Zieg lowered his leg, the boot clamping a small rabbits neck against the ground as it helplessly squirmed for its life. Leaning over, his white hair falling short to one side, he grabbed it with one hand and lifted it from the ground. Examining it, he nodded and snorted slightly. He had taken his human form, finding his true form to be to large and daunting for the simple task of catching a rabbit. It was also to amazingly easy.
The natives of these woods seemed to fuss over the slaughter of their neighbor, but the Dreadnought paid these thoughts no mind. They were all but mere maggots to him, and his Emperor.
Drawing the sword at his side, he dropped the rabbit onto the ground and impaled it directly through the neck, then followed to do something he preferred not to do in public. While in his human form, he exhaled a large blast of fire, roasting the small critter.

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,5px,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] Rainero, do this. Rainero, do that.
That was typically what any and all conversation consisted of for the Fairy in a day. Nothing more, nothing less. Well, he supposed he should have expected as much, for he was a busy person. If anything, perhaps he preferred the short addressing, as opposed to falling behind because someone wanted to have a little chat with him about the weather or whathaveyou.
Fortunately, amidst the terribly lengthy list of tasks he had to complete for the Court, the Lieutenant still managed to find some free time, which was pretty amazing, but not by his standards. In the end, the light-haired man was unable to find any other activity to do but venture out into the fauna, where what would await him? Trees, trees, and more trees. Thinking about it now, his life centered amongst these trees; he didn't go out often, unless it was by order of the higher ups.
Sheltered? Maybe. But he was not a little chickadee flying from the coop--he was well aware of what the outside world held.
Silver eyes blinked slowly, examining his surroundings when the brightly dull light of a flare caught his attention from around the foliage. With slight caution, the man stepped around, poking his head around a tree, unflinching as he first witnessed a slowly roasting rabbit that had been mercifully pinned to the ground, before his line of sight gazed to the perpetrator, upchucking the present fire from his maw.
"Haaah? Fire-breathing? How convenient." He proceeded to say nonchalantly from his position a little ways away.

[ooc: Sorry for that last post. Skyrim is consuming my life right now]
Zieg was still unaware of the fairy's presence, and he did not speak loud enough to break the dreadnoughts concentration. Taking the smoldering hot rabbit by the sword and raising it to his mouth, he took a large bite out of it. Crunchy, slightly burnt, but not half bad. Swallowing the meat, he began to snack on it as he walked through the woods, turning around and heading directly at it. He did not see the Fairy in the woods, yet remained focused on his rabbit.
Leaning against a tree after a few steps, he tossed the rest of the rabbit back into the forest, satisfied with the snack. Now, no longer distracted by the wonderful taste and smell of burnt rabbit, he looked around, becoming more aware. He had a moment of indulging ignorance; now that would come to an end.
"Hello?" His voice was rather cognitive, sarcastic, and overall unambitious.

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,5px,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] [ ooc: s'cool bro, made sense to me. ]
Surprisingly enough the stranger didn't react to his words, nor did he seem to notice the fairy standing nearby. Or perhaps he had noticed, but didn't see Fairies as much of a threat? Well, he could understand half of it, but in a world like this, anything and anyone could prove lethal. Surely his guard would be higher than that? Then again, he knew little of this mystery man who was obviously not from around the forest, and certainly not a friend of the forest at that, so who was he to assume ignorance?
In silent intrigue, Vittorio witnessed the latter ungraciously diving in to his fresh meal with a crunch, as he walked on through the forest. Hmm. The Fairy was unsure what stance to take. Not to mention he was slightly confounded at the "meal-to-go," as opposed to a usual catch, prepare, and eat later method that most people took, adventurer or no.
Motion caught his eyes, dragging him from thought as the remains of the carcass were carelessly thrown whichever way. Though he had no particular complaints or objections to it, as the dead creature would eventually decompose anyways, but he could already surmise that this person... was rather "savage," in a perhaps exaggerated term.
A new voice interrupted the natural silence of the forest, causing silver eyes to look to the sound. So he was finally noticed? "Eh... yes, hello, sir." He ended up responding, unable to think of much else to say, while the back of his mind pondered why he was spending his free time with this. Whatever this was.

Zieg raised an eyebrows, chuckling at the fairy with assorted amusement. This whole situation was rather odd, and Zieg being Zieg, would address it as such. "Standing in the bushes staring at me. Kinda weird, don't ya think?" He crossed his arms, his face blank of expression.
"Who are you exactly?" The dreadnought did not fancy the fairy race. They were to prim and proper, to clean for him. At least, most of the time they were.

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,5px,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] The man seemed amused. Vittorio wasn't exactly sure why. If anything, it was an unusual situation to be in, and one that he would have difficulties explaining. "Well, of course someone breathing fire in a forest would catch my attention," Came the blase retort. "As many happen to live here and wouldn't appreciate their homes getting burnt down, sir." His thoughts wandered to the reason why this man could even breathe-fire to begin with. As protocol demanded of him, he probably should have asked about the stranger, but at the current moment, he went against it.
"Ah, me?" The first thought that came to the Fairy was that this man didn't really have a right to ask that, at least not first. But of course, his nature gave him the obligation to respond, perhaps one of his downfalls. "Vittorio Rainero. Perhaps it's only by chance we meet here, but I suppose it's better than having to work in the Court all day." His thoughts escaped him slightly, and the minor realization that a nap would have been nice came to him. The question of whether this encounter would be worth staying awake would soon be answered.
"But I digress sir, what business might you have in the Woods? Aside from satiating your hunger, that is."

He stopped, examining the fairy as though he had proposed a trick question of sorts. Rubbing his stubbly chin, he shot back with a quite simple and yet not so honest reply. "To quench my thirst, as well." He let his fingers slide over the blade at his hip; although he didn't intend to appear threatening, he probably was sending off an air of vague, possible intimidation. A fairy in his home would not feel threatened, but more so weary , right?
"I'm Zieg- Dreadnought of the Monster Empire." He introduced himself, taking a single step forth and extending his hand. The Fairy would need to go a little further, if not much more, but Zieg did not plan on moving more than he had to.

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,5px,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] Vittorio examined the latter thoroughly, now that he had a better chance to see. He could understand why someone might want to hunt in the forest, but he was sure there were other, much more efficient ways of getting food and drink--not that he was condemning the way of the hunter.
His eyes noted the subtle movements; just as the man blatantly had his methods of defense, or perhaps even attack, the lieutenant had his of his own as well, but had no intentions to act in a violent manner unless otherwise provoked. Unlike his unusual companion, he remained still for the moment, for as member of the Court, he was to remain steadfast and display no faltering. If the intruder wanted to cause a scene, he would have to make the first move. In which case the fairy hoped would not happen.
I see, Silver eyes blinked in silent recognition, his caution further deepening towards the male. So that explained the fire-breathing. And perhaps the hunting and lack of mannerisms. The question still remained as to why one of a particularly important status would be found out in the Sacred Grove, but Vittorio had no nose held high enough to pry and re-ask his earlier question. He felt the notion that it would once again be avoided as well.
"Hm," Regardless of his reasoning, he supposed it would do no harm in exchanging a few more words. Stepping from his original position, the Fairy met the Monster with a small nod as he outstretched his own hand and completed the gesture, with a small bow of his head. "A pleasure then, Mister Zieg."
