Cute, but majestic. There lied the king of the wild sleeping quietly against the plushy grass. Dark brown ears twitched a few times as the sleeping regal rose like the sun in the east. A small yawn was extracted as the beast stretched out to get the stiff out of the bones. It was followed right afterwards with claws scratching through the dark fur of the majesty's ears. Even though it was probably in the middle of the afternoon or so, she rose to begin the late start of her day.
Yes, this was the Seyka lion. Ok, she wasn't the ruler of the wild or anything special like that. Rather she was a lion minish. Close enough. What was true is the fact she slept in today, thus making her late to catching the day. The day was very important because there was so much to do. Then there was none at all.
"Hmmmm." She let out a low growl, mind you, it's not very intimidating whatsoever. She cupped her hand on her chin as she contemplated not paying attention to where she was going. Much to do but at the same time nothing at all. It was like a riddle she couldn't solve at all!
Seyka walked straight into a tree. The fur on her feline ears, and tail shot up as the initial shock sank in, and she smashed her face into the bark. "Ouchies," she whined. Some king of the wild, she was~

How did I get here again?
You retrace your steps in your mind.
I woke up this morning, crawled out of my hole, relaxed in the sun, ate a squirrel and now I'm here.
No, that's the snake a hundred and eight feet north east of you. Try again.
I woke up this morning, climbed out of my tree, gathered some nuts, got eaten and died. I was delicious.
Nope. That was the squirrel. You almost freaked out a little back there, though. Getting closer.
I'm on a trip with my family. We were visiting the grove and it's noisy being a fairy so I went for a walk. My guard is with me.
That's right. Now that you're centered, enjoy the rest of your day.
Faron really was a great place. Lots of simple minds. Simple, peaceful minds. Bugs and animals were hard to get lost in. Well, except when they were dying. There was just her guard, always thinking of her safety. He was quite a nice man, really. He didn't think she was crazy and wouldn't have minded even if she was. He also thought she was cute.
And then, shock. Pain. I walked straight into a tree.
No, not you. The other girl. Focus, you're doing fine.
"Are you alright, Amy?"
She came to and realized she'd stumbled and fallen flat. "I'm okay. Help me up, will I?"
Her guard sighed helped her to her feet. I'm doing it again, talking about everything in first person. "Sorry," she said. "Slipped out for a moment."
He just smiled. "It's alright, dear. Anything interesting?"
"Oh, yes."
The new person wasn't far off. Amy would have noticed her earlier if she hadn't been so distracted. Shadowed by her guard, Amy called out as they approached. "Excuse me, are you alright?"
Of course, she knew the answer already, but she had to remember the rules.
[[OOC: Whoops I was going to cleverly embed this in the text somewhere but then I forgot. Anyway, outfit.]]

"Yeah, I'm ok," she began rubbing her small nose softly, "Am I bleeding?" Sey Sey let go of her nose but kept her index finger underneath to make sure she didn't end up hurting herself. When the coast was clear, and she made an instantly recover, she put her hand down only to realize she was talking to a complete stranger. Actually, there was two people there now with her~ Bright magenta eyes perked up with a bubbly gleam.
"Oh! I didn't realize I had company. I must have made a fool out of myself walking into a tree like that and all," so she began her tangent. Better stop her now before she gets out of control. "I've been told I need to pay attention to where I'm going, but I was completely engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't see the tree. Though it wasn't the tree's fault, it couldn't help being where it is since it's been here longer than I have on this earth. By the way, I'm Seyka. Who might my lovely company be before me?"
She changed subjects faster than contestants at a milk drinking contests called quits. She stared at Amelia for a bit that might be deemed a bit uncomfortable. What Seyka was actually staring at was how fabulous her fur was. It looked so soft, and fluffy! She had to resists all urge to touch it.
Oh, the troubles of just meeting a person. You could never just go up and give them random displays of affection! The laws of awkwardness were just strict with these policies. Her own tail swishing back, and forth in a very excited manner. Or at least one would expect out of a kitty minish~

As Seyka talked, Amy's ever-present vague smile grew stronger and stronger until she was positively beaming. This girl was so cheerful it was almost toxic. "I can relate," she said. "I'm Amy, and that's Leopold. Leopold takes care of me."
Leopold gave Seyka a slight bow. "Pleasure to meet you, ma'am." Then he leaned back against a tree, keeping an eye on Amy as always. She liked Leopold. He was more patient than the tree supporting him.
Amy sat down on the ground, bringing her tail up in front of her and hugging it. "It's okay. You can touch it. Can I touch yours?"

Her smile was reassurance that the Sey wasn't ever lovingly annoying the daylights out of her. What a relief! The purple cat girl bowed her head respectfully in return for receiving the names of her new found companions. Her dark brown kitty ears perked up hearing that Leopold was a guardian of sorts. She knew they exist but never in her life saw one in action really~
If Seyka could leap up to the sky she would have soared above the clouds, and left a trail of rainbows behind. She plopped down on the earth below before Amy. It was like she read the cat girl's mind! Well, then again, she was an open book, and wore her heart on her sleeves so her predictable nature should come easy for new comers to pick up. "You really don't mind?" she asked shyly.
A hesitant hand reached out, and felt the velvety surface of her tail. It was just as soft as it appeared, and twice as fluffy as she imagined! A mild giddy giggle escaped from her lips. "Your tail is beautiful, and very well taken cared of," she praised. "I wish I had a fluffy tail like yours, but it'd probably look weird for a cat minish like me." Blinking, she turned to look at her own tail. Obviously not as cute or fluffy, or soft as Amy's and it took a shot at her self-esteem a wee bit. Still, she twirled it right in front of her for show~
"My tail isn't anything special," she mewed softly. "... but you can touch it too if you want~"
