Jack settled the Sparrow quietly downstream of Zora's River nearby. After carefully camoflauging his beauty with the surrounding environment he set off on an adventure of sorts. Actually it was more of a hunt than it was adventuring. The river itself had a current so strong that it could sweep anyone off into the distance with a force only the zoran people themselves could withstand. He kept his wits about him not to take the river with a grain of salt.
The pathway towards Zora's Domain was paved with slippery slopes as Jack kept his guard up. Upon the surface he appeared calm, and content, but his mind was working the gears making sure he didn't make a fatal mistake. One wrong move, and it was into the river. Hazel eyes scanned the area taking in the scenery from his vantage point. It really was a peaceful river to relax by, but he didn't have time to kill at the moment.
Point at hand, he was searching for potential crewmates. Now you might ask why would he find potential mates in the middle of the river? He's met a bunch of interesting folk in the most peculiar places so he's trusting his intuition again. He had a fortunate streak of luck lately so here's to hoping lady luck was still on his side.

Did Aya ever mentioned how much she didn't like water? Well, she did. A lot. Like ridiculously a lot, alot. Along with being graceless, inelegant, and the most unlady-like fairy in existence, Ayameru Crossfire didn't know how to swim. So being near the a river got her on the edge of paranoia.
She shifted her eyes from left to right nervously making sure she was good. You could imagine what was going through her mind as she tensed up immensely at her lack of security. Her happy place was far away, off in the distance, in the big blue skies.
At least she wasn't alone this time around. Ani was never far off from her side so at least it brought some comfort to the redhead. She didn't know the whole reason behind it but there was something interesting over by the Zora territory that they felt compelled to go see it. Or perhaps it was the tourist traps near the heart of the river? She had completely forgotten why they were here. She was a little nervous at the moment to think straight!
She paced herself slowly with one foot in front of the other. She almost jumped when she nearly slipped on one of the slippery surface. "I hate water..." she whined like a child.

Oh, it was so exciting to see all of these different sights and scenery~! The Sacred Grove was very pretty, but there were only trees as far as the eyes could see. A little boring as time went on, and she was so happy that her sister and her had set off for adventure. Ani would admit that she did miss her parents and older sisters a little, but the excitement and elation of traveling dampened the longing for the most part. Not to mention the knew prey that fell easily enough to her quick hands. So many trinkets had been gathered from the Festival, and Ani had even been lucky enough to pilfer very valuable rupees. It was alarming how stupid many people were in wearing so much jewelry and carrying so much money in public. It did not cause her to feel guilty, because many of those people had enough to spare. It fed herself and her twin, so she was content. If only her twin could be as content in this moment, but the water scared her more than anything at the moment.
"You don't hate water when you take so long in the bath," she teased with a grin. Giggling brightly, she walked backward ahead of her twin. They were walking near the edge of the deep river, but Ani kept more calm than her sister. Confidence went a long way when facing something feared. She could not swim overly well, and so she held a fear toward it like her twin, but she was better at controlling it. Poor Aya always got worked up so easily, and so she skipped to her sister's side with a smile. "You should stop thinking about it so much, Aya~! Just pretend you're walking on a tightrope! It works for me," she chirped. Ani proceeded to skip back in front of Aya, walking backwards again with perfect precision along the bank of the river and the ground.
It was so much fun~!

Well, well, well, he smiled, What do we have here?
From his vantage point he saw a couple of young ladies traveling upstream his way too. Now what would a bunch of young girls such as themselves be doing all the way out here? The girls shared entirely contrasting features. The dominant, and most obvious traits were the pigments in their hairs. One carried the shade of pure white snow like clouds on a sunny afternoon. The other trailing behind shared an affinity of fire or so to speak with burning crimson locks.
Upon closer inspection, Jack was actually surprised to see that the girls actually shared the same facial features despite their contrasting colors. Twins? Now that was an interesting sight. Still, they appeared to be minding their business, but by now he probably caught their attention with being up ahead. He waved a small greeting before minding along the path. "Watch your step, ladies," he gave a friendly warning out to the girls.
It would have been a shame to if any of the girls got hurt. He did worry for the youth of this generation. They all appeared so young to be so far out from home, and adventuring on their own like that. Oh gods, he was talking like an old man. Better stop that now before the habit set in. Now... onward to business. Serious business at that.

