The Minish Chief did not want to go home just yet. Her family might be worried, her Minish clan might need her for something, but she just wasn't ready yet! But being so close to the Minish Forest had her on edge. Would one of her Elders pop out of nowhere and try to drag her back to her duties? Jamie gulped and shook her head. They couldn't! With her gone, they would have to take care of duties... so Jamie might be free for a little while longer!
Hopefully she wouldn't accidentally wander back into the Minish Forest. Jamie was currently lost. The forest leading to the Ordon Village was so dense and thick. Even though Jamie had lived there her whole life, it was still quite easy to get lost there. There were places she had not yet explored. Her "adventure" in Snowpeak had taken up most of her life... "Hauu au..." Nervous whimpers echoed through the trees. Traveling through unknown wilderness made her so nervous. This place was at least a little familiar, but with the stress of her duties weighing on her shoulder, the slightest crackle of brush would send her running. Her lupine tail was tucked between her legs as she kept her ears open for unusual sounds. "Where is that village... It has to be around here somewhere... ne?"
Jamie's keen ears picked up the sound of animals, and cloth fluttering gently in the wind. Just what was it? The playful pup quickened her pace as her curiosity grew. She had to climb up a hill, but as soon as she reached the top... She found herself coming out of the woods, looking down at a round, fenced in area. There was a large man who was hauling buckets on his shoulders. Large, blue beasts stood lazily about, grazing on the lush grass. Her ears pricked as she scooted low to the ground. Hopefully her bright red and white dress wouldn't stand out among the dark greens of the forest.
With her eyes set on the man, she made her way to level ground, and hid behind some wonderful-smelling straw. Jamie could tell it was fresh~ It took every ounce of her not to roll around in it. That was, until she saw the barn next to her, and heard some interesting noises coming from inside. The smell of the straw came wafting through the large, open windows as well. A jolt of energy rushed through her, so she leaped through the window and into the depths of the dark barn.
Inside, there were even more blue, horned beasts! Just what were they? The skittish creatures, upon seeing her, moved immediately to the other side of their pen. Poor dears, they couldn't get far with that fence in the way. Jamie sensed their discomfort, so she popped up from her comfortable spot in the hay, and held out a hand to them, cooing gently. "It's okie, little dears. Jamie will not hurt you!" A brave younger one popped forward and nuzzled her hand. Adventurous little thing, it was~ Completely overjoyed, Jamie wrapped an arm around it's neck and nuzzled into it. "Oh, you are soooo cute~" Once her little cuddlings were done, Jamie flopped back down into the hay and rolled around. 'Round and 'round she went, not caring if her thick, wild hair picked up any strands of straw. She was having fun, and one could tell simply by the echoing laughter that rang forth from the barn.[/style] |

Light creeks and crackles whisked through the air, though it mixed in with the rest of the forests various noises. Up upon one of the oldest, sturdiest trees in the forest; lay a small boy, stirring from his slumber. Nestled within the branches, Clow had no trouble sleeping this way, among nature. Though he had no issue with beds, the tree tops were a simple, if not lazy alternative. Though sleeping in a tree was sort of what the forest child was trying to get away from.
Tossing his cloak aside, said garment being used as a blanket, Clow let out a loud yawn, creeping to the edge of the branch. He felt the sun embrace him, as it did with all life. He wasn’t sure what time it was, when you’re both an aimless wanderer, and ageless the passage of time can hold such little meaning. Though this wasn’t a fact Clow was proud of. After all he had left the safety of his village to find some meaning. The few years he had spent out in this world had been far more lively then the over half a century he had spent at home, reading every book his people had to offer him for the tenth time.
None the less today was looking rather boring thus far. That was until he heard something. The boys large pointed ears twitched. He knew all the sounds of the forest intimately, so he knew someone was coming by, someone close. “Okay, today’s starting off nice and interesting; I’ll welcome that fact with open arms.” He snickered full heartedly, gathering his things quickly, and leaping to another tree.
It wasn’t hard to follow the stranger from the tree tops. After all she was simply heading out of the forest as it seemed, not a hard route to follow. As he landed outside the forest, a flurry of leaves at his back, he saw what he had obviously been tracking. It was a girl, a woman rather, and a very interesting looking one. It was instantly obvious by her appearance and demeanor that she wasn’t anything average. Especially since she simply leapt right into a barn. This made Clow’s hair stand up on end, though it was already doing a bit of that do to his bedhead.
“Has she never spent a day with humans? They’ll think anything odd looking wants to do them harm.” Clow said looking a bit annoyed, and just sighed a bit, tailing after her. Peaking into the window, he stared at her for a bit, watching the sweetly innocent girl seeming to have the time of her life, before he chirped up in his boy-ish voice “Pppssstt! What do you think you’re doing?” Was all he could think to ask, glaring a bit, though in a concerned manner.

