Haven:
The one place in Hyrule where Hybrids can live in peace and harmony without the fear of prosecution for being what they are.
As the name suggests, Haven is a home for anyone in need of protection or aid regardless of who, or what, they are, giving the city a nice diversity.
Being hidden deep in the Faron Woods, the true path to Haven is known to very few people in the outside world.
These individuals venture out into the world searching for the ones that are abused for what they are or what they believe in and bring them home, making them a new citizen of Haven who can come and go as they wish, but will always be welcome, shall they return, on the stipulation that they will not reveal the location of the city to any other than someone they bring back with them.
That is the only true law in Haven, and the only reason why I’ve decided to once again walk its sliver streets.
The gates of Haven are just as I remember them, the large stone pillars on each side topped with the iron guardians, metal statues that resemble Humans, but have large wings, and claws made from blades crossed over their chests, yet they seem to have even more rows of notches upon them since my last visit, telling me that there are more residents living here.
I walk over to the pillar on the right and unsheathe Imperium before inserting it into a slot between two stones and turning it, causing a door to open in the larger one, revealing the city beyond.
The stones laid in the streets are so finely polished by the sands and dirt constantly moved over them that they can be mistaken for silver, and the buildings they lead to are as diverse as the city’s people, taking on characteristics of the homes of every race, as well as some of their own based on what composes the owner’s bloodline.
I turn to the ones I brought along with me and smile.
Well, my friends, shall we go on in?[/size]
