Truly, he was surrounded by ignorant mongrels. Elohim had to resist the urge to just shoot them all in the face for simply being alive at this point, and then shoot them again for being dead so they stopped existing. It would be unbecoming of him to lash out in such a violent way right off the bat though; as soon as they truly proved their status as mutts, then he would not need to hesitate in ending their miserable lives. Even the newest arrived mongrel, who flat out insulted him, went about things with a logic and understanding these other two lacked. It was saddening that people in this day behaved in such a manner, but such was why the world needed to be cleansed.
"Of course dogs fail to grasp the workings of death, and assume you get some glorious end. I shall simplify your end for all present; you become a Poe, regardless of how you lived your life. Your spirit wanders on this earth until it is dealt with, and you gain the ability to move on or stay in this realm. All of you will die, and become a spirit as those before you, ignorant mongrels," Elohim explained to all of them, so that they would realize just who would be the one governing their afterlife upon their death.
"Sadly though, some mutts lack the intelligence to understand the truth of this world, so trying to explain to them is simply a waste of breath and time," he continued on, giving an obvious glare towards Caramon before moving his gaze back to Nightmare and Merik. He couldn't even think of the king of wenches as a respectable person anymore, because only a rabid dog could flap their gums so much without saying anything meaningful.
"Truly, angering me is only going to make your end that much worse. Whatever power you may wield in life means nothing once you're dead, and then only my kindness will allow you to continue any kind of existence, fools. But, I suppose a rabid dog only knows how to bite the hand that feeds it," Elohim added on, giving a disapproving shake of his head with a shrug, having been focusing on Merik beforehand. Really, out of those that had spoke up here, only Nightmare made the least bit of sense. Admittedly, all three had no idea of how things worked in the long run, but at least he didn't speak in such a way that made it obvious that he was believing lies.

Nightmare raised an eyebrow at Merik's words. He was actually proud of having Ganondorf as an ancestor? Nightmare merely rolled his eyes. It wasn't that he made such a claim, but it was something that Merik himself wasn't really aware of. He had just made that claim in front of other leaders, just how stupid could one get? But that wasn't all, there was Caramon, who was arguing over the pirate gig. Not to mention that he was doing it in a way that had logical fallacies practically dripping from every word that came out of his hybrid mouth. Nightmare only had one response to that as Caramon walked away.
"Oh I'm getting a headache." He rubbed his temples with two of his fingers. Nightmare looked at Merik, motioning back at Caramon, who had called Merik his brother. "Why? It was all he asked the Gerudo King. Following after Caramon, Nightmare looked at Elohim. "Oh no fatty, I refuse to believe someone this stupid could exist. It would destroy all hope for the future of the world." He remarked at the Undertaker as he kept moving.
Quickly, Nightmare found him laying against a rock, with a kid in green in tow. Nightmare did recognize the clothing, but he would save his shock for later! Right now, he had to be smart. "Look, stupid. Pirates are practitioners of piracy. Piracy is literally defined as criminal activity, especially robbery, at sea." Nightmare jabbed his index finger in the palm of his other hand. This was completely ridiculous, how could anyone be so naive on the subject matter?
"So your claims that you are real pirates stopping false pirates directly contradicts your claim of being 'Robin Hood Pirates'. By the actual definition of piracy, you being the real pirates, actually makes you regular pirates. The false pirates are just jackasses calling themselves pirates, you know, like how kids do every Halloween?" He threw his arms up before pointing back at Caramon. "Therefore, you're the bad guy here, not the people you're robbing." Though there was one last point to make. "Unless they are committing criminal activity on sea, in which case, they are pirates. Real pirates."
He crossed his arms. "If such is the case, that makes you vigilantes, not pirates. Vigilantes are not selfless heroes they do take payment."
And with that out of the way, now he could focus on the other guy there. He looked at him for a moment, and an eyebrow quirked yet again. Green clothes, green hat. Oh yes, those were all too familiar to the Emperor. The Ainur kept records of their history, and more than once, did a hero in green show up in the recorded texts to give them a ton of crap, whether the Empire was actually involved with the crisis or not. Nevertheless, to Nightmare that meant either one of two things; either this guy was someone dressing the part, or he was the real deal. Either way, Nightmare's reaction was simple.
He started laughing. He hunched over a bit as he held his gut, a tear forming in his eye. Turning back, he looked at Merik. "Still proud of your ancestors, Merik? Then come here, you'll appreciate this!" He yelled over to the King of the Gerudo. This was just way too good to be true. "I have to know, what's your name?" He looked back at the green clothed man.