The hair on her neck prickled and her eyes shot wide open. Just like a prairie dog standing on its hind legs to check the surroundings, Jamie popped up and glanced around, panic settling into her mind. "Uh oh..." she whimpered, her ears flattening, like a puppy being scolded.
"I... I was just playing with these... things! I'm terribly sorry! Am I in trouble?" Jamie still could not tell where the voice was coming from since she was looking around so frantically, her thick mane of hair flew every which way. "Please do not be angry with me!" With a soft whimper, she shrank back into the pile of hay, as if she was trying to hide.[/style] |

(I feel a little odd, what with your posting format clashing with mine, yours is so fancy x3)
Clow let out a bit of an eep, not quite getting the reaction he was expecting. In fact, it was so shocking, he practically tumbled into the window, crashing right into the patch of hay, sending straws everywhere. “Oowww…” The Kokiri muttered, rubbing his head softly, also a little frustrated at the tumble, as he was usually far more coordinated.
Of course it was no better when he had learned he had managed to both upset and frighten the girl. He couldn’t help but feel bad when he saw her starting to shrink away into the hay. “H-hey don’t do that, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” He yelped, a little curious how he could scare anyone with his voice. He was then rather annoyed at himself for his own thoughts, managing to injure his pride slightly with his self monologue.
He Sat up, starting to dig through the hay, wanting to mend whatever the heck he did. “I didn’t mean to scare you, I was just worried, humans don’t like when people mess with their things, especially if you’re NOT human. There a fine people, but they kinda scare easy. They might think you want to eat, or curse there goats.” Clow tried to explain himself as best he could, wondering if he was using the right words. He really wasn’t sure what he was meant to do, this being one of the oddest days he’s had in quite some time.

Jamie started to feel terrible. She heard the cry of pain that came from the other being, but she was too afraid of being scolded to move and see if they were okay. She made herself go deeper into the hay, and she tried her best to dodge the baaing creatures. Shreds of light started to hit her skin again as Clow began digging through the hay to find her. He explained that she wasn't in trouble...
Hopefully that information was correct because she immediately popped her head out and was now face to face with the other. Her silver hair was wild and unkempt, though who would have pretty hair after digging around in hay. For being the Minish Chief, Jamie really had no qualms about looking presentable or not. She really didn't mind her appearance! Nevertheless, Jamie smiled brightly and nodded. "It is a-okay! I also did not mean to make you fall and hurt yourself..." Jamie's expression saddened a little, and she bowed her head in apology. Her expression grew even sadder as he explained that humans would think she would eat these things called 'goats'!
Jamie shook her head quite frantically as she rushed to a young one. Before it could even have time to react, Jamie already had her arms wrapped around it. "Oh, no no no! I would never eat one of these things! They are way too adorable!"[/style] |

The panicked Kokiri let out a slight eep, as the girl sprouted out right before him, causing him to fall back in shock. This girl, while quite sweet, and obviously innocent was starting to get on his nerves. If, for no other reason, then the fact that she was making him so frazzled. She was so unusual in her actions, that she had thrown his composure to the wind. Still, there was no use about pining over such things. This didn’t feel the time to be overly serious anyway.
“Don’t uhm… Don’t worry about it, it’s my fault… I’m not quite as fragile as I look” the forest boy blushed, feeling a bit flattered from her concern. She really seemed to care for most creatures, seeming to have a very kind heart. In all honesty, it was a refreshing trait, she was almost kind of cute in her own way, it brought a smile to the boys face.
“Look look, I see that, but not everyone is as observant as me. I suppose its all fine. Just… if a human shows up hide in the hay again okay? You’re not doing anything wrong, the goats certainly don’t mind, but humans can be just a bit crazed, so try not to scare them okay?” He smiled a bit, walking up to the little billy and petting it softly.
Clow too had a affinity for animals. After all he was a forest dweller too; he most likely spent more time with the forest’s wild life then his Kokiri brothers and sisters. Such was his more salutary life, and while short on conversation, the feral beast of the woods made rather pleasant companions, and even better sparring partners. Still, while the goats were cute, Clow was far more interested in the girl, now that she had at least calmed down a smig.

