The Land of Hyrule, a place he had once visited before a long time ago, spreading his love everywhere. Of course, just like humans, Hylian men got all uppity over something as simple as a bit of flirting and groping. What was wrong with that now? He was simply showing that they women were still completely attractive to warrant such attention. They hadn't minded it so much, so why should the men, ah well, no point dwelling on it now.
However, instincts kicked in and his hand shot out instinctively to grope a woman's ass. It had become such a habit, that his body had taken it in as an instinct when a beautiful woman was nearby. The worst part, was that Maverick was unaware of it, being an automated reaction and all. He had continued to walk on as though nothing had happened, though it would be hard for it to be another person. Especially given that the field was pretty much empty right now, sadly he could not see the future and would not know anything of what was coming next.
With arms behind his head, he whistled a pleasant tune, and carried on his way without a care in the world. The advantage to being a wanderer of the world, nothing to tie him down, nothing to make him feel restricted. It was the way a true warrior should be, with nothing holding them back, and always ready for their death. He had no qualms about things like that, besides his death would tell him when it was time.

"Now, which planet could you use for minor cuts?" Sundosia said as she hovered over the brown-haired hybrid. Her hands were behind her back and cold blue eyes staring down at the child. Today was a lesson on plants. Eris would need to learn as much as she could about how to survive on her own, from domestic lessons to out-in-the-wild lessons. She watched as the girl reached over for a strange planet but hesitated. ]"Come on Eris, we've been through this." She said, her voice growing more stern. She watched as the girl reached again for the plant among some shrubs and finally touched the leaves "This one?" She asked. Sundosia stood for a moment before nodding, "Yes. You are learning." She said, seeming rather pleased.
Eris gave a sigh of relief. Her mother's wrath was terrible. She was not sure what the woman would have done had Eris not been correct. Sundosia never hit the girl, but her punishments were often creative and unpredictable. Eris stood back up and brushed the dirt off of her knees and looked to her mother with her light hazel eyes. Sundosia was no longer looking to the child, but off to notice something was heading toward them. It did not look like a monster or anything that could harm them, and she heard a tune being carried across the air, coming from him or her. Eris stood bravely, despite the fact she was afraid. Sundosia would yell at her if she showed she was scared.
The two waited to see who it was and what, if anything, they wanted. Perhaps it would be someone to talk to. Perhaps it was an adventurer who could teach Eris a thing or two. Either way, Sundosia was curious and her attention remained focused upon the approaching figure.

It seemed that there were people in the field besides himself, though that wasn't quite so important right now. Even if the one was a rather good-looking woman with her child, the woman he might need to come back and talk to a bit. At least, that was his plan as he passed them with a greeting, "Mornin' ladies." However, his hand was already at work with his body's automated response, and since the woman was facing him, it would turn out a bit differently than most cases. His hand had managed to grope her breast, and if one was paying close enough attention, they would notice that Maverick was unaware of it.
As such, he continued walking, without knowing what had even happened with a strange sensation in his hand. One he enjoyed, so there was nothing off about it to make him stop and question what had happened. His mind was set to going to Hyrule Castle anyways, something very few people were capable of getting into, but he would find a way in. Simply cause he wanted to meet the princess. He didn't know why, but it seemed like it might be something fun to do.
He would probably go around and meet with all the princesses and queens that he could, just for the fun of it. A wide grin across his features as he walked through the sun-filled field.

Eventually the man had come up to them and spoken to them. Sundosia was just going to ignore him and allow him to continue on, when his hand reached up and grasped her breast. Her face contorted into that of rage. Right in front of her own daughter! Glancing to the young girl, she was too busy really watching the man to really know what had happened. He was there, and then he walked off, just like that. As for Sundosia, she was not about to let that fly and she knew just how to get his attention as well.
She took an arrow from her quiver and loaded it into the crossbow. She pulled it back and aimed it for his leg. This should get his attention. There was a sound as she pulled the lever on the crossbow, and sent the arrow flying toward Maverick's leg. Surely this man knew what he had done, if not, she would be glad to explain it to him with another arrow aimed at his face. The nerve of that man, grabbing her like that, and right in front of her own daughter! It was a good thing the child did not really see it, but she was not going to stand for that! Eris had jumped when she heard the arrow go flying, wondering why her mother was attacking this man, but keeping quiet about it.

