Ok this was a project that been going on for three weeks. MErik was still away and she been working hard at the fortress. She found an old ruin village that has not seen people in good 30 to 35 years. What was so great about it was the fact there was good stone walls from old homes. Which the Gerudo women took some long time moving those stone away making a wall around the area. Clearing out the stones and looking at the land. Reason why Kotone choose this spot it was once run by the hylian or humans. Either way they tried to make a life out here but like all things either they gotten run out or the desert killed them or heck even the monsters out here.
Kotone could not tell what happen do to the sand cover most things however these people tried to farm here. The sign show it as there was dirt not sand. There were signs of dead plants and good soil to be used here. with those signs the girl had already started up a system to catch water for the plants but also guards to route shift to protect this area. Thought it was already well hidden it needed to say that way. It was a big place but it was going to be something for the Fortress. If this worked then they would not have to worry about raiding towns every week for food.
So far things did look good as it took weeks to get where they were at now but they planted seeds and they already had sports. It was a great thing to see in the desert. Kotone of course was there every three day to make it rain big so the water will store up in the barrels they have. The water then was sued threw out the next three days until Kotone comes again. The Secret Garden was closer to the cliff or edge of the Desert then it was to the Fortress. It was a travel to get here every three days and make sure no one following you.
As Kotone was there for the third day she got in thru a passageway they made to get in to the garden with out going over the tall walls that protect the garden from the sand storms. She smiled to see the sports coming up. She talked to the guard with her hands saying this was great work. Gerudo were not gardener but if they can kept this up they might make garden part of their title if it works. Kotone let out a sigh as she took out her flute as she told the guard to get looks out and have the rain guards ready. She was going to make it rain and need to gather it up. No only that keep an eye out on people they might see the storm.
With things clear Kotone started to play the Song of Storms. Storm clouds started to come and rain started. It was a good rain storm a refreshing to get wet in the desert. However it was a great thing for the gerudo to get water for their plants or garden to be or hope to be. The song was strong and proud even coming out of an old flute. Kotone love playing this song as it was so magical and she knew it was also dangerous due to the effect of it causes.