Truly, the speed of which people gathered was rather astounding. One moment, she has been alone and at some convoluted form of peace; the next, there were six people in the immediate group, abd she sensed a seventh hanging off to the side. Most were race leaders, she realized; herself, the Gerudo king, the Fairy queen, the Undertaker, and now...
Her heart nearly stopped in her chest.
Her hand automatically went to the hollow of her throat, gloved fingers groping for a ring that was not there. Once noticed, its absence was sorely obvious; her neck felt light, too light to be truly comfortable.
The Dragon Emperor. How was that possible?
Seeing this man -- Nightmare, he was called -- seeing his face left a deep-seated ache in her heart, but just as she always did, she pushed it aside at turned her attention elsewhere. Her personal life could wait.
Sheik blinked at the Gerudo king, her hidden lips pursing slightly. Her voice was soft, but the was no mistaking the conviction in her words as she asked, "Are you truly so proud to be a descendant of a power-hungry tyrant?"
She breathed a quiet sigh and her hands twined together, twisting her fingers over and over; it was a tic of hers, one that had been brought on by and level of anxiety since she was a young girl.
Clearly discomfited by the situation, Sheik took a few steps back, glancing off to the side as she tried to figure out if she could escape and get back to the castle by dark. She doubted if anyone had missed her yet; she had holed herself up in her study to finish mountains of paperwork before taking her leave. Surely most thought that she was still working on it.
A slight tremor shook her body, and she sneezed; it was rather delicate, especially for a "man", although she waved it away with an excuse me that was perhaps a bit deeper than necessary.
After a moment's consideration, she decided to stay just a while longer; she would keep her head down and her mouth closed until she could ask a few questions of this Dragon King.
When said king sauntered over to where she had sensed te sixth person and called out for Merik, though, she followed; her curiosity was a terrible thing, as it always had been.
And when she saw the man in green, she was glad for her dripping bandages, for they covered her slightly gaping mouth.

Titania was helped down to the ground, as Merik seemed to be happy to see her but was locked in a heated discussion with Nightmare and the king of Poes. Truly a summit meeting to behold. However, her eyes turned elsewhere, to a strange sheikah. His hand seemed to look for something missing, eyes showing sorrow. Emotions the fairy queen was indeed familiar with. However, it did leave her wondering. What was he missing? Was it stolen from her? A very interesting quandary indeed.
Turning back to Merik, she flew up to his ear and gave him a hug. "You have fun losing your argument. Nightynight and ghost boy here do have a point." She let go of him and flew over to the attractive svelte young sheikah, putting her feet down next to his.
"What an interesting turn of events. It's now a party. But tell me, what troubles you? Don't try to hide it, your eyes tell a story of sorrow. Call me curious, but it seems someone here is troubling you. It's Merik isn't it? The bastard can't keep it in his pants. Did he steal your girlfriend from you? If so, I can get her back. Though I'm sure it's nothing so fancy." She patted Sheik on his shoulder and smiled. "This is a boring summit meeting. Too much bickering, not enough fun. For that, I blame the poe king. Ghosts always destroy good parties." Titania was completely unaware who she was really talking to, but 3 kings and a queen made this a summit meeting.

