"This Music..."

The soft sound of harmonized **music** ran through out Brouda's head as he continued his long journey through the ominous forest. His massive body continuously collided with the thick branches coming from the endless wave of trees through out the entire forest. Raw physical strength and sized snapped the branches as the Titan pushed forward. The music suddenly brought his head to a gentle head bob, while a faint smile found its way across the crystal head of Brouda reviling a great amount of canine teeth. All Goron loved music and dance, and Brouda wasn't no exception to this common knowledge.

"Ahhh! This music is so refreshing!!!"

"Heehee..."

"So are you children the cause of this beautiful Music? HAHAHAHA!!!!"

"Heehee..."

As The Crystal King laughed, the whole forest went silent. And when he talked, with his booming Goron voice, the magnificent music ceased and the faint sound of children laughter could be heard. The soft giggles traveled throughout the forest, causing a grand effect of echos making it extremely difficult to pin the location. But after a few moments of silence, the music commenced causing the young Goron to exhale his jolly chuckle, while moving through the low thick branches. This forest was truly something special, even though he was lost, Brouda truly enjoyed every second he remained within it. He knew he was being watched by little curious eyes, but he didn't mind. The Titan had a strong feeling these children were harmless. With heavy steps which caused mini-tremors and a wild bobbing head. Brouda continued forward as the nostalgic music brought his heart joy and peace.

"HAHAHA!!!!"

It was nice to get away from it all. All the noise and hustle and bustle of civilization really was a pain at times. The forrest was the opposite of that, tranquil and calm, minus the occasional predator, but still a nice place to relax. Ryan was no introvert, but neither was he an extrovert. He simply needed some time to himself, away from people and in the peaceful calm of the forrest.

Or at least it would be peaceful and calm if it were not for a Goron striding through the woods and laughing to himself.

Hoping that the Goron simply go on his merry way, Ryan gave the rock-creature a simple nod of hello from the porch of the cabin he had decided to make his vacation to. It wasn't like he was being impolite or anything, he just wanted some time off. That wasn't too much to ask, right?

[♛Brouda]

Prying Eyes watched Brouda as he slowly made his way through the maze of a forest. The endless music added with the joyful laugh of running children made the Goron extremely happy. Normally, when other beings lay eyes on Brouda, they see him as a threat; or a type of beast that needs to be slain, nothing more. Which usually leads the peace loving Goron into a fight for his life; even though he hasn't faced a opponent that made him go over his limitless limit. But there is still plenty to see and learn within this wide grand world, one day, Brouda will face a being much stronger than himself, and secretly, the Titan couldn't wait for this day. Coming to a sudden halt, The Crystal King came to a massive **tree** higher than the normal eye can see, with extremely thick and sturdy bark. While over to his left rested a type of cabin where a mysterious figured rested upon the porch. The being seemed to be polite, he gave Brouda a simple head nod indicating he didn't want any trouble. The young Goron chuckled as he nodded his head in response, it refreshed Brouda to meet someone who didn't make judgement's based off appearance alone.

"Hel---!!!"

Suddenly, five spider type **monsters** jumped from one of the high trunks of the massive tree, and landed all around Brouda jumping up and down with calculated tricky movement. The wave of music also came to a halt, and the soft giggles turned into gasps and fleeing. The Crystal King slowly eyed each creature as he quickly realized he was surrounded, but he gave no sign of emotion. The crystals protruding from his body stood sharp, strong, and unbreakable. His big black eyes danced from left to right as he quickly figured out the jumping patterns from the spider type monsters, but could he count on this prediction? And what of the mysterious being on the porch? Would he help, or watch? Either way, Brouda wanted this little disturbance to end. It scared the children within this sacred place, plus, it stopped the nostalgic music...

So, apparently violence and mockery would find him no matter where he went. The nice Goron who nodded back in a friendly manner and who was kind enough to continue on his way was now being beset by a large gout of monstrous spiders. It was enough to make Ryan crack his teeth in frustration, if he ever allowed himself to lose that much control.

Sighing and moving in side the cabin, Ryan returned with a bow and set of arrows. Lining up a shot on one of the spiders, he called out to the Goron. "I'll cover you, try to join me inside the cabin. More will likely be showing up soon and we don't want to get mobbed." With that, he opened fire on the farthest spider, the one who looked like he was the largest threat to the Goron.

In truth, he could have helped the Goron slaughter all of them with little to no problem, but he really did not want to go through all the trouble. Demon spiders smelled horribly when killed, and they were to dumb to find a way inside the cabin. Let them retreat inside the building for now, and let the spiders wander away in a few minuets time, that was his plan.