There was a familiar sound from behind the man, he was a warrior after all, and hearing the sound of a crossbow was a natural thing for him. Moving to the side, the bolt scratched his leg, and he looked towards the woman, his expression becoming a bit different. Though he wasn't angry, "Might I ask why you attacked me, Miss?" There was no reason for him to get angry really, as a warrior he has already accepted his death, so the worst has happened to him already. Being attacked was nothing for him to fret over really, there were other things that held a bit more urgency to him.
Granted, it had taken a lot of willpower to not react with an attack of his own, with how he had been trained. However, seeing the little girl there had made it easier, he would not want to give her a bad memory of someone attacking her parent. At least, he assumed they were related, who knew really, they could very well not be at all. "Look, I don't know why you attacked me, but is it really good to show such violence in front of a child?" he pointed out. Defensive fighting was one thing, but attacking someone else, seemed a bit of something you wouldn't want to show an innocent child.
"Whatever it is, I'm sure we can discuss it," he continued, though in case it didn't work, his mind was formulating plans. Just cause he didn't want to harm the woman, didn't mean he'd continue to let himself be attacked either.

While her attack had missed he had turned and asked why he was attacked. "Why indeed, don't play stupid! You sexually harassed me in front of my daughter!" She said, as she took another arrow and prepared it. Though her boost to the arrows was not going to provide much, it was not about to stop her. She sighed and pulled the arrow out and lowered the crossbow. It was not worth wasting another arrow on him. Eris had seen her fair share of violence anyways. She chuckled at him mentioning that, "The child has seen her fair share of violence, but what you did was inappropriate." She snapped to him. What else was there to say? The man had done her wrong, and she had attacked him for it, but it seemed her arrow just at least got his attention.
The hand her gauntlet was on began to clutch into a fist. If he got too close, she would not be afraid to unleash the stream of flames towards his direction, give him a few new scars to talk about. She waited for this stranger's response, still furious that he had dared to inappropriately grasp her right in front of the young girl. Even if Eris had not been there, Sundosia would have still been furious but would have probably just yelled at him instead of attacking him.

Tilting his head at her words, he had to think about what she might be referring to with her comment. "Sexually harassed you? Oh, did my hand move on its own again? Sorry about that, it's become an instinctual reaction when there's beautiful women around," he rubbed the back of his head with a grin. He wasn't one that was about to lie, he did understand that not everyone liked things like that. "Apologies, ma'am. I didn't mean it as a slight or insult, my gropings are meant as compliments. A woman is beautiful, and I try to appreciate that beauty," he chuckled once more, rubbing under his nose sheepishly.
When she responded to his comment on the girl seeing her fair share of violence, Maverick frowned a bit. "Well, that's a shame that such a young one has to witness violence at a young age. I hope it was at least self-defense," he said, squatting down and waving to the little girl. "Like I said, apologies for my instincts, I meant no disrespect by it. Is there something I can do to make it up for you, within reason?" he asked, showing that he was sincere about his words.
Turning to the girl, he smiled once more, "What's your name, little chika?" It was a term that very few people would know the meaning to, possibly confusing it with another term. However, the word he used for her, simply meant flower and that's how he meant it for the little girl.

Sundosia rolled her eyes about him saying his hand moved on it's own. A likely story. A chuckle escaped her as he further tried to explain that it was his way of appreciating beauty, "Really? Please, sir, I wasn't born yesterday." She said before having mentioned the child had seen her fair share of violence, "She's seven years of age, and I was teaching her to hunt and to skin her kill." She explained, though she really should not have to explain anything, but it was quite a viable reason in her mind. The child needed to learn how to take care of herself should she ever find herself adrift in the world, and Sundosia was using what little time she had to teach the child. It would not be long before she would be a teenger, and even a more shorter time before she was out and on her own.
The girl standing next to Maverick got a puzzled look on her face at his question at first before finally speaking, shyly, "Eris..." She said, standing bravely next to her mother. Eris had been learning to fight, so she felt there was no need to fear this man. Besides, her mother discouraged her from hiding behind her anyways. She always told her that she had to face her fears, since Sundosia would not always be there to protect her from them. From a tender age, Eris was being taught to fend for herself. It was why she was hardly afraid, though still nervous when the man spoke to her.