There was no doubt about it Aya absolutely loved seeing Hyrule together with her sister. Their methods of getting around with travel expenses, and keeping their stomachs full were probably not the most acceptable ways, but fairies had to survive too, you know! Aya did question Ani when she got back from the Festival as to how she ended up with so much items on hand.
Yes, it provided them plenty of substantial provisions to getting back to their traveling lifestyle. Was it right? Probably not. It did worry her a bit of her twin's kleptomania, but she couldn't be entirely upset with Ani over it. In her eyes, the crimson fairy saw no wrongs or fatal flaws in her snow white sister.
Still, she did hit a sore spot when taking a shot at how Aya took so long in the bath. A bead of sweat formed on her temple as she released a nervous giggle. Fine, she had a point. Ayameru loved bathing periods, but all not once does she dip her face underwater! The redhead just dropped it as a victory point for Ani.
Suddenly a voice, male, came out of nowhere. Aya twitched a brow turning her fiery gaze on over to a finely dressed gent. A frown formed upon her slender lips not comfortable with his friendliness. "Save it for yourself, pretty boy!" she spat before turning her head away with a huff. "We're perfectly fine. What the hell do we have to worry about? If anything happens we can just fly, duh... -
She was cut off of her tangent, and let her guard down. The rest of the events all happened in a sort of slow motion effect. Aya's vision was suddenly flipped sideways, and then she was falling. The next thing she new she was sinking rapidly with a biting icy sensation devouring her whole being. She slipped, and fell into the river despite the warnings she was given earlier.
Talk about karma.
Her first reaction was panic, but then she realized she was choking. She tried resurfacing to grab air, but the currents were too strong for her. She was tossed, and pulled around against Zora River's heavy stream.

Ani was quite pleased that her tease had hit the mark, and she merely giggled cheerfully as no retort was aimed her way. Another point for her~! Ooooh, who did that mean was winning now? Since Aya hardly every made fun of her if she could help it, then Ani was the indisputable winner! In her mind she was doing a victory dance, but she merely grinned in amusement at her twin. It was adorable at how easily her sister could be riled up, and Ani was so, so glad that she never fell victim to those vicious temper tantrums her sister had the tendency of throwing. Even she could be a little scared of Aya at times, but she still loved her sister to death. Temper of doom and all~! Just as Aya did not mind her tendency to steal anything shiny. Ani glanced around just in case she had missed anything of worth for taking. At least here it was free, right? It was not stealing if found in a natural environment.
A sudden voice stirred her from her musing, and she turned crimson eyes upward. The sudden appearance of the brunette male was surprising, but Ani merely waved back excitedly. "We're fine~! It's even more fun walking backwards," she called back with a wicked smile. She was currently walking that way at the moment, but was more surprised at Aya's violent words. Usually her twin did not get cross that quickly, but her fear turned wild when her twin suddenly lost her footing in the middle of her words. She shrieked in surprise, reaching out to grab for her falling sister. Oh, Goddesses, no! Aya could not swim at all, and Ani was so useless at swimming! Burning crimson eyes turned to the stranger, her own temper now flaring in rage and fear at him for disturbing them and causing her sister to stumble.
"HELP ME SAVE HER NOW!" she yelled. Ani took off along the riverbank, horrified that her sister was being dunked in and out of the currents of the river. "Aya, don't fight the current! Just let it carry you!" she shouted. There was no way that her twin would hear her over the water, and so Ani unveiled her wings and shot after her over the river. Ani would rather drown than stand back and do nothing, and so she flew after her sister with her hands outstretched for her twin to grab. It was a stupid decision, because Aya's weight would only pull her in, but maybe she could drag her to the bank! She had enough strength to do that.

