Young Elder (to Gorons)
PERSONALITY,Rukon is a very loyal person, the kind of guy who’d do anything for his friends and family, and if anyone tries to harm them, then that person is going to up having a seriously bad day. Rukon is a great person to have as a friend; he’s kind, caring, and fun loving, abit too protective at times(but what great friend isn't?), and never the kind of person to shy away from others. Sometimes he can be a bit too nice though, enough to get on someone’s nerves. This happens quite often when he tries to help people, often going above and beyond what they people expect, he just doesn’t know when to stop.
Rukon is quite possibly the most reliable person you’ll ever meet, he’ll always tell you the truth, even though it may hurt, and when he makes a promise he keeps it. He’s always been this way, and expects others to be the same way towards him, but he realizes that things aren’t always going to work out how he wants them. Rukon always thought that the expression, “I trust you as far as I can throw you” was a strange expression for a goron to use. True, it pretty much went the same way for any goron, they immediately trusted everyone, and considering the fact that they can the throw most people pretty far…
Rukon is a fighter, he loves the rush of being in battle with a strong opponent, someone who can push him farther than he’s ever been pushed before, but as a goron, Rukon isn’t a killer, he fights for honor, to prove his strength, and would much rather incapacitate someone. For a goron, Rukon is actually a pretty good fighter; he prides himself on having better fighting skill than most others, and is willing to take on any challenger. Another thing Rukon does try to avoid is fighting women…It’s not that he thinks they are all weaker than men or anything like that, but it’s just the way he’s been raised. A woman would probably have to rough him up a bit before he actually started fighting her seriously. You shouldn’t try to take advantage of this though…or there’s a chance that things might not end well.
One thing that’s pretty dangerous about being around Rukon is the fact that he’s so curious, he always wants to learn new things, which means he’ll go to the greatest lengths to learn new things. This also means he’s willing going to the most dangerous places... Just to learn about the beasts that live there….and probably gets in a few fights in the meanwhile. Rukon's curiosity also translates into a form a courage, as he never fears the unknown, rather he respects it and wants to learn more about it.
While Rukon hasn’t been to that many places he plans on visiting so many its ridiculous…he's got a lot to learn and nothing but time.
For a Goron, Rukon is pretty smart... This is probably because he spends so much time studying; one special area of interest of his is the customs of Ancient Goron Tribes. He is intrigued by the ways of these Ancient Gorons, because he believes them to have been great warriors. Recently, Rukon came across a book that documents the meaning of tattoos that his tribe wears; he believes that this will lead help him lead his tribe to unlock potential that hasn’t been seen from the goron race in ages.
Rukon has always wanted to be an elder, but as a child he was told that he was too arrogant. He took the advise to heart and now he's one of the most humble people you'll meet, sometimes this can actuallty piss off arrogant people, but he really doesn't give a damn. He more an, "Actions speak louder than words kind of guy." After he's become more comfortable around a person, he'll open up though, and that's about the time you'll wonder how you could ever stand being around him.
APPEARANCE,Rukon's body structure is a bit different than that of other gorons, he's actually very tall, standing at about nine feet and 5 inches. He's his body is different because of the fact that he isn't fat like othe gorons, rather his body is much more dense, he is tall and skinny for a goron.
Rukon's face looks more like a goblin's than a goron's, and people haven't been afraid to tell him that, though he does not care. His white hair is braided up all the way back to a ponytail, with eton blue bands tied through it, regarless, some of his hair still manages to fall to his shouders.
There are tattoos all over Rukon's upper body. These can been seen on his arms, shooulders, chest, and even his face although, there is nothing on his stomach area. The tattoos on his arms a partially covered up by the beige armbands he wears, which never seem to come off. The tattoos on his chest, and shoulders are partially covered by the leather straps he wears across his chest in the shape of an "x".
Around Rukon's waist, there is a royal purple loincloth that is wrapped around his waist twice, and though it covers his pelvic area and rear-end, he still insists on wearing pants. These pants are dusty brown and have teal tribal symbols down the legs. Rukon's shins have shinguards on them, which are wrapped by two orange cloths, each about two feet long, and he always wears sandals, not because he needs to, but he feels it makes him seem more presentable.
One thing that is a bit strange about Rukon, is that when he assumes his boulder form, his body shifts and his size is the same as that of any other Gorons.
