travel preparations (kotone, merik)

Kotone shook her head and laughed a bit as her laughs are quite. There was nothing but air that came out. She tap her cheek with her thumb then shook her hand. Saying the Nair was a little girl. Then she inch out her thumb and index and moved from her shoulder to her hip like a stash then she put her hand on her chest as she hug his shoulder. Meaning She was his Queen and she should not have to worry about him messing around. Which was true but she only said that because. Well the girl was not the Bug. Heck if it was the bug here then things be different she would have the dagger threw the bug right now if Merik tried something like that on her.

Heck everyone knew the bug or Queen Fairy does that to anyone men or women alike but Kotone was not going to let the bug close to her man again. Not unless she was there ready with a dagger to her throat that is. Kotone listen as Merik said she can go to his tent to wait until they leave. Kotone pat his arm and then touch her lips with her hand like if she was eating. Then pointed at Nair as she cup her hands together as she smiled at him. She just asked if they going to be around for the last meal for the Din fest. It be nice to have their new Kin around the others and join in the laughter and story telling when they each their last good meal before heading home or going their different ways.

Nairore nodded as Merik gave her directions. She was getting more and more eager to move on, to get somewhere private until it was time to leave the camp. Maybe it was the fact that she was among the people she had been told to hate all her life, or perhaps it was because she might've killed loved ones of these people in her lifetime, or even an urge that she shouldn't be there standing but should be killing them. They were only bandits, right? She really didn't know exactly why, but she knew she wanted to get away.

So when Merik was done she prepared to up and leave, but Kotone started with some hand motions. Nairore watched them, but even while paying attention she couldn't make heads or tails of the woman's 'words'. Instead she just cocked an eyebrow and stared until she was done, then shrugged, mostly to herself, and continued on. "I'll wait there until you're ready," she said to Merik as she passed, then glanced back at Kotone. What a strange woman.

Of course there was the problem of finding Merik's tent, but knowing the direction he came from and considering the bustling of the camp, it was fairly safe to assume it was the one with guards nearby and no one inside. At least Nairore hoped so. She really didn't want any further encounters. She was there for training with Merik, not to get to know his people. She fully intended to use everything she learned in battle in the future, most likely against some of these very people. She simply did not have any interest in getting know any of them, let alone the important ones. Leave that up to her father's spies.

Who might even be there, come to think of it. How foolish had she been? If news got back to him that she was in the Gerudo camp, she'd have a hard time coming up with an excuse for why. Rwaht Orin was traveling with them? Laughable at best, he'd see right through it. Best to keep a low profile for the time being and wait until they were all gone. She settled down inside Merik's tent and waited, considering once more what she was doing and why she was doing it. Was it really worth it?

"I doubt we'll be here for the final feast, I don't think Nairore has gotten used to being around Gerudo yet so it'll probably just be easier to leave before we're noticed." Merik replied as Nairore left them alone. "And I've only got vague hints as to my destination; right now it looks like it might be somewhere in Faron Forest. That place has proven to be a maze even when I knew where I was going, so who can say how long we'll be in there or if I'll even find what I'm looking for."

That part was true enough though he knew he would end up at the Fairy Palace eventually to try and find more hints to his prize...no need to bring up that particular part of the trip lest it ruin Kotone's good mood.

"You should go to the feast you'll have fun...and bring Ruma with you too, it's important that she has as much fun as possible while she's out of her lab for once."

[Kotone]

Kotone sighed as the young lady did not seem to want to stick around as it would of been fun. However she understood and trying to fit in with people who hate you does not always work out. Gerudo are pretty much use to that fact most of the time they cover up who they are. It was a sad thing to be a gerudo but a proud thing too trying to rebuild their people up. She nodded to Merik thought the event was still going to be less fun with out him around.

As he said the forest Kotone smiled. Thought she love to travel there one day. However it hold fairy but also old temple that said to house the sword of all swords. There was much history in those woods she love to explore and find out more however it bother Merik. That why she can't go and with this training person he be already having his hands full.

She shook her head and cup her hands together as she pointed to the desert. She twist her finger and pointed to her forehead smiled as her thumb came off her forehead. She said she be heading back to the desert and Ruma with a human male at the fest. Kotone meet the guy as they was doing the Din dance they do every year for the goddess. Odd human does not seem like he can hurt a fly but oddly he was up there in the human ranking.

Another shock for Merik as he watched Kotone's gestures; he hadn't misread her meaning since she had first lost her voice and they were relearning how to communicate but he was dead certain that he had misinterpreted her last message.

"You saw Ruma with a man...? Like a MAN man!?" he was flabbergasted at the prospect of his younger sister finally discovering that men existed.

Well on second thought it was bound to happen eventually and it wasn't as though she wasn't old enough to start looking for a husband. Of course he was so distracted in his own thoughts that he missed most of what Kotone said, only managing to catch the last of it.

"A high ranking Human? Not the Champion, right? Because I'll be damned if I'm going to let that bastard near my sister for ANY reason whatsoever." he growled as he began to feel the first stirrings of anger again.

Kotone smiled at Merik as he started to freak out a bit. It was one thing they knew Ruma was one strange girl and it hard for her to notices a guy period. Kotone nods to him as she tap her head and shrugs as she did not know what rank he was. She only knew he was in the same tent she was. She don't remember much as she was chowing down on food.

She moved her arms from the hip to her shoulders as she pointed to the desert then did a outline if a cave or something. She puff her cheeks and waves her fingers about. Ok basically the guy lives in the desert he let Ruma stay the night in his cave because of a sandstorm hit. However she does not know where he is at. Which is odd since Kotone thought she knew ever part of the desert. It seem he been hiding out for sometime with out getting caught.

She pat Merik back as she smiles as she was going to handle it. He had his training to do and did not need to worry about his sister finding a mate or having a uninvited guest over.

"Hmmm, well if he lives somewhere in the desert he can't be too bad I suppose." Merik replied, his slipping back into nothingness as quickly as it had risen to the fore. It certainly helped that he knew Green didn't live in the desert, much less in a cave. "If he comes around the Fortress make sure that he gets one free night in thanks for sheltering Ruma. Past that if he comes around without Ruma go with the usual plan."

Not that he expected Kotone to go through with capturing and ransoming him, now that she knew Ruma had an interest he would probably return to the Fortress to find a new slave working in his sister's lab.

"Take care of things while I'm away, don't let anyone do anything stupid...and make sure Ruma doesn't get her hands on anything too explosive."

Kotone nodded to him as she smiled. She whistlers as the gerudo women seem to be almost packed up as they was heading out too. Tehre was so many things Kotone wanted to say to Merik however she did not bother with it. Why tell him that Zero mess up and they were now hunted people of the law now. Why tell him she was pregant now. She knew this was better for Merik not to worry so much about their family as it was her job to do that.

She sign to him telling him to train hard and come back stronger. With that she kiss Merik on the cheek and moved away as she headed to pack up her own stuff. The time Merik going to be gone is going to be like hell for the gerudo tribe but she knew she had to keep it under control. She just hope the garden will work out as they be no longer safe to go in to town anymore.

"You know I will, I'll be back as soon as I can." Merik replied as Kotone kissed him on the cheek and departed with the other Gerudo.

He watched her walk away before turning and making his way back to his tent. He stopped a guard as she was moving past and gave her a reassuring smile.

"Double check that my horses are ready to depart." he said simply before continuing on.

Walking into his tent he grabbed his bags and nodded at Nairore to start her moving.

The road was calling to them and who could say where the end of it would find them...
