With a yawn that sounded like a low growl, Corvus woke up to the bright morning sun. Another day spent at his day job, cleaning up for the wealthy of Hyrule. It wasn't the most glorious of jobs, but it got the bills paid, so to speak.
Gathering up his cleaning supplies, he went over them quickly.
"Broom, check. Brush, check. Disgusting rag, check." He tied his hair back into a ponytail so it would disrupt him less and got dressed in his work clothes, which were really just basic cloth garments, wouldn't want to do a dirty job like this in any fine expensive evening wear after all.
Leaving the small complex he called home, he took a big whiff of the morning air and smiled. Today was the first day of the rest of his life, and with the recent events that occurred, he may be able to quit this stupid job soon and focus on developing more of his talents.
For now, though, he traveled along the road, walking with the small crowds to the estate he was to clean up on this fine day.

Seyka was humming merrily. She half-skipped, half-scampered through the crowd bright eyed, and fluffy tailed this morning! There was always something going on even early in the morning in this bustling town. She was on a mission. A simple mission, but it was a mission no doubt. She didn't have much money to spend so she only came to this busy, center of culture to get what she needed.
As she frolicked through the crowd she enjoyed the crisp air of the moist morning air. Blinking a few times, she had to remind herself over, and over again not to forget what she was going after. Sure, it wasn't too bad when everyone was just getting up, and getting everything set up. Once the late morning/early afternoon hits, then everyone and their mother comes in for some intense shopping.
She was so focused on keeping her attention on her intentions for the morning that she didn't realize someone was in front of her. With a small tap, she bumped into him, and nearly fell on her rump. For a feline, she certainly had a terrible habit of not paying attention to where she was going. Silly Sey Sey was silly. "Oh my goodness!" she squeaked, "I'm so sorry!"

One would think that with his cat-like reflexes, Corvus would have been able to dodge.
Not this time
He had too much on his mind right now to avoid smacking head-on into the other person. Rubbing his forehead, he shook off the initial shock to find that he had bumped into a fellow minish, and a cat minish no less. And a cute cat minish no less. What a surprise. He brushed a lock of blonde out of his face as his cheeks began to redden in a reaction to the situation.
"No, no, it's ok. If I was paying more attention I could have avoided it." He held out a hand to her to help the clumsy kitty regain her balance. "You ok?" He immediately looked her over. Odd purple hair, a cute white-tipped tail. His own tail flicked in interest. It wasn't often he saw other cat minish, especially ones as cute as this particular one.

Oh dear. She felt so terrible for what she's done. Sey Sey wouldn't blame him if he got upset at her for running into him from not paying any attention. The little kitty scolded herself mentally; she had to be more careful, and watch where she was going. Places like Castle Town weren't open fields or spacious forests where she could easily just go wherever she wanted without a care. It was filled with people she had to be mindful of going about their own business, and trying to get back day to day.
The little kitty was expecting the person she ran into to give her reprimanding. However, it was the exact opposite of what she expected. In fact, it was much, much better than what she was thinking! She tilted her head slightly to the side, her bright magenta eyes staring at his hand for a moment or two, until she realized what he was doing. "Oh! Yeah! I'm fine," she beamed a bubbly smile. Her tail swaying back, and forth excitedly as she took his hand to regain her balance.
"Thank you! I'll be careful next time," she said with confidence. Simplicity had to be a sin. "Say, you're a minish too? That's so cool! I didn't expect to find another minish here in town. What luck!"
Then it dawned on her, she was babbling again. She flashed a sheepish grin before scratching the back of her head. A bead of sweat formed upon her temple nervously. "I'm sorry. You look like you've got places to go to. I shouldn't be keeping you from it~"

For a cat minish, she wasn't very...catlike. Her bubbly attitude and her clumsiness separated her from the average cat. She seemed to be quite the energetic little kitty though, a more friendly housecat sort of mindset. She was quickly growing on the short jungle cat though, maybe she was just that damn cute.
"Oh don't worry. I make extra time for myself so things like this don't affect me. Besides, if I'm late then so what? It's not like I'm on a schedule." Truth be told, any distraction from work would be good. He was rapidly starting to dislike his job ever since he got his big payday.
"You were moving pretty fast there purple cat. You in a rush or are you just naturally that way?" Purple cat was of course a reference to her purple hair, though the focus was primarily on her big magenta eyes, glowing and full of life. Almost as full of life as her mouth, which was entertaining in its own way. Sure as hell beat work.

Due to her gentle nature people tend to mistaken the Sey as a domestic house cat type. She was far from domesticated, but it was quite pointless to try to justifying her behavior to someone. She did have a feral side, but her sense of pride, and dignity as a lioness told her to keep it to a low. She wasn't in a forest, let alone an open field to be wild, and all~
"That's not good," she blinked. "If you're employed, and need to be at your work station, you need to make it there promptly, and with minutes to spare. Though... I guess if you say so, then it's no world-ending deal~" Not like she had work to do herself. Hell, even with the mission she had on her hands, it wasn't exactly life threatening or some miracle item that would save the world. She was just getting a hairbrush.
She giggled at his question. Yeah, she did get carried away back there though. Her magenta eyes brightening up with pure joy. As far as she was concerned, she was glad to know she met a friendly face at the start of the day. "It's no biggie really. I'm out early to buy a hairbrush," she explained merrily. The last one she had broke on her from trying to untangle the fur on her feline ears. "By the way, my name's Seyka. What's yours?"

Corvus thought for a moment that he had struck gold when he saw another cat. Perhaps she was going to be perfect for another cat to slip into his little group.
Not likely.
Still, she was a little ball of kitty cuteness. He laughed and shrugged. "It's nice to be on your own clock." She was rubbing off on him slightly, as her bubbly movements were contagious.
"Hairbrush huh?" He noticed a few small knots on her ears. "I guess that's the nice part about being only half-cat. My ears came from my mother, human ears are much easier to maintain. Oh, right, name's Corvus. Nice to meet you Seyka." If only everyone in the world were like her. The world would be a better place. He gave her his hand to shake, he liked her being around and hoped they would meet again.