[♛Brouda]

Massive black eyes continued to shift from demon to demon. It was obvious these creatures were extremely cunning, quick, and intelligent. The Crystal King smirked slightly as the spider directly behind him attacked behind his left ear; getting the perfect advantage do to this being his blindspot. The spider moved with low jumps, while swiftly moving from left to right and with pure silence. The titan ears twitched slightly as the approaching demon landed directly on top of a twig causing a loud "Snap!". The young Goron instantly turned around, with a mighty crystal fist being formed with his right hand. But in the middle of his well executed spin, a swift arrow shoot forward landing right between the many eyes upon the spiders face. The sheer momentum and shook from the attack knocked it away within the low brush where it died quickly. The Crystal King looked within the direction where the arrow came from and quickly realized the human was on his side; something that normally doesn't happen under situations like this. The mysterious human then spoke a few useful and intelligent words, but his suggestion wouldn't work, nor could it work.

"I appreciate it, Friend. But my size and the small build of that cabin wouldn't and couldn't hold me at all. Plus, I would be a easy picking if I got stuck, HAHAHA!"

The Goron spoke with a lod booming voice causing his massive tone to carry throughout the entire forest. Suddenly, the demon spider directly in front of him charged forward with perfect zig-zagging motion, making it a little difficult to pin-point it's next location. Brouda's eyes kept up with the many legs moving in all directions and he knew some kind of attack was hidden within such odd movements. The third demon insect, slowly positioned itself behind the massive Goron; making sure its large body was low to the ground and wanting for the right time to attack. The spider in front of the Goron jumped forward with razor sharp mandibles shutting and closing. As that one jumped forward, the one being Brouda also went on the attack with the same mandibles quickly opening and closing. These insects wanted the taste of flesh, no matter the cost.

"Intelligence? These monsters are intelligent?"

With a amazing display of raw speed, Brouda quickly extended his powerful Goron arms, and grabbed the frontward spider by it's front legs. Applying a great deal of physical pressure upon the legs of the demon, The Goron swung his body in a full 360 degree turn while using the insect within his grasp as a type of swinging tool. Perfect and well timed contact was made with the other creature directly behind him, causing a great deal of green ooze, and body parts to fly off into the distance. The Titan smiled as he dropped what remained of the first demon; which was nothing more than half a body and a singl emandible hanging from it's mouth. A ruffling sound over head caught the ear of the hulk like Goron, causing Brouda to look upwards. The massive leaves from the magnificent tree overhead danced wildly; as if someone or something was just about to pop out at any moment.

"Friend. I advise you to escape! No need for both of us to stay and fight! I also have a strong feeling more are on the way. HAHAH!"

Suddenly, three more spider demons landed ontop of the cabin from the massive tree overhead and began chewing at the wood with powerful bites and evil sounded grunts. Brouda's eyebrows dropped as he witnessed this, but right before he was even able to think about helping the mysterious human. The last spider latched itself ontop of Brouda's back chewing away at the extremely hard crystal. Small slivers of blue stone flew in many directions as the demon continued to chew. While this happened, two more spiders dropped directly in front of the massive Goron wanting for the perfect moment to strike. It was odd, throughout this entire time, Brouda continued to laugh. Why was this?

Bloody hell, who did he have to kill to get some peace around here? Did he have to go to the ends of the earth just to get some peace and quiet? Maybe City in the Sky should be his next vacation spot, gods knew that place was isolated enough from the rest of the world to not have any any chance of monster infestation.** Whatever, time to break out the big guns on these damned insects. Firing two more arrows at the insects attacking Brouda, he turned at started shooting at the bugs cutting their way in to his cabin.

Driving them off temporarily, he retreated inside his cabin. Within a few minuets he was back, duel-wielding two axes in each hand. IF these stupid insects thought they were going to mess up HIS cabin on HIS vacation, they had another thing coming! Swinging once, twice and three times with each axe, Ryan made short work of the beasts chomping on his wooden home.

The laughter coming from Brouda seemed to become louder with every passing second the demon insect kept itself latched to his crystal back. The young Goron kept a close eye on the creature in front of him, and if his predictions were right; which at this point they were. Yet another spider would be within his blind spot positioning itself fot the ultimate sneak attack. These creatures were the prefect predators; they attack in waves, and what they lack in strength and size they easily make up for with sheer number and cunning tactics.

"HAHAHA!"

With a booming laugh. The Titan quickly reached behind himself with a massive arm movement. The extremely sharp mandibles chipped away a great deal of crystal armor, but a sharp bite only scratched the surface of Brouda's impenetrable defense. Much more power was needed to cause this young Goron any type of damage. With the mighty hand of a god, The Crystal King grabbed the face of the spider latched upon his back and pulled it directly off with a massive display of strength. Sharp claws were also latched into his crystal; giving the demon insect a much better grip and some type of resistance to it being pulled off. But in the end, none of this mattered. It's life was quickly cut short as Brouda ripped it's frantically moving body in two halves with one mighty pull on two opposite legs.

"..."

Brouda had little idea when the other two actually demon insects died. The one towards his front had a mighty arrow stuck right in it's body; most likely piercing the heart upon impact. While the one behind him caught a arrow right between the many eyes on it's face; sharing the same fate as it's companion before it. The Crystal King turned his vision towards the cabin. The grunts for the spider demons seemed to become louder as more and more chunks of wood feel from the roof of the cabin. But the mysterious human seemed like he could handle himself perfectly fine without any help. The three insects ontop of the roof quickly feel victim to the mighty swing of his axes, but something was a little off. As they died, the massive leaves overhead began dancing yet again, and soon, within the blink of an eye. The human found himself surrounded by four more spiders, one of each side. The snapping mandibles added in with the tactical jumping meant this human needed to be on his guard.