"It's true, since I was a kid, I've been the way I am now. My body just adapted it to be a natural reaction," he laughed, knowing how strange it sounded, but it was true. Very few could make the claim that they were so set in their perverted ways that it became a natural way for their body to do things. "If there's one thing I am, besides being perverted, I will admit that. However, I am also honest, it's something I believe more people should be, in fact," though he supposed others had their reasons, but he didn't have one himself. So, he always told things how they were, no matter how it seemed or how it made him look. People would either believe him or they wouldn't, but at least he'd be set with himself for not hiding who he was at all.
At the mention of what kind of violence she had seen, Maverick nodded, "Well, that's good at least. If we can lessen how much person to person violence she sees, it should be good. Sadly, we can't quite lessen the person to person violence itself." Scratching his cheek slightly, he shook his head, before turning his attention to the woman once more. Hopefully, she would believe him, but he wouldn't fault her for not doing so, there were a lot of untrustworthy people. Shrugging slightly, "Anywho, if you wanna have her learn to survive, do what my master did to me. Threw me deep into the woods and let me find my own way out." Though, he would feel bad if the woman actually did that to a seven year old, it had taught him a lot about survival.
When the girl answer, he smiled down at her, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Eris. I'm Maverick, would you like to be friends?" Turning to the woman, he smirked, "Might I also know your name?" Figuring it was as good of an opportunity as any to at least learn her name.

Sundosia was still not about to buy it. She did not believe that it was a natural reaction of him. Of course, she still did not like that he was like that, and in front of a child! Even if he had said that he was honest, Sundosia was still not going to buy it. The woman had explained to Maverick what sort of violence her daughter had been exposed to but nodded, saying nothing more on it. The child, once older, would be expected to learn to fight for herself, against other people. Tilting her head at his tip on how to have her learn to survive, she shook her head, "That will come later. For now, I am building a foundation for such a thing. It will have to wait until she is a little older." She said, it was like going to school to learn basic math, and then having to use that math to figure out harder things. That was basically what Sundosia was doing with Eris. She was teaching her what she would need to learn for basic survival, and then, once she felt she was ready, should leave her deep in the woods and make her find her own way out.
Eris looked up to Maverick and smiled a little, giving a nod, "Okay, but I'm not sure if I should trust you." She said and then he had asked for Sundosia's name, "I am Sundosia. Good to meet you, Maverick." She said, but was more inclined to just let Maverick and Eris talk to each other. She was standing right there, so she did not feel he would harm her. Besides, Eris was already on her way to becoming an excellent fighter.

"Alright, just make sure it's at least a teenage year, so that she can have a bit of strength for what is in there," he chuckled, knowing full well that physical strength was just as important for survival. There were a lot of things that just required it, and if you didn't have it you were in trouble. Of course, he had come out of it alive and well, so he had faith that this girl would be able to do the same thing with ease.
When the girl mentioned that she wasn't sure if she should trust him, he winked playfully, before tossing all his weapons about 10 feet away. "There ya go, now there's nothing on me that I can use to hurt ya. Feel better?" he smiled, hoping that she would not think he was an untrustworthy person. She was a cute kid, and he would rather be friends than not.
"What luck I have to meet two beauties with beautiful names? I'd say the goddesses are smilin' on me," he grinned and let out a laugh. Wondering if Eris would get his meaning, and hoping that Sundosia would take his works as the light-hearted meaning that they were. "It's a pleasure to meet you both," he bowed his head, one of the few times he used a gentlemanly gesture.

