CODED BY TSU DOLL OF LOVE STAMP[/style] | [atrb=vAlign, top][atrb=style, width: 250px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 4px; padding-right: 4px; border-left: 10px solid #9FCEED;][style=font-family: Arial; margin-top: -4px; font-size: 10px;] Another day's work done. Info of people and lands alike are now up to date, and auto updates are now in the making. Programming the World Index to do such a thing is tiresome work, you know. It's hard enough to track down the general topic, find the article, and write the information in a legitimate fashion. But coding a key to do it for her? Terkoiz pondered of the codes required to set such a mode up. Also, she'll need to somehow translate the Cuneiform into more well-known languages, such as Hylian...As the girl though about this, she actually had the key in hand, walking along the woods that of the previous owner of the key had resided in. The knowledge was near-completely translated into Hylian, and the programming was actually just as close as the translating. In fact, she was doing these things rather sub-consciously as she looked ahead of the translucent, holographic touch screen. It's a good thing she knew Hylian at all. In fact, she doesn't even remember how she learned Hylian. She just knew.
Along the path lie a ravaged, gory man, half-consumed with guts spilled all over the place. Behind him rest a black panther of sorts...Well, I have no idea what the heck that animal is supposed to be, and neither does Terkoiz. So, we're both going to assume that it's a black panther. Tapping the key, the screen shut off as she put the necklace back in her pocket. So, she could either escape, kill, or die. The thing is, most all of these options are difficult. Except the death option, of course. It is always easy to die. She'd risk it. Walking up to the animal, she paused after a distance consisting of only a few feet. Yep, she would die. She would totally die, unless the animal in question was satisfied with his or her food.

x x The predator raised its head, [/size][/font] [/color] he explained, his mouth moving with surprising dexterity for something so fearsome and primal. His voice was rich and deep, calm as water and even as stone. "You see, when we were young, she had a hard time adjusting to other people. She was sensitive to the pain of others. We were not, as you can imagine, entirely compatible." He gestured lazily to the corpse, casually waving a paw that could knock the wind out of a man with half a flick. "But nonetheless I suppose I cared for her, in my way, and she cared for nearly anything with a heartbeat. One day, she was in a very great deal of danger, so I removed her from the danger. Out of gratitude, she gave me the earring. Call it the young foolishness of childhood, but I let her do it. It was strange to see her smile. Interesting."He paused, and tore a strip of meat out of the corpse. He was hungrier than he realized. "You understand that from this distance I could kill you in a moment," he said, his voice still casual, his form still relaxed, his claws still retracted. His eyes, though, maintained their steady gaze, never leaving her, watching her every movement with the precision of a wild animal that had killed things much larger than itself.[/size][/ul][/blockquote]

CODED BY TSU DOLL OF LOVE STAMP[/style] | [atrb=vAlign, top][atrb=style, width: 250px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 4px; padding-right: 4px; border-left: 10px solid #9FCEED;][style=font-family: Arial; margin-top: -4px; font-size: 10px;] The animal did not show too many signs of hunger or ferocity. In fact, he stifled a chuckle at the compliment. Lucky day. He had told her a story with a smooth, calming voice that seemed to capture the girl's interest. She did not interrupt as the short story continued on, trying to spot any similarities between his story and hers. Not many. In fact, it's somewhat reverse on her side. The sister Terkoiz always dreamed of actually exists. She doubted of their encounter, but she was rather fine with it. This knowledge would do.
“You really did love your sister. My earrings have some memories tied to it as well, though it mostly reminds me of my place in this world for the time being.”
She pushed her hair behind her ear, showing the deep violet earring that dangled from a small, golden ring. It was nothing special, the purple gem having a rather dull shimmer. The animal had mentioned something about murder. Yes, he could most likely kill her in a matter of seconds...Not that Terkoiz minded. She would simply reset the key to find a different user. The programming was not completed, but it would finish most of the process by its self. The burden would be lifted. She would be free to live as a Poe as she liked. The girl would not simply run off and kill herself on purpose, she has promises to keep. However, she tends to invite chances for her death to come, such as now. It's not much of a conscious decision, but more like blind curiosity. The process of resetting the key requires some time, however. She can only hope that this guy doesn't screw it up completely. Sitting down with her legs in a criss-cross position, she shifted into a more comfortable position, keeping eye contact with the panther.
“Indeed you could. You can if you'd like, I just wanted to have some risky conversation of sorts. Doing the same thing for most of your childhood gets a bit boring. Besides, you probably have a more interesting history than I do, be it lies or truth.” [/style] |

x x The predator was silent, [/size][/font] [/i] to kill this girl, but he could, and he was beginning to feel that he wanted to. "Love? I do not think that is the word for it. At least, I do not think we mean it in the same way." His words were casual, as though thrown away without care for where they landed or what they did. "There is nothing risky about this conversation. What will happen afterwards will happen. That is the end of it."He unfolded his paws, then laid them over each other again, his tail flicking back and forth, almost making him look innocent, until one noticed all the blood on his muzzle, staining his pure white fur shocking red, like a sunset on a plane of ice. "The most interesting thing that I've ever met was a bird, as a matter of fact. The capacity for speech is grossly overrated," the predator mused, its voice betraying neither truth nor lies.[/size][/ul][/blockquote]