Oddly enough I'd realized something before, but I now I'm sure of it. When examining the Skeikah in our midst, "his" voice seems a but too off to be his true voice, as well as the way his body is shaped in those wet bandages, as though something is being compressed or hidden, since "he" seems to be worried that they stay tight so as to not reveal some form of secret. By just the way "he'd" sneezed, it could be told that this person was indeed a woman, by the sudden reaction of apologizing immediately after doing so.
But I suppose I should let the others keep believing I'm just an idiot, and play along that role, otherwise I may seem suspicious to them, and they might not trust me any more than the little they do. I guess it's back to being the optimistic idiot for now...
I turn to the DragKing and smile. I'm sorry, did I do something to bother you?
I'm a Pirate who only robs from people who're money hungry and take what they don't deserve, so I just take it back, is that so wrong? I may be a Pirate, but helping others is what I'm all about. Truthfully, the only reason I even keep some of the money is to send it home to my Family, the Pirates.
I myself, make honest wages, not taking any of the money my crew obtains as my own, and even those under me in both of the forms of employment I go about get paid more than I do.
The first being a Pirate Captain, where I make no money. I distribute most of what we get to people in need of funds, keeping only the smallest amount I believe would not make me suspicious, sending most of what we keep home, and give what's left to my crew for a job well done.
My other place of employment is a secret I keep from even some of my most trusted allies, and only a select few know of it, besides those who've accidentally discovered it. I make the least in comparison to all those working there, but to me, I gain things even greater than treasure, which most Pirates couldn't understand...
So, call me what you will, but I still believe that the word "Pirate" has a deeper meaning to it than it does in any book you can find. To me, "piracy" and "being a Pirate" are similar at best.
Thank you for you're time, and I apologize for giving you so much trouble.
I then turn my attention to the the Hero King. Please excuse my outburst. I was only seeing things at face value, and I'm afraid I've made many poor first impressions today, and I hope you can forgive me for that.
In truth, I don't pity you for being the way you are, but I envy you. Now, I don't want to die, but I do understand that you've been around for a great many years and have seen how this world works from the inside out, so you know much of its hidden darkness, as well as its hidden beauty, so I see that a lonely existence and an immortal body would cause you to think of yourself as superior, as well as you're noble air showing you were, or maybe in better words, are, a descendant of some form of royalty, so of course you were raised as a superior, so you act like one.
I understand that, and now it seems to be that you dislike conflicting yourself with those you see as lesser beings, as it seems that they are trying to look down on you when you just want them to look up.
Most royalty only wants to be acknowledged as such, so I will do so, but not to the point of being inferior.
I believe everyone is on common ground, so I will treat commoner and king alike in the same manner, but also try to show them the utmost respect,
I turn to those present and gesture to each of them as I raise my voice to be sure that each one of them can here me.
which I'm sad to say, I haven't shown any of you since I met you, and I apologize for that. I hope our time here does not end on a sour note, so if you wish to speak to me, I'll be over there playing my guitar.
I turn to the Sheikah and smile.
I'm sorry for all the trouble, and I hope I didn't cause too much of it for you, since you seem rather irritated by my being here, since you've not spoken a word in some time.
Well I'll leave you be then. Have fun talking to your friend, "Mr." Sheik.
I walk to the ridge and play a melody on my guitar that I hadn't played in years, as I lay down and let the music flow through every fiber of my being.

"Great" Link thought to himself.
Just when he thought he had a decent hiding spot, everyone seemed to key in on his position. It also didn't help that two of the groupies actually came over to the rock he was hiding behind. One was the man who called himself, Caramon. He had a nice little introduction of himself and was actually polite. Laying back as if he was going to take a nap, but really was probably sick of being in the group and discussing whatever it was they were. And then the other one came, he didn’t really introduce himself though, but from what Link was able to gather from overhearing the conversations going on, his name was Nightmare. The green clothed wearing man answered Nightmare's question and also introduced himself to Caramon with one simple word.
“Link.”
He was unsure of why he wanted to know his name, but nonetheless he told him. Although, Link did hear quite a lot ever since he started to listen from behind the rock. He learned that the dark skinned male claimed himself as a descendant of the Dark Lord Ganondorf. Link had read stories of how Ganon was defeated by the Hero of Time and how he saved Hyrule. The tales described the Hero of Time to be very courageous and wield a sword that could destroy evil with ease. It also stated he wore green clothes, much to the same ones Link was wearing at that very point in time.
Then it all started to click.
The blonde-haired warrior known as Link looked down at his hands in disbelief, he surely couldn’t be the Hero of Time's descendant. It was to obvious though and everything matched up. Green clothes, check. Ganondorf's descendant, check. Triforce on back of hand, check. The evil diminishing weapon...not check and Princess Zelda...well, not check either. Link looked up from his hands and to the group. Everyone seemed to be here, but where was the Princess and where could this sword be located?
If Link and the descendent of Ganondorf was here, then she had to be here, it was destiny. Maybe she was here, but just in disguise. Link was still a tad confused on the entire situation, so he decided it would be best not to intervene, just yet. The green clothed warrior kept himself calm and collected while staying behind the rock. He would know when to come forward, but right now wasn’t the time.
His thoughts went back to the legendary sword. Truly if he was the Hero of Time's descendant, then he would need to come into possession of this great weapon. The only bad thing was he had no clue where to even start looking or who to even ask for advice, except maybe the Princess.

