OOC: to join you must be invited by me and Ryan green and we both must agree on it. IC: Volitire sat at the Inn at a table he rented in the back of the room the curtains mostly closed; there was only one table in this room with a few chairs around it. Volitire looked through the menu wondering what he should have to eat. Would it be a steak, with side of potatoes with cheese and cream cheese, and some toast, or should it be a plate of some exotic noodles whose example image looked oh so good, or perhaps he should order the both of them. Volitire had not really eaten anything all morning, which is why he was here.
Volitire left the curtain opened enough so whoever walked through the door Volitire could see them; it also meant they could see him. He had a few people hunting for him, they have not found him yet and Volitire could not really care less. Volitire had sent a man an invitation letter to come to the Inn in castle town, at the back most room separated by a wall of curtains. The waitress came through delivering Volitire his drink order of their finest wine, an entire bottle. Sure this new Inn of castle town was expensive, but that’s because they only served the highest quality of anything. and their prices were actually quite reasonable, for something of such high quality.

Well, here he was, a fancy restaurant. He honestly wasn't sure why he was here, apparently he had gotten an invitation from someone. Usually he would just throw it away and ignore it like he ignored all the others he got, but this time he was curious as to who would try to invite him to a place like this. It was common knowledge that Ryan hated fancy things, so the fact that someone would go out of their way to take him to a place like this either mean that whoever invited him didn't know, or just didn't care about his preferences.
In any case, he made his way towards the back as he had been informed via the letter. Pulling back the curtain, Ryan was met with the most outrageously evil looking person Ryan had ever seen. It was sheer force of will that prevented Ryan from stabbing the man in the face right then and there based on his looks alone. Black hair, fangs, red eyes, black outfit, skull cane. It was ridiculous how evil the man looked. "Hello. I am Ryan Green. I believed you invited me here"? He asked, looking around but not sitting down just yet. "Tell me, to whom am I speaking to?"

Volitire watched Ryan as he came in and took note to his body language he then set down the menu and looked at Ryan green and took off his top hat and set it down on the right side of the round table closest to Ryan from where Volitire was sitting.
“The name is Volitire, no doubt you have heard of me, now you know what I look like… if you plan on attacking me, I would highly advise against it, I can blow you straight through the walls, no doubt you have you own skills… but I am here to enjoy a nice meal and some fine wine. Now… please sit, it is rude to keep a man like you standing the whole time,” said Volitire before taking off his top hat and setting it on the left side of the table.
“You see… times are changing, and so people must change with them, these days you need allies… before you go making conclusions, you were not my top choice, but you were the easiest to reach, chances are we will never be allies, but I do need to know where you stand, against me, with me, or something in between… sure, sure, I am a wanted man, and the bounty on my head is just a portion offered, if you dig back 70 or so years you will find a bounty so big… hell, the whole world could be after my head… the thing is Ryan Green… I’m attracting to much attention, for the sake of others and to leave an old demon alone, I ask that you erase all of my files… as much as you can… just to get people off my back, I am 90 year old probably the oldest demon still possessing a living body, I may be young and well fit physically… but mentally... I’m getting too old for the running business… well I know politics pretty well so I am sure we may need to talk about some sort of deal, so… let’s talk,” Said Volitire.
A waitress walked over where Volitire ordered a steak dinner, Medium rare steak. She then asked Ryan if he wanted anything, meanwhile Volitire straightened up his silverware to the proper high class arrangement, normally a rich man would complain about it but Volitire could not care less.

There was a long and awkward silence as Ryan simply stared at Volitire. The silence seemed to extend for several minuets, made even more pronounced by the sheer awkwardness of the situation. The whole place seemed to stand still, unsure and insecure of how to go back to its normal state of affairs. Soon however, a sound broke the silence of the restaurant.
Ryan was laughing.
It was a slow thing at first, a quiet thing. A low and subdued chuckle that could barely be distinguished from the everyday noise of the restaurant. Soon however it grew in to a loud, almost hysterical laugh that carried everywhere, before abruptly cutting off. "Sorry about that." Ryan said as he pulled out a chair and sat down. "Its just that I've been under a lot of stress lately, and the sheer absurdity of what you were saying was just the thing to relax all of that. I suppose I should thank you." He reached across the table and grabbed Volitire's wine glass, downing the contents in a single gulp before turning back to him, still smiling that mocking smile.
"This is what is going to happen. I am going to arrest you, you are going to surrender. I am going to take you to jail where you will be put on trial and then executed for crimes against Hyrule." He toyed idly with the wine glass, staring at it in contemplation. "You know, I have to thank you. Confessing who you are, spilling your life story like that, what your powers are. You've given me a rock solid case against you. If by some miracle you happen to escape, I'll just post bounties everywhere across the entirety of Hyrule for any wannabe hero looking for a chance to prove himself." He set the wineglass not he table, his smile turning in to an even and professional look. "So, thanks for making my job easier, you're under arrest now, surrender or be killed for resisting arrest, your choice."