WEAPONS,Dodogo Breaker: This is Rukon’s hammer, while it was actually a mining hammer, Rukon began using it to crush the heads of Dodongos, eventually it wore out, so Rukon took it to Biggoron, who reforged it with a more durable ore. While it looks like it's made out of hard wood, it's actually as strong as any metal.
ITEMS,Book of Symbols: This is a book that Rukon recently found, while it is written in a language simlilar to that of his own people, he has not been able to find anyone who can decipher it as of yet. It is filled with the symbols that make up the tribal tattoes that his race wears, as well as symbols he has never see before.
Lieutenant Slot Level One: Tattoo of the Clear Mind: This tattoo is the one that is located on Rukon's face, this allows Rukon to heighten his ability as a goron to sense ones intentions, it also allows him to see through illusions that may possibly cause him harm. This ability makes it easy to see when someone is lying to him, or when one has bad intentions.
Slot Two Level One: Tattoo of the Protector(Passive)
This is the Tattoo that is on Rukon's Chest. It allows him to block any type of attack that is directed at an ally, and allows him to effectively halve it's damage.
This is a passive ability.
ABILITIES,Slot Three, Level One: Living Boulder Rampage
Rukon can curl up into a ball of hardened rock and charge at his oppenents. While in this form, Rukon can roll up to thirty-five miles per hour, and most types of melee damage are deflected, in fact, unless someone has a signicant strength upgrade (x10) they won't be able to do much to it. It is unknown how a goron can still see in this form, though it is known that they can, and while they are quite fast in this form, they can only make wide changes in direction. Magic attacks will has more more of an effect than melee attacks, but the effects will still lowered slightly. Any kind of magic that encourages brute force will have about the same effect as a melee attack. Getting his by a 500 pound boulder moving at thirty five miles an hour is pretty dangerous.
This ability is not only used for battle, but it is often used to get around quickly. Since most animals cannot handle the weight of a goron on their backs, this is how they get where they need to go quickly.

Level 1 - Fire damage is reduced by 25%
HISTORY,
As long as he could remember, the only family Rukon had been his father. The man was a very violent person; he always got into fights, and never backed down from a challenge, he was known as “Brawluf the Great”, as he had only ever lost a battle to the elders of the tribe. He was the kind of father who wanted his son to be a powerful warrior just like him one day, a name that most would respect, and some would even fear. This why, at the age of five, Rukon began training in the ways of the warrior, he didn’t have many friends, though this was not because of the fact that people did not like him, in fact most people seemed to gravitate around him, though he never really had time for anyone else. After all the training that Rukon had been through with his father, it was only natural that Rukon wanted to become an Elder of his tribe, they were not only known as some of the strongest goron warriors around, but it was their responsibility to protect the tribe, a cause that Rukon had always found to be noble.
By the time Rukon turned eighteen, he had become much like his father, he had beaten everyone in his tribe that was his age, and was very arrogant. His father hadn’t taught him much about respect, as respect was only given to the people who were stronger than you, or the people who could do something for you, but when he was denied application to the station of elder, he was humbled greatly. He was not denied because of his age, for age was not a major factor in becoming a leader of the tribe. Wisdom was a mandatory quality, though even goron elders can learn a thing or two. Rukon was denied because he had become selfish and arrogant, he was too hungry for battle, and not worried about anything else.
After his denial, Rukon left home for four years, and in that time, he did not return once, he spent this time soul searching, and learning about the world. While Rukon still stuck to his training schedule, reading became a passion of his, and between the two, very little time was afforded for sleep, he had to learn everything he could… Rukon had to teach himself how to be more humble, kind and caring towards others, and during his time away from home he realized that no one is greater than any other person in more than a few ways, and that everyone is better than someone else at something. Rukon learned that fighting wasn’t the only way to prove strength, and that being strong in other ways could help even more than being strong with your fists.
After Rukon returned home, he was welcomed with open arms, though he was scolded for leaving so long, people were happy to see him, and he was happy to see them. Rukon was happy to share the thing that he had learn about the world, and to tell about the many wonders that he had seen, and the people of his tribe were all too eager to listen. This made Rukon happy, for the first time in his life; his joy wasn’t coming from beating someone into the ground. After talking with the Elders about the things he had learned, they agreed to make him an elder, though he would still be treated as a younger goron, it would allow him to get the feel of what it was like to become a full fledged elder.
EXTRAS,
