Rolling was the quickest way for Dagorn to travel across the sloping hill without a doubt, but he wished to look at the scenic landscape so he took the slow mode of walking instead. The hills were a majestic green and there was not a stormy cloud in the sky. Dagorn could not have imagined a better day if he tried. His peaceful sojourn soon interrupted by a cry for help. "HELP! HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME! Whom ever it was they were obviously very distraught and in need of assistance. Not wasting a second Dagorn Broke into a sprint and then turned into a ball, rolling to the source of the screams as fast as he could. The man may not have much time left at all.
Soon Dagorn broke out from his roll to the sight of a man being crushed by a flipped cart. It rested on his lower body. The sight was grizzly indeed and while Dagorn had no medial knowledge, but he knew if he did not act quickly the mans legs would be crushed forever. With a grunt Dagorn lifted the cart with one arm an pulled the man out with the other. While the man was hurt he would die without any help. Dagorn shouted his voice booming over the hills in hope of getting someones attention. "This man needs help! Someone get over here!" The chances of someone hearing him was high seeing as how loud Dagorn was. But the chances of them being able to help was slim. Dagorn gave a silent pray for the man as he waited for help to arrive.

Eloquently the wind danced across the grasslands. It carried with it various things; dirt, leaves, pollen, various birds, and two-inch tall fairies. At least, it carried one particular fairy this glorious day. The sun kissed her skin with such delightful warmth as she allowed the wind to guide her flight. The whimsical fairy danced around tall blades of waving grass without a care in the world. She felt free of any worry. It was such an odd emotion, worrying. These days she never had a reason to. Every day is just another to be enjoyed.
Aeretheryn’s silent joy was rudely interrupted by an earth-trembling bellow for help. Her body straightened and her tiny wings had to flutter fast and furiously against the force of the wind to bring her to a halt. It was a cry for help, that much she was certain, but who it might be was what confused her. The voice had been so powerful. No mere human or even a hylian could have mustered such a shout without the aid of magic. What was calling for help then? Not only did she feel compelled to aid any who requested it, she just had to know!
Excited, the spritely woman took off in the direction the voice had come from. The voice had traveled far before it reached her, so it would take several minutes before her miniature wings would bring her arrival on the scene. When at last she did, she experienced a very brief moment of confusion. She came to witness a man obviously in pain in the arms of a Goron. That was not what was strange, though. The strange part was that she was certain the voice would have had to come from the Goron, rather than the weaker voiced man.
Never-the-less, the man was quite obviously injured and in need of assistance. One glance at the turned over cart made the cause of his wounds quite clear. His legs had suffered a blow that cut his skin slightly and broken bone. With the right bandaging he could survive from it well without magical assistance, but with it he would still have the use of his legs. And so, the Aereth landed on the Goron’s shoulder to look down at the man in his arms. ”Quite the dilemma, I see,” chirped the tiny woman in an oddly cheery tone. As soon as the words passed her lips, she had flown from his shoulder and landed next to the injured man on the ground so that she could adjust herself appropriately. In a hazy glow, her form grew to the size of the average humanoid. Her eyes glittered as her smile did as she looked down at the injured man. “Worry not. Today may be perhaps your luckiest unlucky day!”
She didn’t wait a moment longer to move her hands over the wounds on the man’s legs, focusing her concentration and energy then on healing him as much as she could. She did not expect it to be a difficult fix in the least. She had healed worse before.

Time was running short when in no time at all a person showed herself. She soon assessed the situation and began her assistance of the poor traveler. Dagorn stood in anticipation and amazement as the small woman began to heal the injuries on the pedestrian that Dagorn saved. The woman was odd as Dagorn could not pinpoint her age. She had curved features that would suggest maturity but her face pinned her as no more than a humans 16. She had long blonde hair and judging by her frame Dagorn doubted she could pick up a pickaxe much less swing one.
Despite her apparent lack of age or strength it appeared that she new her healing magic, because soon she had healed the travelers woulds almost completely. She was ether very coragous, used to gore, or just one of the most jubilant people Dagorn has seen. The gore of the scene did not affect her in the slightest. The man thank her for saving his life and got up to his cart which Dagorn had put back to its rightful standing position. Without any doubt the man was still in a hurry to make his delivery and would not allow a near death injury to stop him. Turning to the women Dagorn opened his mouth to speak.
"Thank you for your help! Had you not come That man would have no legs and I would have had to cary him and his heart to Hyrule myself! HAHAHA!" Dagorns thunderous laughter was just as loud, if not louder than the cries for help he shouted earlier."Tell me little one, what is your name? And what could I ever do to repay you for helping save that man?"