Merik was seconds away from snapping out at Sheik when Nightmare brought his attention to the Hylian in green and just like the Emperor the Gerudo couldn't help but laugh.
"Well who would have thought that descendants of two supposed enemies would just meet at random. And now we're just a Princess short of a fairly awkward meeting / reunion." he said once he stopped laughing at the absurdity of it before turning from Link back to the Sheikah.
"Have you ever heard the true story of my grandfather or just the Hylian propaganda your masters push out?" he asked sarcastically, already knowing the answer to that question. "The truth is that when Ganondorf went to meet with the King of Hyrule he had a plan that would aid the Hylians and the Gerudo: the Gerudo would have a part of the army to increase it's effectiveness, in return the Hylians would assist in digging out a new branch of the Zoran River to pass through the desert. And in the first day of talks two CHILDREN came in blathering on about some delusion of a future where Hyrule was destroyed by Ganondorf. And did the 'wise' Hylian King stop to consider for a moment that he was listening to two children going on with some insane story of a time travelling hero? No! He immediately declared my grandfather a traitor, ordered his execution, and sent his army out to conquer the desert!!!"
He stopped, breathing heavily, as he forced his rage back down and fought off the urge to go slaughter a bunch of Hylians in retribution for the crimes they had committed against his family and his people. After a few seconds, now reasonably calmer, he spoke again.
"We have a saying among the Gerudo 'unbowed, unbent, unbroken'; we bow before no one, bend to no one's will, and our spirit cannot be broken. Grandfather made a choice that he would bow before the King of Hyrule to help our people and that decision led to decades of war. So who is the true power-hungry tyrant here? The man who had nothing and did his best for his people or the man who had everything and wanted more?"

Ryan had been planning on going fishing this day, as it was one of the more popular sports in Hyrule. However when he came down to the late, he saw to his surprise that there were several people standing there already, apparently having a heated discussion. He was even more surprised when after a few moments he recognized a few of them as being the leaders of their respective organizations or heads of their race. Considering his own position as the Champion of Humanity, he felt obligated to go down and introduce himself, if only to be polite.
Setting down the fishing rod and tackle for later, he walked down to the gathering and waited for a lull in the conversation to introduce himself. AFter a couple of seconds however he realized that there wasn't going to be one, and decided to make the introductions himself, if in a rather pointed matter. "You know, with all the leaders standing about in the same place in a public location, if someone were to try and usurp Hyrule from us it wouldn't take much effort to just chuck a bomb close by and take us all out." He mused loudly enough for all to hear.

