The sun was about to set, but they had no choice but to visit during dusk hours, as there was a chance that tourists or unexpected adventurers would linger. Alan's predictions were correct - there was not a soul in sight as he made his path along the broad area. The blue-haired youth studied a map, then proceeded to walk over to what looked like the corner of the stone plain.
He rolled up the map, took a few paces backwards, and jumped at the wall, gripping at the various vines that grew over the stone. Once he made it to the top, he notioned for the other two to follow him. If Lucie had trouble, he could help her up. For Brouda, with much strenuous effort, pushed over a large boulder that stood as a foothold for him.

"I will be your guardian for this journey..."
It was time, the titans services were in dire need. Alan did exactly what he was told that very faithful day at the spring. "If you ever need me, friend. Give a letter to anyone within this village. They'll make sure it'll get to me, HAHA!" It was a little odd though. Weeks would pass before this very day, and Brouda hasn't set a single foot back within the village. So how did they find him? Maybe from all the trouble he has caused throughout Hyrule? It didn't matter to Brouda one bit, he was excited to hear from the human called Alan. He promised a challenge for the Goron; something The Crystal King has been looking for his entire life. Would today deliver such "challenges"? Or was the human all talk? Either way, the titan promised to help anytime, and he would fulfill this promise until his last mighty breath. As the trio dove deeper into the mossy ruins, Brouda stood behind; making sure not to block any forward view the explores had. For he wasn't in this for the adventure, he was simply doing this mediocre task for the opportunity to push himself past his limitless limits. To his right stood Alan; the leader of the group and holder of the map. To his left stood little Lucie; a small human girl with a voice fit for a goddess. Suddenly, the human leader walked over to a vine covered wall and quickly began scaling it with great skill. The massive Goron examined the wall, it was obvious at first glance they wouldn't and couldn't support his weight; not that he needed it to anyways. But his main concern at the moment would be little Lucie. How would a child such as herself make it up such high grounds? "If you need me to carry you up this wall, I can do just that, Child. HAHA!"He spoke with a booming voice, giving the little human girl a friendly Goron smile. The crystal popping from his body wouldn't be there. They remained dull and rounded at the tips; but still kept up there impenetrable nature. If the girl would accept his help, Brouda would bend down and let the child climb up upon his dull crystal back. And with a mighty push of the legs, would began soaring up to where Alan was with a single jump. If she didn't need the mighty Goron's help, The Crystal King would simply wait for the child to reach the destination in one piece. If she lost her grip, he would catch her. And If enemies attacked, he would destroy them with the undying will of a Goron. "Today, I am your shield..." [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Really, this the first time that she'd ever set foot outside of the Lanayru Province. It felt so...Different. The ruined temple had vines and wildlife intertwined with the broken down building, giving it a bit of a natural, yet mysterious atmosphere. It had started a few weeks ago when Lucite was checking her mail, waiting for her experimental cinnamon cookies to bake. It was a rather rare thing, the girl getting mail. Most people just tent to visit her house, though mail was quite the pleasant surprise, seeing that it was not only an invitation to an adventure of sorts, but it was an invitation from Alan. Quite the shifty guy, but he's pretty interesting. Walking back into the house, she began to prepare her usual travel necessities.
With a small sigh from the girl, she stared up at the rather tall wall, watching the boy scale the vines with ease. Now, how was she going to do this? Brouda, the goron, offered to carry the girl up, but she shook her head with a smile. She could do this, she just needed to figure out how. Crossing her arms, Lucite hummed as she thought about how to scale this obstacle. After a few moments of intense planning, she grasped her staff, tapping the ground with the tip. Particles of sand began to circle around the girl's feet, before forming into a ring of stone. The ring rose up to her torso, allowing her to grab onto it with one hand. With the other, she threw the staff high in the air, raising up to an astounding 40 feet. The ring of stone followed after, bringing Lucite along with it. Once launched up above the wall, the girl descended next to Alan, holding the large ring. Kneeling over the edge, she caught the wand before it could land on the Goron. Honestly, she didn't know how the guy would scale the wall, but if he went through the trouble of offering her up, then he probably had a way.

He really cared about Lucie - and pledged loyalty to the safety of them both.
"Thank you."
A little later, the girl's vigorous method of breaching the high wall worked.
"Nice job."
Now that both of them had made it, all that was left was safely traversing over the rooftop-like formation of the ruins. It was quite a long drop, and there wasn't exactly any vine or ladder-like device that could be used to get down, so Alan simply leapt to the next structure. He patted it slightly with his foot to make sure it could support their weight. Despite looking ancient, the stone was pretty sturdy, and could probably survive any force of weight. They were lucky that the surfaces were broad - Brouda might have had some trouble trying to keep his balance on some of them if they were too narrow.
Alan took a look at his notes again. The great historian Polo Marco had left obvious clues behind that indicated his presence in these ruins - the various symbols he had written were indicated by the scattered, ruined stone buildings scattered about, and plants that looked exactly as they were on paper. Now, which direction to go..

