Her arms and legs were worn with many scars and cuts marking her long travel, using her healing abilities to keep her up and awake. Her climb was nearly completed, but she knew she would have many more challenges in such a large palace, if the manor was as the book described. Being blind does not help the young lady, either, but for the sake of knowledge and a promise made in the distant past, she would fulfill this cumbersome errand. A rough entrance to this small side-story.
Terkoiz reached the entrance to the most important area of the building. Though the probability of him being in the area at the time seemed extremely low, why not give it a shot? Besides, the girl didn't have much to lose, even death did not have much of a negative consequence. In fact, it had many benefits, provided with the right abilities. Not that she had the intention of killing herself. Terkoiz transformed herself to a rat form, taking note of the guards in the manor. She may not be able to know for sure if there were truly any guards, but why wouldn't there be?
Entering the castle of sand, the very first thing Terkoiz had come across was a wall, or a pillar of some sort, in which she bumped into headfirst. The action was repeated multiple times as she navigated throughout the room, causing the guards of the manor to feel a bit sorry for the small rat. They had a sense of high suspicion upon seeing the chocolate diamond earring on the rat, but they were far to entertained by the animal's constant pain to do anything about it. Terkoiz wasn't very annoyed of the situation, rather, she was apathetic of the whole scene. Until she bumped into something very fleshy, covered with a soft, short coat of fur.

What the minish bumped into was none other than Enkidu, the pet lion of the owner of this manor, who had been comfortably resting until now. Lifting it's head to see what bumped into it's leg, it saw a small rat, of all things. Normally the manor didn't have pest problems, being in the middle of the desert and all, so this occurrence was in itself unusual. Enkidu didn't think much of it though, and slowly stood, a deep growl emitting from his throat as he prepared to pounce on the newly found prey. But then...
"Enkidu! You're above eating such a common sort."
What could be seen as either the rat's savior or executioner arrived. Elohim, currently in his black casual attire (not that it mattered to the blind one), entered the room just in time to see what was going on. His dress shoes clicking on marble stone floors, he walked over to investigate this little rat. Frankly, more than annoyed, he was curious. Just what was a rat doing out here in the middle of the desert, and what kind of nerve did it have to sneak into the home of the Undertaker? A lot of questions came to mind, but he'd address things at his leisure, and if this one was boring enough, he wouldn't even bother keeping it alive.
"You, pest, why do you dare wander in my estate?"
Honestly, if he didn't have good reason to believe this one to be sentient, he would have just let Enkidu kill it. This rat was in a place far from it's own habitat though and it endured the trip here, so it had to either have help or be sentient in it's own right. He remembered those 'minish' beings had the ability to shift into animal form, so there was a good chance this one was one of those types as well. If they did not respond, he would simply kill them and move on with his day. If they did, well he still might kill them if the answer was boring enough. [/size] [Sorry, kinda bleh]

Before the animal could claim it’s pray, the voice of a man interfered. The deep-pitched words caused the small target’s ears to snap upwards, her train of thought lost. Terkoiz froze in place, not even daring to twitch a whisker in the slightest. It was the man she was looking for, the owner of the sand-brick castle at the eerie Haunted Wasteland, Elohim. Though, this doesn’t fully complete the promise, nor her research. In fact, why was he even here at this time? She’d expect him to be rather busy, considering all of his responsibilities. Nevertheless, he was here, and that was all that mattered at the moment. Pointing her nose towards the ceiling, she reverted back to her young human form, appearing quite exhausted. With a quiet yawn, she stretched her arms into the air.
“Oh my, the grand undertaker has dubbed me as a pest…How sha~meful…”
Terkoiz said in a rather misleading, jokative tone, yet keeping her voice rather monotonous. She really was a bit saddened by the impression she made, but quickly shrugged it off, for previous actions cannot be undone. Besides, The probability of her surviving this small encounter was rather low, so for the majority of the remaining time in this building, she’d hope for the best. With a small bow (Since a curtsy would not suit her wardrobe.) and a soft, tired smile, Terkoiz looked up at the man, using his voice as a guide.
“It is a pleasure to be in your presence. You see, I’ve been lost in the desert for quite the while…In hopes of gaining some information. ” [/style][style=background-color: #f7f7f7;float: right; height: 370px; width: 100px; -webkit-border-radius: 0 10 10 0; -webkit-box-shadow: 1px 0px 5px #d4d4d4; padding: 10px; margin-right: -120px; margin-top: -400px; font-family: arial; font-size: 20px; color: #da2328; letter-spacing: -1px; ]notes What you consider "kinda bleh" is better than my average post. = v =