Sundosia just rolled her eyes at Maverick. She knew very well when her daughter should go out on her own. It was not his daughter, it was her daughter, and she did not want him trying to impose anything upon her. The young girl was nowhere near ready to go out on her own like that just yet, they still had a lot of instructing to do, and Sundosia was going to do just that. It could all wait for due time, for now, Eris was going to be learning to socialize. Sundosia knew that her meeting and talking to other people would let her learn mistakes of socializing and learn not to make them again and to watch what she says, which in turn will help her become more charismatic and be able to get the things she needs or wants in life better.
Eris was surprised at how far he had tossed his weapons. She gazed up at him, her eyes sparkling with interest, "Wow! That's so cool!" She said. She giggled when she mentioned that they were both beautiful, though realized that she had not, in fact, told her name. Eris also knew that her mother may not take the compliment as well, and glanced to the black-haired woman, only to find her still standing there, quietly, with her arms crossed. Calming herself down, the young girl looked up to Maverick as she spoke her name, "Eris is my name." She said before looking back up to her mother.
Sundosia remained quiet, not wanting to give her name, but her daughter had already done so. A smirk crossed her face as he bowed his head to them in the way a gentleman should and spoke how it was a pleasure to meet them. Well, she would probably be seeing about that. "The pleasure is all mine, Maverick, I am Sundosia." She said, finally giving her name. She had thought about dancing around with him before she gave it but it did not seem that he would misuse her name in any way like some possibly could. She did enough of that for herself.

Smirking at the little girl's bit of excitement at him throwing the weapons a good distance away from them. "Nah, that's nothin'. I can really show you some impressive feats if you want, lil' lady," he offered with a playful wink. He and kids for the most part got along well, perhaps it was cause he was a kid at heart himself. She seemed like a cute kid, then again seeing the mom, it wasn't that hard to tell where she got that from. "If it's alright with your mom, later, I can give you some training myself. Though, I've probably got a bit of a different way of doin' things," he chuckled. It would be up to the girl and her mom, but he at least made the offer.
"I must be a lucky man, I managed to meet two beauties out her in the field. Usually there's not many people out here, least not this far from the castle," he chuckled, though he was actually being quite sincere with his words as well. He never expected to meet anyone out this way, it was a nice change of pace for the day. "So, what all do you two have planned for the day?" he was mostly just curious. If they weren't up to a whole lot, then maybe he could offer them something to do at least. Although, with the girl's mom, he wasn't sure if she'd be up for it. Still, always worth trying something as you never know how it'll turn out.

Eris seemed really intrigued by the man when he said he could show her some really neat tricks later. Her eyes sparkled as she looked up to him, "I would like that very much mister Maverick!" She said but then looked to her mom when he mentioned training Eris if it was fine with her. "A different way, huh? How so? What would you train her in?" Sunodsia asked, obviously wanting to know exactly what he would do. It was understandable, she did not want her daughter to become trained in the ways of a thief, or worse, he be a man with darker intentions beneath a mask of kindness. She would not be afraid to put a dagger to his throat should he try anything.
She rolled her blue eyes as he mentioned how lucky he was. Compliments would get no where with her, since it was all just words. Words could be meaningful, or worthless, depending on the situation. In this circumstance, they were nothing more than pebbles on the ground. No, she wanted to see how he acted more than how he spoke. Anyone can talk kindly, but it did not mean they were kind. "We were just training today." She responded keeping it short, "Why do you ask?" She followed up with this second question, showing her suspicions of the man.

Eris seemed enthusiastic enough about it, she seemed to want to learn from him at the very least. Which he thought was rather cute, and would be happy to teach her similar ways. Then Sundosia asked him what methods he would teach, "I'll simply teach her how to become a true warrior. Through words of wisdom, and through combat exercises. This is simply if she should find herself in a situation where words won't work." He was sure not many would come up, but it was best to have her trained as a warrior. As one famous man's words of wisdom said 'Warriors survive in the best of ways'.
He also wasn't the type to be a scoundrel so there was no need to worry about her with him. So he wanted to especially reassure Sundosia, that he had no intentions of teaching her underhanded things. He wasn't that sort of warrior after all, sure, he could be perverted, but it was at least better than being a someone unscrupulous. When she mentioned it was just training for the day, he smirked, and put his hands behind his head. "I was wonderin' if you and Eris would like to go get some food with me in town? Might be fun to just chat a bit," he figured, it was at least an offer, of course, if she preferred they could eat out here too.
He'd done that kind of thing before, but would see which one they preferred themselves, before making any definite plans.