Jack chuckled. The red one was certainly a fiery spirited young lady, and not to mention a temper to go along with it. That was a first for him - getting the cold shoulder like that, but he supposed she was going through that stage of rebellion. Adolescence was such a wonderful time to be young, and wild... The white one, on the other hand, was a sweetheart to boot. He was content that at least one of them was nice enough to assure him they were fine.
That is until the redhead slipped and fell.
Oh dear. Did he or did he not just get done saying to be careful? A brow arched up. Jack stared with a deadpan look as he watched all play out like a cenimatic scene in a movie. He didn't want to say he told her so... but he did.
"... and now I'm suppose to feel guilty, and save her," he sighed. Not that he didn't already feel bad that it happened, but when Delanie gave him a that look. He supposed she was accusing him of having this happen to Ayameru in the first place. Oh well, it happened, and it meant he had to do something about it.
"Stay with her!" he commanded, "I'll find her easier that way. Hold on!" The hybrid dove into the river using the down stream currents to pull him towards the drowning fairy. Using it's natural flow he resurfaced much easier, and took a glance to where the fairy was floating. That would be where the redhead was. He picked up pace catching up with the girls before catching his breath diving underwater.
It wasn't long before he saw a stream of red flare up in his sight. He pulled himself deeper into the river extending his hand out to reach for Ayameru's hand. When he caught her in his grasp, Jack used all of his stregnth to pull both himself, and the girl up to the surface. He was worried. She didn't show any signs of further struggle against the waters. Shit! He cursed mentally. Don't die on me now. I won't hear the end of it.
He did not want to be convicted of manslaughter. He popped up to the surface, finally able to breathe, with the girl in his arms. "Got her," he said breathily. He held her up as best as he could to show the other twin she was back up. Not long after did he began wading the waters to get back to the river bank...

Aya - for the most part - was completely dumbfounded that she fell like that. How could she have been so stupid? Even she had more sense than that little blunder! She was beating herself all over that. Now she was going to die of her own stupidity. Maybe it shouldn't have been a surprise to her, meaning, she should have expected that her reckless nature would one day become her undoing? Not like she needed another reprimanding for her brash attitude or nasty temper. She had enough of that before she stormed out of the Crossfire house.
Looking up from underwater, she saw what appeared to be her sister's image floating above the water. She couldn't make out what Ani was yelling - what with the sound barrier blocking her hearing. Water filled up in her nose stinging violently within her senses. She couldn't breathe!
Shit, everything's getting blurry, she whimpered mentally. Her lungs were constricting her chest no longer capable of holding her breath. She let out what air she had out from her lungs before darkness wrapped around her vision completely. It was cold, but she had no strength to shiver, to wrap her arms around her small frame. Her body slowly started sinking to the depths of the river losing what hope she had of seeing the light of the day.
Knocked out, and slowly choking to death, Aya couldn't feel the strength of the man's hand as he took hers. She was but a drenched doll limp in his care as they ascended the surface. Water still made it's way through her air holes, and she was still choking from taking in water. Her state of mind was lost in the state of limbo. Aya was all alone...
She tried to scream, but her voice was gone. She wanted to lash out violently, and lay what came in her path to waste in flames. Then the very flames that burned inside were put out, and replaced with an agonizingly revelation that she was close to death...
She didn't want to die. No, not this way! Not now.

Ani would die if anything happened to her twin sister, and she would destroy the entire world if Aya died on her. Her heart had seized the moment she had fallen into the water, and she could only trust in the man that had dove in after her. It was all her fault! Oh, Goddesses, she knew she should have kept a closer eye on her twin, and she should have insisted they stay away from the edge of the river. Neither of them could swim, and Ani would never, ever forgive herself if anything happened. She hovered over the water, her fear growing each moment that her sister stayed under the currents of the river. Ani had to follow after, because then the man would know where Aya was as he swam toward her. Her sister was drowning, and all she was doing was acting like a flying marker of her grave site! A hysterical laugh escaped her, and she continued to fly after the red blur that her sister made beneath the water.
Save her, save her! Ani nearly cried in relief as the man suddenly breached the surface with her limp twin in his grasp. Ani could instantly see that her sister was not breathing, and the relief gave way to panic all over again. She soon dove after the man, and she soon was pulling the two of them toward the shore with the added aid of her wings. Their combined weight was heavy on her slim frame, but she was determined. The young fairy pulled the two onto the wet shore, breathing heavily as she collapsed onto the bank. She did not take a moment to relax as Ani tore her twin away from the male, and laid her down upon her back. She pressed her ear to her sister's chest, freezing when she heard the weak, spastic beating of her twin's heart. Oh, Goddesses!
"You give her mouth-to-mouth, and I'll push down on her chest to get the water out of her lungs!" she ordered, not waiting for him to gather any of his bearings. If Aya died, then Ani would go after him next. She did not care, because she would hurt anyone that hurt her sister. Numb fingers tilted Aya's head back, parting her lips to get a good look if her throat was clear. It was, and so she pressed her mouth to her twin's to give the first breath to start before moving over to place her hands upon her chest. Pressing down in three sharp movements, carmine eyes glared straight at the man to take her place in giving the breath. This way she could heal anything that was wrong if Aya did not begin to cough up water straight away.