She nodded in agreement to his terms, and kept an ear up to listen for any sounds. "Okie dokie! I just hope nobody comes, then!"
Jamie seemed to relax then. Her shoulders dropped and a light sigh passed through her lips. The little goat seemed to be warming up to her, for instead of freezing up at her touch, it seemed to relax in her arms as she cuddled it. The goat then laid down in the hay, and Jamie followed, nuzzling her cheek against it's belly. "Oh, they are so darn cute!"
Her crimson gaze landed on the Kokiri, and she smiled really big, one of those big, toothy grins where her top canines poked into her lip. "You should come join me! It really is quite comfy!" She patted the spot next to her as an invitation.[/style] |

(Sorry, it's a smig small x3)
Clow was happy that the somewhat odd girl seemed to understand his plight. Hopefully this would keep her out of trouble, she seems sweet enough, but she also seemed like the typed to get chased with pitchforks for reasons she wouldn’t understand. Monster, witch, demon, humans would come up with just about anything. But still they were a good people over all, simply skittish, a bit like these goat actually, it was actually a bit comical when the boy thought about it.
Of course then Clow let out a slight eep. That smile… it made him feel rather nervous. He wasn’t sure quite what to think of it, though it seemed friendly enough, though even that can be unsettling. “O-Oh? How do you mean?” He said, slowly going up to the two, petting the kid softly. He did find them rather cute, though he personally preferred more wild creature, but it was nice, knowing the chance of a scrape was rare, it was a bit relaxing

For a moment, her smile faded into a look of confusion. She wasn't quite sure how to explain this... It was a rather straight forward request, wasn't it? Maybe it was just her, but if someone were to invite her to snuggle with them and a cute animal, she'd nuzzle herself right on in!
...then again, yeah, maybe it was just her. Not everyone had that puppy charm like this wolf minish had.
A reassuring smile replaced her little pursed lips of confusion, and she scooted over just a tad more. "Use it as a pillow! The goatie... Use the baby as a pillow. He does not mind... see?" To demonstrate, Jamie rest her head against it's shoulder and nuzzled into it again. The "goatie" simply bleated softly and rest it's head against the hay. It seemed to be getting used to her already. See, there's nothing scary about Jamie! She's just a big ol' cuddlefluff.[/style] |

The girls confused looks only made Clow more apprehensive. He was really starting to feel shy around this strange, but sweet Minish. He wasn’t quite sure why, perhaps he had gotten use to crowds, but not quite so with more personal one on one interaction. After all, he was a shutin back home, and while his search for adventure had been entertaining, it thus far hadn’t led to any truly close relationships.
Still, she was friendly, as were the goats, everything seemed to be calming down nicely. After all, no one seemed to be coming, the naive wolf shouldn’t have any trouble, and neither should he by extension. And the girl was adorably innocent, and that coming from a Kokiri, even a bookish and old one such as Clow, was a statement that held weight.
But really, the root of all the boys panic was all due to over thinking. It was something he had gotten far to accustom to, perhaps now was the perfect time to relax, and just let things be. The little goat seemed to be at ease, so why not follow suit? Resting a bit, rubbing his head into the fur a bit, he couldn’t help but smile “He is pretty warm.” Clow murmured in a more subdued tone, actually sounding more like the child he appeared to be, stretching his feet out and wiggling his toes.

Her newfound friend seemed to be getting more comfortable around her, for he joined her in relaxing against the little goat. "See! He is comfy too!" Mimicking him, Jamie stretched out and wiggled her bare toes as well. The hay tickled the exposed bottoms of her feet, and she giggled.
As a lull passed between the two, Jamie sighed softly. "Mm, this is nice... It sure beats having to be so formal all of the time..." In her life as the Minish Chief, she had to constantly be formal and very professional. There were times in her adventures where she retained her regal habits, but as time wore on, she began to grow less and less formal when dealing with others. Of course, she'd know when to pick up the habit again, but among friends, she was finally learning how to relax.[/style] |

Clow was still feeling a decent bit shy. Animals he could handle, they were mostly predictable. Clow could usually tell when they were going to nuzzle or bite you. But the wolf girl wasn’t as such. She was harmless enough sure, but he had to admit she was doing a decent job of making him nervous. Still he was more at ease, despite how unpredictable she seemed to be.
Though his pointed ears could not help but perk, and twitch, as she talked about her life. “Formal huh? I guess I could have had that life… I’m an elder, to some degree, well red, and certainly not weak. I guess I could have led my village if I liked… But that wasn’t for me.” He said taking a piece of straw, happily chewing it and letting out a pleased sigh.
“That would confine me far too often to the forest, I want to travel and see things… I’m rather odd as far as my people think…” Clow sighed a little less pleasantly; he still loved his people, most certainly… But to say he formed unbreakable bonds with them would not be honest. Still that’s why he was out in the world, and talking to interesting people such as this girl.