"Hm? This might be a little challenging, HAHA!"
The Goron spoke with a booming voice which echoed throughout the entire ruins. The first obstacle was nothing at all. The massive Goron offered little Lucie help, but she was more than capable of pulling her own weight. This didn't surprise Brouda one bit though. Humans have this undying will fire within their soul; something he admired about the race for a long time. Soon, The titan's big black eyes looked over a small formation of rocks. This formation had numerous slabs of walk-able earth, but the drop down was more than enough to kill a human, so the two would need to closely watch there steps. Alan went first; jumping from one rock to another, cautiously checking if each slab could support his weight. Once again, Brouda wasn't worried about the human named Alan; he seemed quite capable of taking care of his self from the start. But this didn't mean Brouda would stand back and do nothing if trouble came his way, the Goron sill had a promise to uphold after all. I'll be right behind you, Lucie."Brouda said with a friendly voice, grinning his usual Goron smile. Every few slabs Lucie would travel, the titan would follow close behind. Jumping from plate-from to plate-from wouldn't be the smartest idea, so Brouda jumped from every other one. By doing this, he would have quickly have something to aim for if the one under his feet instantly decided to give way. Or if anything would happen to the humans he has sworn to protect, he still had a mode of stability easily within his reach. Everything seemed to be going according to plan, but the young Goron was ready for anything. He kept his eyes open, and his crystals sharp.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Many ruined columns stood appearing fairly unstable, followed by a seemingly endless drop. She heard the reassuring voice of Brouda, though fear remained to settle in her mind. She would slip. She would totally slip. Taking a deep breath, she hopped upon the first column, quickly losing her balance. Falling over, her chest over the edge. With a small, high-pitched squeak, the scared girl stared down at the pit. It didn't seem too deep, but it'd be fairly enough to kill her. Pulling herself back to the center of the slanted platform, Lucite breathed heavily as she re-planned how she could get across. She never did well with jumping, any who.
Gripping her staff tightly, she stood and aimed towards the next platform. A sort of an arched bridge of sand began to form, slowly packing together into a solid, stone bridge. Skipping across the pathway, she repeated the process several times before reaching the other side. Of course, for each bridge that was constructed, another was dissolved. So much easier than jumping, not to mention safer.

Yeah, he knew fully well that she might have been an accomplished user of magic and that she was plenty useful, but she was still a girl, and no amount of training could change that. Unless things got scientific. Which Alan wanted to avoid thinking about.
"H-here, Lucite, give me your han-" Alan hesitantly offered, suddenly cut off by Lucie's much more efficient way to cross the treacherous pathways. alan crossed his arms and sighed. He was being overly careful. This would have been a lot easier without company - and a lot safer too. However, he knew that they both had their weak points. If his abilities activated here, he wouldn't only wreck any living thing in sight, but probably Lucie and Brouda too, which he wanted to avoid at all costs. Of course, he really didn't think he stood a change against the 9 foot tall goron, but it was a possibility.
Alan hopped over the next couple of circular platforms and leapt over to where Lucie stood. It was a bit of a jump, but just like any other edge, he grabbed on and pulled himself up. An especially easy feat when you weigh less than the average 12 year old.
Now that they had managed across the long drop, all that remained was ahead, which was, again, another long drop, but there seemed to be no ruins or platforms anywhere to jump on in order to get across. Alan, holding a pencil between his teeth, dug through the notes again.
This is strange. His maps say there should be a small bridge here.. and I don't think anybody has been here before us.
He peered over the edge to find that there were a few bricks and stones sticking out of the wall. Alan supposed there was something at the bottom of this long drop that could help them somehow - perhaps a drawbridge or a lever of some sort. He considered Lucie's magic, but decided against it. He didn't think she would be able to make a path that would both be big enough for Alan to walk on and sturdy enough to support Brouda's weight. The ground was scattered with small ruins - pieces of cement and cobblestone that stuck out of the ground, none of them tall or thick enough to provide footholds for the trio.
"Brouda, Lucie, please hold tight for a moment."
Alan lodged himself over the edge and fell a small distance before gripping onto a stone. He let out a sigh of relief, then climbed down to ground. "!!!"
Big black pupils watched as Lucie almost feel to her death, but Brouda was quickly on the situation. Jumping from stone to stone, with perfect weight balance and skill. The massive Goron extended his left arm outward towards the girl with amazing speed. But he stopped himself half way, for he soon realized the girl caught herself mid-fall, but it was a close call. A call he doesn't want happening again. Brouda shook his head and chuckled a little. He didn't think about his movements, he just natural reacted to the situation. This hasn't happened in a longtime, Brouda is the type to think about each action; the positive, the negative, and the outcome, but this time, he didn't do that. He only wanted to make sure the small human child was safe. He would hate for the world to be without such a beautiful voice. Slowly retracting his arm, the group continued the trek over the few remaining plate-forms. "HAHA! That was close, but I'll always be by your side, child."The trio would come to a stop while Alan glanced over the map and a few notes he carried on his person. The Crystal King stood behind the two, but he peeked over Alan's shoulder to see what was really going on. The pictures, the words, and all the lines. It made Brouda's head hurt, he didn't have the slightest clue on what he was looking at. The human boy then talked; he told Brouda and Lucie to stay put and wait for him to return, while he climbed down a slick edge and search for away from the small group to continue. "Looks like we must wait, Child." The titan said crossing his massive bronze arms up against his chest while he glanced over the new obstacle. The length of the gap wouldn't be to bad; about 45 - 50ft. Brouda himself could easily just jump to the other-side, but that would also leave Alan and little Lucie defenseless and without their impenetrable shield. He softly shook his head from left to right as he got the thoughts out of his head. He wasn't summoned to think, he was summoned to protect; something he would do no matter the cost.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