Jack knew the might of nature's strength would overcome his own, but he paid no heed to such matters. His muscles were getting a good work out fighting against the current, and keeping both himself, and the girl above the water. His thoughts clearly on the matters at hand pulling the redhead back to the shore. Lucky for him, the fairy sister who was hovering above them saw him come up, and gave a overly generous helping hand. He was more surprised at how desperate the white haired fairy had become in order to save her sister. The look in her eyes that burned with an overwhelming strength he didn't expect any fairy to have - let alone the girl in front of him.
Not to mention she was bossy as hell. Jack was not given a moment to even recover as soon as his feet found dry land. When he pulled his head up, he was taken back slightly at the instant cardiopulmonary resuscitation - never quite seeing it done before. Though it quickly hit him that the girl who drowned as still choking on water, and needed to quickly get air in her circulation. With a quick nod, he moved over replacing Ani's position, and got a glimpse of the unconscious fairy.
At least, she's cute, he thought errant. Jack held Aya's nose gently as he pressed his lips against hers giving her the required air she needed. He proceeded this function in all hopes that she would regain conscious, and be all right.

What's going on, she thought. Not that she could see, hear, or touch anything - just a mass of quiet and darkness everywhere. This vast emptiness was overwhelming, and the isolation was enough to leave one mad in sickness. Was this really what came with death? A grim thought crossed her mind. She always thought when you're about to die you see a light, and a flashback of your life before you. Perhaps Aya was far too stubborn to think about her past that it flew right past her? What little she knew~
Suddenly voices echoed within the walls enclosed around her. Her firelight eyes perked up searching desperately to where those voices were coming from. She recognized it. It was her sister, Ani. Where was she?! It was all going on in the depths of her mind. Aya screamed as loud as she could trying to call out to where she last heard her sister. She wanted to return back to her sister's side. The crimson fairy didn't want to be locked in this forsaken prison.
A flash of light engulfed her being as if her being was being pulled out of the state of limbo. Upon her waking hour, she began choking violently. When she opened her eyes, she was greeted with quite a sight~ Upon waking up, and trying to get air to breathe, she jerked up eyes wide open, and removed the access water from her mouth. Able to breathe finally she took a deep gasp of air, and started to collect her bearings. "Are you... fucking... serious?!" she gasped between words. "You... let this... guy give... me mouth to mouth?"
It dawned on her that was the first time someone's ever done that. It was for the sake of saving her ass, but he still kissed her! Oh, hell no! OH, HELL NO! Her face flushed bright red with both embarrassment, and anger boiling up inside. She was going to kill him!
"You bastard!!" she tried to sound intimidating but her lack of air circulation prevented her from getting the message across. Ani better hold Aya down otherwise she would kill him~

Ani felt a wave of relief as Aya began to stir and cough up the excess water from her lungs. Without waiting, she pulled the male back from her sister, hands poised over Aya's chest to sooth away the pain with her healing magic. Her sister was alive and whole, and nothing in the world mattered in that moment but her spastic coughing. Her heart began to sooth away from the painful fear that had grasped her, but soon she was exasperated by Aya's flare of temper at the brunette's action of helping to save her life. Oh, why did her twin have to be so temperamental at everything! She could already hear the mental countdown in her mind before her sister started yelling obscenities and attempted to lunge for the male. A sigh escaped her lips, and she launched herself at her sister.
Ani wrapped her arms about Aya's waist, holding her twin against her to prevent her from attacking him. "To save you! You almost drowned, Aya!" she stated loudly. Aya's red face was not a good sign at all, and so she tightened her hold about her twin. Oh, why did the Goddesses bless her with patience, and not for Aya? She loved her deary, but her anger was so volatile and always popping up at the wrong moments. At least drowning could not keep her down for long, and all she felt was relief and happiness at her safety. Giggling lightly, a mischievous smile crossed her lips as she hugged her twin to her.
"Aya, technically I took your first kiss, since I started the mouth-to-mouth," she explained. Okay, it was perhaps not the best thing to do, but Ani really did enjoy teasing her sister whenever she could. Hopefully this would also direct that anger onto her, because she could take Aya's temper without even batting an eye. Resting her chin on Aya's shoulder, she peered over at the male with a bright smile. "Thank you for helping me save her. Aya is very grateful, too. She just takes longer to show it," Ani said sweetly. Oh, how adorable her twin was all riled up and embarrassed~!
