of his glare behind her back. She turned around casually to meet a pair of matching crimson eyes such as herself. The only thing that set them apart was that Midna was still among living.
Meaning she noticed right away that this man was also a spirit, but what set him apart from the spectacle before her was the amount of spiritual energy he emitted alone. He was obviously someone of importance, or perhaps someone from another life who held such a status. Or maybe even both.
Hell, would she know~ Nonetheless, Elohim's gracious welcome wouldn't go unnoticed by the Twilight Princess. A warm welcome was definitely an overstatement especially coming from none other than the Undertaker himself. With a superiority complex that could tickle Zant pink on a Saturday night~
What a way to leave the first impression. Still, she returned the smirk curious as to what brought such a noble phantom her merry way. Especially one who knew of her origins, and by now, what her people were called this day, and age. "Indeed," she replied, "I didn't expect to find someone in this realm to figure out so quickly. I commend you~ You may call me Midna." Though she supposed if someone had to know then they might as well be dead. Only people who could keep secrets, what with the whole dead man tell no tale, and all.
"So what do I owe the pleasure?"[/style] |

The dead were indeed full of secrets, both their own and of others. Many of them held secret lives, lives unknown to those of the current day, while others died keeping information hidden. Secrets and the dead were almost synonymous in some cases, and Elohim himself was no exception. His actual life remained unknown to virtually all in the current era, as he was recorded in no books and no evidence of his tribe remained. It took but a century for them to fade from history, but that did not mean they were forgotten. No, his tribe would remain immortal in the memories of Elohim himself. In a way, this made the dead also the keepers of the secret of immortality. Life beyond death, an eternal existence so long as you were permitted, where any knowledge you possess is immortalized for as long as you are. Elohim viewed this as a gift of his, to be able to immortalize any knowledge he saw fit. Not many could do what he could, after all.
"Do not compare me with these pathetic mongrels, woman. Nothing escapes the eyes of a true king, and your presence is no exception," he scoffed, tossing his head back a little bit before righting it to return to glaring at her. In that statement, he had insulted the entire world, the very creation of the Goddesses and those who inhabited it. Then again, Elohim was on equal standing with the Goddesses in his mind, if not greater. After all, while the Goddesses were divine, Elohim took the burden of the world on his shoulders. Governing the end of all things in the world wasn't an easy task, and it was one not even the Goddesses could do. That was the task of the Undertaker, and so Elohim was a man-turned-god.
"The pleasure is yours. I've taken the time to greet you personally, so be thankful. Now, explain the presence of your kind now after all these years," Elohim didn't intend to beat around the bush on this one. He wanted answers as to why the Twili were around, so he didn't have any major enigmas floating around. He wasn't really up to anything in particular, but it was his kingdom, after all. As such, he had to keep track of everything that happened so he could make sure things run smoothly. It didn't mean he'd make it peaceful, oh goddesses no. He was well aware that people could not be happy without sacrifice. He just intended to make sure nothing shook the foundations.
"No running off into the shadows, or I will end your miserable exile life here and now."

Just who was he talking about again? She was going to assume the living. Arrogant ego-trip overload aside she had quite a predicament on her hands. It was far too soon in the game for anyone to be learning secrets, and with that surmount of knowledge being demanded from her here, and now was a major inconvenience. Now that her cover was blown, at least, she had to be assured that he was one of the few who knew. The other being none other than Princess Zelda herself.
Using her telekinetic powers, she lifted herself up casually and placed herself perched in a sitting position. Her supercilious smirk upon her dark lips flashed a pair of fanged canines. Deep scarlet eyes confronting the ruler of the dead. "It is the power of my ancestors I seek," she explained quite simply, "Power that was long ago sealed away by your realm's guardians, by those you call in this plane, the Light Spirits."
The Fused Shadow that the Dark Interlopers attempted to use during the creation of Hyrule. Shattered into three fragments scattered across Hyrule, and sealed away in the Light Spirits respectful locations. A powerful relic that corrupted anything that came within contact of it's power. Only those who carried the bloodline of the exiled race could wield this ancient treasure. The very symbol of complete sovereignty over the world of the Twilight.
"My intentions are but a simple one. I am only here for the Fused Shadow pieces," she said as a matter-of-fact. She cared little of this world to begin thinking of their political affairs. Foolish creatures of the Light Realm over the years have tampered with her powers, and in turn made monsters out of themselves. All that mattered at the present was extracting them from the sealed beasts, and retrieving her ancestor's power.[/style] |

The Fused Shadow, eh? Elohim knew a few things about it, and the fact this woman sought them made sense. The Interlopers used it during their attempt to take over this realm, and when they failed, it was broken and sealed away in this realm. This was long ago, long before even he was alive in fact. They were things hidden in the realm of Light, and as such, they were no longer the 'true' possessions of the Interlopers. They failed, lost the Fused Shadow, and now they belonged in this realm. As such, they were now naturally his. To that end, this woman was trying to rob him, and under normal circumstances, he would simply kill her here to keep that from happening.
However, he thought that if this progressed, it would be interesting.
"Really now, you're after those old things?" Elohim's mouth curved upward a little bit to show his amusement at this point, "You're behind on the times. Certainly, monsters are made of those who hold them, but they're weak. Nobody truly cares about those fragments of history anymore. Seeking them just shows how much fools cling to the past."
He gave a light shrug at this point, as if to say 'not that it matters'. He knew this woman would continue her quest anyway, as she was obviously a fool to even begin hunting for them. If his belief was true, however, this woman's struggle would be entertaining. All else failed, it'd offer him a proper glimpse into the minds of those from the realm of Twilight, to see if it was any more interesting than this realm. If so, then he'd probably go see about paying them a visit and taking over. This is all a possibility though; it depended on this woman's actions to prove if the Twili were any more interesting.
"Let us hope the ruler of your kind is not as much a fool as you, or the Interlopers are certainly doomed for failure just as they failed ages ago."
