Hazel smiled as she started to make her way through the woods. She wasn't certain if she was willing to go outside of the woods today or not. She was in her human sized form. She was wearing a blue colored clothing with a black undershirt. Her wings for the moment were hidden from others. She gently touched the trees and flowers as she passed them with a soft smile on her lips. Oh, how she loved nature and being around it. It just made her so happy she wanted to jump and dance. Hazel had a bit of bounce to her walk as she made her way closer to the edge of the forest. She had traveled a little outside of the forest, but didn't stay out of it for very long. She could be a very skittish fairy and easily frighten. She sat softly down in a nice part of the woods closer to edge and ordon. The Faron woods wasn't a nice as it once had been when growing up. It had changed so much. While she traveled through the horrible fog she would be a tiny fairy and fly above it all trying to avoid the monsters that were near by. She really did not like it, but once she got through that area it wasn't so bad. She was now in the forest of Ordon sitting on the soft grass a little walk away from the spring.
Hazel giggled softly as she laid on her back looking up at the blue sky. She looked at the clouds floating in the air as her hand slowly traced a flower next to her. She giggled happily very content being here it was a nice day. She was alone and she didn't really mind she liked to be alone sometimes. It was peaceful. She turned to lay on her side propping her head up with her hand as she looked at the flowers she was close to. She petted each of them softly happy with their softness and gentleness. Hazel sat up softly running her hands through her hair getting the dirt and grass out of her hair from laying down. She didn't mind really if it was in her hair or not. It was more of a habit to get it out of her hair more than anything. She sat crossed legged looking at the floors before looking around her. She gently got up on her feet and made her way to the spring. She was barefoot as she normally was she allowed her feet to feel the soft sand that was just before of the water of the spring. She laughed softly feeling the sand before getting on her knees. She didn't care if her dress was to get wet it was nice to enjoy the coolness of the water. It was special water and could heal people. Her hand cupped some of the water before letting it fall between her fingers back into the spring. She laughed as she watched the water.
Hazel began to hear footsteps and quickly stood up. She looked down at her knees that were covered with sand and water. She began to wipe it off best she could. She slowly made her way to the edge of the spring looking into the woods she didn't see anything she looked back at the spring. She made her way to the middle of the spring smiling softly before looking up back toward the entrance. She wondered if she had heard footsteps or not. Maybe her imagination was playing with her again. She shrugged slightly not really caring if she had hears something or not. She knew she was safe here or at least she felt safe. She began to skip along in the spring happy. This was her home. The spring, the forest. She came to another stop as she thought she had heard some more footsteps. She stood in the center of the spring looking out toward the entrance with curiosity yet being cautious at the same time.

x x The forest was home to many dangers, , exactly, but rather red, the dark, grim red of blood long since dried. The predator was very aware of it, and so was making his way to the spring, both to wash his mouth and take a drink. His steps were casual, calm, with all the lazy ease of a being with absolute power and control over its own fate. Even as it padded along at a slow pace, one could see the fluid strength in its limbs, its powerful muscles barely even needing to work. There were surprisingly few scars on such a large creature, that had obviously been alive for a long time, and must have seen countless other predators and prey. Perhaps it had never faced a real challenge. The absolute certainty with which it moved said as much, or at least, said that any challenges it had faced, it had dispatched with ease. It stalked towards the clearing where it knew the water was, when it heard something. Laughter. Movement. Its nostrils flared, taking in the slightest bit of air, and it smelled a person. Something human, or human-like, anyhow. There were many creatures that walked about on two legs. The predator itself could do so, could assume a form much like the one he now smelled, save only that he never really wanted to. The predator adjusted its steps, making a bit more noise, letting off a warning. It had no idea what was at the spring, but it would be better to scare off any potential problems. That was just good sense. It approached the clearing, not from any road, but from the thick of the trees, slipping between them with far more grace than such a beast should have had. It observed the person at the spring from the shadows, seeing that it was only a human woman. Unarmed. No threat. He wasn't hungry. As long as she let him be, he needed nothing to do with her. He slowly made his way out of the brush, not out of caution, but as a warning, giving the girl ample time to see him as he approached. He continued on his way to the spring, moving like quicksilver in slow motion, before he bent down and lapped water from the spring. Flecks of dried blood fell from his muzzle, finally, dissipating in the water. As he did all this, his red eyes were fixed on the woman, never leaving her for an instant. If she looked at them, there would be little there that might be called recognizably "human." Only the analytical cunning of a predator.[/ul][/blockquote]

Hazel came to a stop her laughter stopping as she heard some noise. Her bright brown eyes looking out toward the entrance of the spring. She put her arms behind her interlacing them as she looked ahead of her a bit uncertain. She hoped whoever this person was kind and friendly. Though she knew not all were like that or so she had been told. She had lived in the forest her entire life she had not traveled much outside of it's safety. She hadn't really met many others aside from her fairy family and friends. Hazel took a few cautious steps ahead of her. Her steps were very light and almost floated. She was tempted to change into her small fairy form instead of her human one. She would much more easily blend in, but she stayed where she was as she heard whoever it was come closer to the spring. She was full of uncertainty not certain what kind of interaction she would have. Positively she was thinking maybe this person could be a friend or maybe it was a lovely little animal. She wasn't sure she hadn't been around many other people to be certain. But she didn't think it would be such a nice encounter she supposed part of her instinct was telling her this.
Hazel looked ahead as she saw the beast come from the brush. She looked at him curiously before taking a two steps back her hands still behind back. She wasn't sure if this person would be kind or not she didn't think he would be. He just didn't look like the kind part. But she knew appearance weren't everything. Maybe if she was lucky he would turn out to be kind person, but she didn't think so. Hazel watched him her eyes wide both with a slight bit of fear and curiosity. She gasped slightly as she saw him drink and what she thought was blood come off of him. She brought her hands to cover her mouth uncertain about this person. He could be a danger to her. But he didn't seem to be coming toward her. Maybe he was just thirsty and wouldn't bother her to much. But Hazel couldn't be certain. She nearly wanted to shrink down to her natural small form, but she stopped herself. If it became to bad she would. She couldn't fight she had never fought in a day in her life and didn't play to start now.
Hazel looked into the beast red eyes as he looked at her. She was become more frighten and fidget ever so slightly in front of him with his eyes on her. She wasn't all to sure why he was looking at her as he was. She didn't know what it meant exactly. She had never come across anyone like him. Something in her was telling her she should have nothing to do with him and get away from her. But she couldn't leave. Maybe part of it was due to fear. Even if she changed to her normal fairy form he could still hurt her if she tried to get past him. Hazel closed her eyes for a moment her hands moving to her sides uncertain as to what to do. A small sigh escaped her lips as she opened her eyes again looking at the beast again. She made sure she kept enough distance between the two of them. But she knew he could probably easily close that space. She had seen how smoothly he had seemed to move. His eyes were different somehow. Not so animal-like as she had seen before. She didn't think about it to much all she was concerned about was where he might be going and to make sure it wasn't near her.