"They seem to be endlessly coming for this magnificent tree overhead. Could a nest lay within it's depths?"

The shaking and dancing continued as four more insects jumped down in front of Brouda yet again.The young Goron smiled as the creatures charged in recklessly; not wanting to give another sneak attack another attempt. The Crystal King also began running forward as laughter erupted from his mouth. Suddenly, a massive roar could be heard high above the tree. What kind of creature could roar so loud; loud enough to even make Brouda's eyebrows twitch in anticipation. Whatever it was, it'll join the party soon...

"You here that,Friend!? Sounds like we have a grand battle ahead of us. You can still retreat if you wish it? HAHA!!!"

Yay. Hurray. Joy of Joys.

The smell would never wash out now. He was doomed to smell like spider guts for the rest of his life. Oh well, he always did need to find an excuse to avoid the social scene if the higher rankings of Hylian nobility, now he was forever exempt from them due to the smell. Stay positive Ryan, keep things optimistic, always look for the bright side!

Screw the bright side, he did not want to smell like spider guts for the rest of his life. He would murder every insect he saw out of sheer petty revenge for this, that much was sure! "I'm already covered in spider guts, not much worse that can happen to me." He relied to the Goron's suggestion that he run. Spiders were a pain, but not much more than that. Swinging an axe at one while stomping at another, Ryan tried to outmaneuver the spiders and force them to come at him one at a time. This hopefully would make them much easier to kill. Well, easier than usual.

[♛Brouda]

Mini tremors overtook the very ground which Brouda stood upon at the end of each of his massive steps. The four demon spiders continued their forward charge, and they were fast, extremely fast. The young Goron smiled as the canine teeth escaped his mouth. The first two spiders ran forward about seven meters ahead of the other two, which was a little odd. From what Brouda could already tell from pure observation alone, these creatures liked attacking in waves; completely overrunning the pray or enemy until they can no longer put up a fight. But this was a complete change in tactic and it suddenly put the hulk like Goron on his guard.

"Ahhh! The thrill of battle is a joyous one! HAHAHA!"

Brouda shouted with a thunderous pride-filled voice. The distance between the group of demons and the massive Goron was quickly diminished within a matter of seconds. Suddenly, the Titan jumped forward with his arms extended at his side; a invitation for the two charging insects to hit him with their best shot. Their many eyes caught the odd movement, the shining crystals moving away from the massive brown chest, and the vicious, yet friendly smile. So, without missing a single beat, the two jumping spiders launched themselves forward with snapping mandibles ready to pick away at the crystal armor surrounding a great deal of Brouda's body. With a great "BANG!" the two creatures collide directly into Brouda with their razor sharp lower jaws biting rapidly at the crystal. The Young Goron stood his ground, as the demon spiders also possessed great strength. They didn't only also attempt to bite away at him, they tried to get him on his back; a place no one would want to find themselves in this current situation. The other two spiders continued to watch with graceful jumps. It was pointless to jump in, and try to get the sneak on this Goron. So they had no choice but to wait for the outcome. The Crystal King had no issue holding the two snapping insects back; for his intense Goron training taught him how to become unmovable. But he stilled worried about the mysterious human on the roof. There's a massive power difference between Goron and Human, how would the stranger fair against these beasts?

"HAHAHA! If you say so, friend! Watch yourself up there! These creatures are cunning."

On the roof, the four spiders continued to jump with odd unpredictable movements. Snapping mandibles and low growls could be heard coming from every direction the human faced. The very instant he went for the offensive and swung a powerful swing with the axe. The furthest spider jumped backwards dodging the attack with it's amazing speed. When he stomped his foot, a spider from his blindside would attempt a launching attack upon the humans back. If this attack was successful. The insect would begin to rip and bite at the flesh, while it's companions joined in on the feast. But if the fairly basic sneak attack wasn't successful. The remaining three waited for any type of responses, and when that time came, they would counterattack accordingly.

So far things were going well enough. Smell aside they were making good progress on slowly beating back the Spiders. Sure, every time they took one down two more showed up, but Ryan honestly wasn't having any trouble matching the increasing amounts of numbers, and from the sounds of it neither was his newfound Goron ally.

A slight buzzing at the back of his head alerted him to the presence of a sneak attack. Spinning on his heal Ryan brought his sword down on the spider in mid-leap. Suspended in mid air like that the chances of it dodging or even managing a foothold to block properly were next to impossible, and so Ryan mentally ticked that one off in his head.

Of course, the rumbling that he was hearing were starting to worry him. Giant spider demons? He hoped not! As entertaining as his Goron ally would likely find them, Ryan himself was here for a vacation, he did not want his precious cabin to get trashed.

Well, no more than it was already, at least.
