Guild Information
For those of you unfamiliar with this term (though it is unlikely that many people are), a guild is a collection of people united with a common goal or purpose. Here on EE, we allow members to form guilds to operate within the IC world; the goal of your guild could be anything along the lines of protecting areas as security, finding out information about particular topics, or even hiring yourselves out as mercenaries to those who may require your skills. The choice is very much up to you.
------------------------------------------------------------
Current Guild Information
Currently, there is a limit on 12 custom guilds within the IC world of EE, and an equal amount of 4 guilds for each alignment; Good, Neutral and Bad. This number will alter according to the current activity on the board, as well as the current activity of the Guilds already in existence.
The current existing Guilds are as follows:
Guild Name | Guild Master | Guild Member Total | Guild Alignment |
Hylian KnightsPrincess Zelda, Zenethil-Good

Twilight MessengersPrincess Midna-Neutral

Sea RoversMerik Dragmire-Evil(?)

Sky PiratesJack Craven6Neutral
Creating a Guild
In order to create a Guild, the Guild Master (yourself) must have a minimum of 4 other people who will be willing to join the Guild with you as Founders. This requirement is to ensure that Guilds all start with enough activity to get along within the RP world, rather than begin as an idle group. The 5 Founders must all have a combined total of 100 posts minimum between them, with each individual Founder having at least 20 posts. Only meeting these requirements will allow you to submit a Guild for approval. All 4 of the Founders will need to post to the Guild Request Thread you make in this board to prove they are active.
When you post your Guild Request Thread (using the template included at the bottom of this post), you will be asked to state the intention of your Guild; their goal or purpose. Uniqueness is highly advised and encouraged, as there is a very little chance of a Guild existing if it is merely a carbon copy of another Guild, unless we are convinced otherwise. You are allowed to have a Secret Agenda to the group, which you can PM the Master of Guilds when submitting your Guild to inform them rather than display it to the public on submission (if you want to be all sneaky-sneaky like).
Each Guild created will be given its own individual sub-board within the Guild Board which will act as your Guild Hall, whereby you can discuss matters related to your Guild on Eternity's End. You may request that your board is password-protected, which you can share the password with your fellow Guild members. Bear in mind that anyone who leaves the Guild will still know the password, so it’s advised that the Guild Master requests a password change should a member leave who cannot be trusted with said password.

Guild Rules
- You can only run one Guild at a time.
- Each individual IC character is only allowed to be in one Guild at time. This is to prevent spying and meta-gaming between enemy/rival Guilds.
- As an extension of the meta-gaming rule, information gained by characters cannot be used by another. Whilst this is a general rule existing on EE, and a standard rule of RP, it is especially frowned upon in the case of the Guilds.
- Guilds are allowed to possess their own restrictions and requirements if you wish so, such as a post count, gender, class, species, total amount of people, or to make things stricter, you can make the Guild as an “Invite Only” Guild. This means that members from various Factions can be inside the same Guild.
- Every Guild is allowed a Guild Item that everyone in the Guild will have. This item can be magical in nature, HOWEVER it cannot be combat-oriented.
- Every Guild is allowed to request an RP Sub-Board to be made for them that everyone, even those not in the Guild, will be able to RP IC in.
- All Guilds must possess individual threads for Joining, Leaving, Rules, Information and a Member List. This will allow people the knowledge that they can join and leave as they please, without making them think that they are stuck in the Guild. The Joining thread should be used for new members to announce their arrival to the group, and the Leaving thread should let members know who has left. The Member List will allow both your Guild and the Staff to know the current amount of members within your Guild. There is no set limit to the amount of members your Guild can have, unless you decide it yourself. Rules clearly state what members can or cannot do. Information contains your Guild Template (Below), so the guild members know everything they need.
- All board rules apply to Guild boards as well as the Guild members, so misconduct from members will lead to a suspension of the Guild and deletion should the misconduct continue to occur. Ensure that your members behave; Guild Masters are responsible for their behavior and what happens within their Guilds. If a member is causing trouble, address the issue and if need be then ban them from the group (contact the Master of Guilds). You may organize your Guild in any way that you wish, but you must supervise your members as you will be held responsible for them.
------------------------------------------------------------
Maintaining Your Guild
Any requests for threads to be stickied or locked can be directed to the Master of Guilds. Remember you can only reply and modify stickied threads, once a thread is locked; the only way to post or modify it is to get a staff member to unlock it.
All currently existing Guilds must be active; otherwise they will be deleted if deemed inactive. If a Guild has less than 5 members active on the forum for 7 days, the Guild will be deemed as inactive. The Guild Master and Founders will be notified on the 3rd day of inactivity as a warning, in which all 5 of you are expected to reply before the 7th day. This may seem harsh, but it’s only fair to allow other people the chance to run an active Guild in the place of an inactive one. If there are no new posts within the Guild itself for 7 days, it will again be deemed as inactive. A private message will be sent to all 5 Founders on the 3rd day as the warning and again on the 7th day to confirm the deletion of the Guild.