OOC: a little Chopy, plans changed and I am trying to work it out.
IC: “Predictable,” replied Volitire before getting up and telling the waitress to leave giving her a few silver rupees’ she took the money and left closing the curtains behind her.
“Just… there is one problem with you plan,” said Volitire as he grabbed his cane.
“You drank the wine,” he said as he pulled out a bundle of cloth from his pocket, he pinched one edge of the cloth and let go of the rest and a purple swamp plant fell down onto the table.
“I believe you know what kind of plant that is… it was in the wine, I like how quickly it takes effect… paralyzing anyone who ingests its contents,” Said Volitire as he walked around the table to behind Ryan.
“As for arresting me… I prefer resistance, it’s more fun that way. However… it is a shame, you should never drink from a glass already filled and untouched,” said Volitire as he walked around the table back to his seat where he sat back down.
Originally Volitire planned to use the paralyzing drink as a getaway, the plants toxic fluids are tasteless and scentless, completely undetectable. But since he just went ahead and drank it, plans changed. sure he had now just committed the crime of treason, but… Volitire did not care; he would just put it on his list of crimes and go commit another one.

"Well, I suppose in addition to your many crimes, I can now add 'Assault on an Official', to the list as well. Although I doubt it matters much in the end, you'll still be executed if you aren't killed while resisting arrest, which you seem to be." Ryan leaned forward on the table, seemingly unaffected by the poison. "And a funny thing about that poison. I have a bit of a history with abusive mages trying experiments on me, so I've developed all kinds of immunities and resistances to foreign influences, they tend to pop up at the worst time." He picked up the wine bottle and looked at it sadly. "Did you know I can't get drunk anymore? My body chemistry is really messed up."
"This is your second and only other warning, by the way. Surrender or I will be forced to detain you through physical violence. Considering how you told me all your abilities, yet you know none of mine, I hold the strategic advantage." He tossed the wine bottle from one hand to the other in a gesture of boredom. "Do surrender, would you kindly? The Princess gets ever so annoyed with me if I trash buildings bringing in criminals, my last big arrest was peaceful enough affair, I would like to go two for two."
OOC Luck Point gained, and promptly spent to immunize Ryan against the poison, justified by being experimented on in the past.

“I have never told you any of my powers, and most of all I never told you how I can blow you through a wall, who knows I might be a Goron is disguise, or… I could have a rather large bomb hidden somewhere in the structure of this building…” said Volitire with an evil half smile.
“I don’t really care for you coincidental immunity, it was originally meant to hinder you… to… keep you here” Said Volitire his tone of voice hinting to his words of hiding a bomb somewhere. Of course he had no bomb here, but every tone every gesture, every body language and tone was that of someone telling the truth. Basically said, no bomb, and no way to tell he is lying.
Volitire then grabbed his dagger and went to leave the restaurant, parting the curtains without slowing pace, Negotiations won’t work. So he won’t get his way, it does not really matter, it was only for enjoyment. Adding a charge for a bomb threat? Been there done that… dozens of times in the past 90 years.
Volitire headed for the door, expecting Ryan to come up behind him and try something, and say something like ‘if this place goes, we both go’ or he might bother scavenging for the bomb under tables and even upstairs. Whatever he does he did not care, more fun for Volitire either way, either a laugh, or a duel and make a mess of things.

Despite all his boasts, Ryan knew Volitire was lying through his teeth in a desperate attempt to escape with his life. How did Ryan know this? There were several cues that tipped him off. For starters, if Volitire really did hold all the advantages, why was he trying to make his escape? Secondly if there really was a bomb, why the poison to stall him? An actual true threat of a bomb would have been more than enough to prevent him from instantly going after Volitire. As it was however, the whole thing reeked of a bluff, and a bad one at that.
Plus, there was the simple matter that Ryan didn't really feel in any danger. If there was a true threat to his life present, his instincts would have been screaming at him to dive for cover or to do something to protect himself. As it was, he felt nothing, this combined with the other facts lead Ryan to believe that Volitire was in fact lying, leaving Ryan with only one logical recourse: Standing up and taking one of his axes in hand, he threw it as hard as he could at Volitire's back, intending to kill the man with his first strike. As he had made little to no noise, it was effectively a sneak attack. Considering how he had given Volitire two warnings, and he had STILL chosen to try and walk away like he was in control of the situation, Ryan decided to simply force the man in to jail through more lethal means.
Besides, they could always get a fairy to revive him for a proper trial before they formally executed him for good.