Oh dear. She hadn't been expecting such a vehement response from the Gerudo King. Granted, he had stated that he was proud to be Ganondorf's descendent; she should have seen that coming.
She began wringing her hands a little faster now. His version of what happened could be true, but how would she know? She only knew what she had read, and what she had read was the history her ancestors had written down. History was always biased, she decided, and what actually happened depended on what side you belonged to.
Sheik was tempted to say as much, but she didn't want to anger him more. It was pointless, and he seemed the type who would launch an attack for the slightest of insults. So she simply said, "If that is what you think, then we must agree to disagree," and left it at that.
Her cheeks flushed red at the Fairy Queen's words, and she ducked her head into the shelter of her bandages. She wasn't quite so used to such... bawdy language. She wasn't sheltered, really, but everyone was always so formal around her. "It's nothing... like that," she told Titania, averting her gaze to the side. "I was just reminded of someone I used to know."
Sheik's mouth opened slightly again, rather surprised that the hybrid had thought her irritated. It was true, she hadn't spoken, but that was because the sudden arrival of all these race leaders -- which would have shocked her even in her normal guise -- left her floundering slightly. Especially the arrival of this... Nightmare.
It was truly eerie, how much he reminded her of him. It was almost like seeing a ghost.
Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, she turned to the green-clad warrior, rather unsurprised by the revelation of his name. She was the descendent of Zelda, Merik Dragmire of Ganondorf Dragmire, so it only made sense that Link would be the descendent of... well, Link. Still, the coincidence that brought all these people together was rather unnerving.
And, as the newcomer said, it left them open to almost any kind of attack.
Sheik blinked at the man, and honestly, she was hardly shocked when she recognized him; it was yet another race leader, the Champion of Humans.
The only thing that truly surprised her now was that none of them had been killed.

The first reaction to Caramon's words from Nightmare was simple. Hilarious, and elegant, yet also very simple. There was an audible smacking noise as Nightmare rested his head into the palm of his hand. A true facepalm. He let out an audible sigh. This was just completely ridiculous. Why the hell would he be so adamant about something that he had no chance of actually justifying in a logical manner? Then again, logic did not seem to exist with him. "You know what; if your 'career' doesn't kill you, natural selection will. So I'm not going to bother." He spoke in a frustrated, and exasperated tone of voice.
His eye twitched somewhat as Merik went ranting and raving about his grandfather. How the man was a poor, tragic martyr who died for his country against a power hungry tyrant of war. Nightmare breathed deeply for a moment. Whatever Merik had smoked, Nightmare was wondering what it was. Not to mention that undoubtedly the Gerudo would say something to him to keep the flames of war going. He slowly brought his face out of his palm. What followed next, Nightmare said one word that everyone would hear. Immediately after, he swung around, pointing his right index finger at the Gerudo King in an extremely dramatic manner, followed only by one word.
"Your story is crap, Merik." He said quite bluntly. This was going to be fun. "First off, the idea of just hearing the words of two small children is ridiculous. Any leader that did so would have a rebellion on his hands in five seconds. The only reason he would've listened and not have been rebelled against was that those kids had evidence on them. Some very damning evidence to not only be taken seriously, but to justify an entire war." He chuckled, maybe this would get him to lighten up somewhat. "Second of all, Ganon was already willing to bend over backwards, become a vassal, all that jazz. A war would just be a waste of men and resources."
Oh but he wasn't done yet. He was going to rip that story of Merik's apart. "Thirdly, you say the King of Hyrule desired to rule the desert, yet the desert's own ruler wanted out. Face it Merik, the desert sucks and no one would ever want that shithole. And this is coming from someone who lives there." He shrugged. The Emperor smirked back at Merik, having way too much fun with this to be staying in the safe zone. "My point, Merik Dragmire, is that your story is full of shit and so are you." And he finished off with a direct insult to the king. To his face. "Whatcha gonna do about it, punk?" He laughed as he started to walk away, goading the King.
He stopped briefly though, pointing to the new arrival. "Also illogical. One of us would hear the bomb's fuse, as you would have to time that thing unless you were suicide bombing. And before you say 'shoot the bomb with a fire arrow', that would require such ridiculously good marksman ship that it'd be better to shoot at us one by one. No one wanting to not die would even think about making a shot like that." But he figured that while he was here, he might as well get in a few more words about everyone else.
First, he pointed at Link. "You! Feel free to beat up Merik." Followed by Titania. "You! I'm not interested. I know what you do with just about every guy you meet." Then he pointed at Elohim. "Undertaker. I demand that when natural selection kills the dumbass, that you not even bother with a tribute." And lastly, at Sheik. "You! You seem pretty nice. Nice to meet you." He smiled.
And with that done, he made one last cry. "Logicman, awaaaaay!" He shouted as he started to just casually walk away, keeping himself alert, if that was the word, to see if there would be any commotion in the next few seconds.