Indeed, it was not long at all until the man’s wounds appeared to have healed nearly completely. At least, from the outside it would appear so. It was easy to heal flesh, but healing bone was another matter. Repairing his bone without strapping it to a board and forcing him to stay off of it was a task in its own that would take a great amount of time. More time than the businessman probably wanted to take. His leg was still fractured when he got up to make his way for his cart. Surely he would feel the pain immediately upon standing, but he did not give up.
The small woman giggled not at the man’s pain, but his perseverance. “Surely, you would want to stay off that leg as much as possible,” came her cheery tone in a cool voice. “If you will not let me finish repairing it with magic, at least do not make my efforts in vain by damaging yourself further.”
Aereth had begun to stand when the Goron began thanking her in his booming voice. Even worse, his laugh! The sound roared through her ears with such curiosity it nearly made her lose her balance. At least she had such advantages as wings over mere men. As her body fell backwards, all she had to do was let her wings do the work of correcting her. It was natural and hardly needed thought. Still, she stumbled slightly at the boom of his voice.
Recovering her composure, the fairy smiled cheerfully up at the large speaker. “I am Aeretheryn of Faron,” she cooed sweetly, bowing her head politely – a courtesy she figured not many bestowed upon him. “I need no repayment for doing what is right, but lowering your volume would service me well, friend.”
“Might I have the pleasure of knowing your name as well?”

The tiny one was very friendly and she did not seem scared of Dagorn despite his immense size and at 12 feet tall, and 1,500 pounds Dagorn towered over her. As a matter of fact she instead seemed that she was interested in learning more about him. He had not expected to meet someone so energetic and welcoming. The stranger showed him respect in the form of a bow something that no non Goron had ever done before. Who ever raised this child had taught her manners. Nor did he expect her to be able to cure a man of a crippling injury. Her name was complex and it took Dagorn a second to fully figure it out phonetically. Soon he turned and stuck out a had to shake it as the humans do during greetings.
"I am Dagorn It is a pleasure to meet you, Aeretheryn off Faron. I must again than you for the help, and I still must find someway to repay you for no good deed should go unrewarded. Please do tell what brings you to these parts."

Aereth tilted her head and continued to smile as she waited for a response. As the Goron held his hand out to her, though, her smile waned somewhat. She did not hold prejudice against any of nature’s creatures, but she was very aware of the difference in size and strength here. She stared down at his hand for a moment pondering the possibility that he might squeeze her hand just slightly too tight. It was very possible for him to underestimate his own strength in comparison to her fragility.
Pushing her smile back into the corners of her lips, she held her hand out to take his and to accept the formality of his offer. “I go where the wind takes me, sir,” she replied smoothly. “Though, there is much excitement in this province this time of year to attract one such as myself. People just seem to be naturally happier during festival times.”
“Knowing I have helped is reward enough,” she assured him. “I have no need for formal reward.” The woman's dragonfly-like wings appeared from behind her back just before she fluttered up off the ground a few feet. "Might I ask you the same? What is a Goron doing on these roads?"

Dagorn was very surprised by the small ones bravery at accepting his offer to shake hands. Even mighty hylians and Gerudo take pause when it came to accepting an offer to shake hands from a Goron. Dagorn gently shocker the fairies hand. To the point where it was almost comical. He didn't even grasp her hand just simply cages his hand around hers. Dagorn was aware of how strong he was and that he had to be gentle with the little one. While Dagorn had trained himself to limit his strength to not accidentally hurt visitors but he had never delt with someone so small. She weighed about a hundred times less than him and was a third his size. After the hand shake was completed. Dagorn looked Aerentheyn in the eyes and began to speak.
"The fact that you have no need for a material reward is immaterial. Should you ever need anything From me or my people let me know and I will do whatever is needed. Good deeds are few and far between in these dark times and your's will go un appreciated. As for what I am doing here I am an emissary for the Goron People. It is my goal to meet other races and learn their customs. My people have begun to fade from the world stage despite how much we have to offer. So I seek to include us more in world affairs. Long story short I am out on a quest to do good and make friends."

Massive relief rushed over the fairy as the Goron shook her hand. He was obviously putting a lot of effort into being gentle. Humans and the like were fragile as it was, she was even more so. As filthy as his hands may be, she had to appreciate how careful he was being with her. It said great things about the creature, that was for sure. So, her appreciation took the form of the brightest momentary smile she could conjure. She grinned and giggled lightly as if she was a child being given their favorite toy.
“What an interesting quest you profess,” came a gentle yet obviously curious tone after the closure her grin. “I must say, there is much respect owed to your methods. It seems that other races use violence to gain respect amongst others. It is rather refreshing to hear your strategy differs. What better way to make friends than to help people?”
Aereth glanced back in the direction the traveling salesman had gone. “Surely we have left quite a positive impression on the human race this day. For both of our kind.” Her wings fluttered to a halt, bringing her down onto her feet with a very light thud. Her body folded, bringing her head down in a second bow, lower than before to express her respect. “You have certainly made a friend today, Dagorn the Goron.”
