I always wondered what the inside of the Castle Dungeon looked like, but I'd never thought I'd see it from behind the bars of one of the cells filling it.
After an unsuccessful negotiation with the "Champion of the People", I ended up here, in this rather accommodating little cell with little to do but play with my wings for these past few weeks.
Luckily, they serve the prisoners rations of food and water so that we don't starve or die of thirst, but still, it's better to be bored than to be dead.
Truthfully, I thought that this place would be much more terrible and cruel from the stories I'd heard about it, but it just seems like a high class prison to me.
I think back on what someone who'd claimed to have broken out of here told me, and I remember that he said that every once in a while the Princess or one of her Sheikah comes down to the Dungeon to check on the inmates.
Truthfully, when I'd heard this, I thought he'd been in the sun a bit too long.
I never thought that the Princess would be such a kind and caring soul, but it seems that what I'd heard was true, since one of the inmates in the cell across from mine told me that today was the day that "a woman comes down to see us", and that "she always visits once a month to see what she can do to make us turn from what we've been and become respectable people again".
I have no idea what this man has been speaking of for these past few days, but I do know that I can hear footsteps coming down the stairs.
Could it be the Princess herself, or the mysterious woman he spoke of?
All I have to do now is wait until this mystery person reveals themselves and walks by Cell XIII, then I can know for sure what's truth, and what's lies.