Titania was put in a very awkward spot very quickly. She did not want to get on Merik's bad side, but she was fully aware of his delusions and how well he stuck to them. Her own opinions were kept to herself so as not to get caught in the middle of a dangerous argument. If Merik and Nightmare went to blows, she did not want to be around for that explosion of power.
Quickly she entered her ballform and took to the sky. Before she departed, she did have some parting words for the group.
"Boys, please try to leave the lake intact. I'd hate to see a crater next time I want to swim." Then she moved to Nightmare, just for one little sentence as he walked off. She whispered it in his ear just to be careful.
"You don't need me to confirm it, but you are right. And I don't do all of them, despite what you may think. I may not have high standards, but I do have them." Then she flew off, hoping that no one died during that encounter. Well, maybe the poe king, he was kind of a dick.

Merik couldn't help but laugh at Nightmare's response, though the Gerudo had been telling the truth there were also a few grains of truth to the known events though few know the real reason why.
Damn fool of a dragon really doesn't know what's hidden out in the desert...which is good, he might try and claim it for himself if he could find it... he thought with a smirk as he began making plans to resume his searches.
"Well then, its been good talking with all of you. I've got some business to attend to back home so I'll be off." he said to no one in particular as he turned and started to walk off before pausing and calling out sardonically. "Oh and Night, if you ever find that evidence that Link and Zelda's ancestors weren't full of shit I'd quite like to see it."

I guess you could say things were getting pretty serious, at least for the moment. Merik had raged about some stuff from the past and this newcomer did have a good point, that all these leaders gathered here together were open for an attack. But seriously, who is gonna come and try to attack all these people? I suppose someone who wanted death.
Link shifted out from behind the rock because there really was no point in trying to hide anymore. Everyone pretty much knew who he was, even before he knew who himself was. In the Hero of Time sense of course. For Link, this was just one big argument for no reason. Why did all these leaders gather here in this spot? What are the chances of that even happening? What is going to be the outcome? These thoughts rushed around the blue-eyed man's cranium.
By now, a few people began to depart from the little social gathering. It appeared that Nightmare was making his exit, but Link wasn't for certain just yet. Merik and the Fairy clearly made their exits though and that was for certain. Only a handful of people remained, which brought Link to his next conclusion. Should he leave too?
The green hat wearing warrior shrugged. He figured he would stay for just a bit longer and see what would unfold in the next few moments.

Link crossed his arms. It didn't seem like anything was going to happen. The green hat wearing man took one more look at everyone that was still standing around. When his eyes met Sheik, they stopped.
Something made him focus on on her in particular. It wasn't how she looked or how she carried herself but, just the presence of her being there. He got this weird vibe from her that he couldn't explain or even begin to know why he got it from her and only her.
Link shrugged it off, maybe they would meet again one day and get to know each other more. With that, he gathered himself and waved farewell to everyone. He turned and started to heading down the path toward Hyrule Castle Town, it was time for some rest.

And just as quickly as they had arrived, the gathering began to disperse. There were only a few left, and Sheik was contemplating just leaving; but then, of course, she still had questions that needed -- or wanted, rather -- answering.
She could barely smother her quiet giggles as Nightmare burst into a rant; truly, he reminded her of Alexander... a bit too much, in fact. Much too much. She would have to speak with this man, she knew, and she would have to do it soon. She wanted closure, and maybe this man could give it to her.
Moments passed where nothing happened; then her eyes met Link's, and a slight shiver ran up her spine. He was like her, she knew; he had a fraction of the Triforce, same as her. He just didn't know it yet.
Link left then, and Sheik was relatively alone; she took a deep breath, her mind made up, and she jogged to catch up with Nightmare. She couldn't keep a slight smile down, but her stomach curled into knots as she tapped him on the shoulder.
"You should visit the Castle sometime soon, Emperor," she said softly. "I'm sure the Princess would like to discuss matters of state."
And then she left, also heading in the direction of Castle Town.
