In the modern world, things such as Onmyouji, Shikigami, Shinigami, Trapped Souls, Psychic's, and Yokai are of but mere myth. But what if it wasn't? What if one day, you woke up to blood thirsty creatures attacking your home? Or your friend being an Onmyouji and saving you from the very Yokai attacking your peaceful abode? And even had a Shikigami counterpart helping them out?
What if this happened to you?
Well. It is real. Oh so very real. Souls of the deceased and Shinigami ferrying them over into the next world, humans with special powers fighting off Yokai for the protection of man kind. Yokai attempting to regain the power the humans have stripped them of and regain their way of life. This is the real world that much of the human race has become ignorant of over the past generations, but recently, things have changed with the tunnels, sealing away Yokai in the underworld, having been broken. Therefore, releasing all of these creatures back into our world ten-fold and the time has come to choose. The war is beginning and the Onmyouji, Shiki's contracted to them, and humans are taking their stand against the Yokai and underworld creatures. However, which one is right? Are the demons really so wrong to want power? Are the humans right to fight to keep their livelihood?
Which side is correct? Which side will win? Which will you choose, when you're stuck Between Two Worlds.
