PERSONALITY,Lorina has become much more shrewd and coy since recovering her memories. Not too much of her has changed, and she still retains her usual kindness and slightly airy ways. She no longer appears to be separate from reality, but can be prone to her own daydreams at times. Honestly, she still believes that her own mind is preferable to reality any day, but she has a more focused and cunning way about her that can unnerve some. She is much like a cat that way, and often enjoys amusing herself over watching the stupidity of others. It amazes her how people can continue to make the same mistakes over and over and yet never learn from them. Lorina is also more prone to twist the truth for her own benefit, and is always cautious in what she says toward others. Yes, she may be more sane, but there will always be a tangible fissure in her mind that cannot be fixed.
She is also more volatile, and has a temper that can be triggered quite easily. Lorina is not sure what sets her off anymore, and the wrong statement or gesture can have her raging like a wet cat. Her Minish side shows more, and she will resort to hisses and low growls. She also is one to hold a grudge, and will not forget transgression against her. She can forgive, but does a cat ever really forget? Much of the time her mood is content and almost playful, and she enjoys being far more mischievous and tricky than she once was. No longer obedient and not as thoughtful toward her elders, she can be more impulsive and will do what she wants because she wants to. Damn the consequences, and what they bring to her in the end.
Lorina also has a penchant for being intuitive and being able to read others quite easily. People are easy to dissect when seen through a broken mind. She is also quite stubborn when she wishes to be, and nearly nothing can sway her from an action once taken. As a result from her childhood trauma, Lorina did have a fear of fire. Recently, her recovered memories have allowed her to move past this fear. She still does not like fire, but she can use it without cringing or going into a panic attack. Honestly, she is still unsure of whether her recovered memories are for the best, but she has gained a much more stable hold of reality as a result.
APPEARANCE,Lorina has a very innocent and meek appearance. Her skin tone is a pale ivory, tempered with a faint dusting of pink across her pale cheeks. Her fragile appearance have many wary of even trying to show too much physical attention toward the girl, fearing that she could become hurt quite easily. Lorina supposes that she could be thought of as pretty, but the unnerving distance in her eyes often deters admirers. Her eyes contain a ocean-like hue, mixed with various shades of dark and light blue mixing together. Lorina finds her eye color her favorite feature of herself, because she shares the color with her older sister, but that was before Angelica had died in the fire. It is also one of her favorite colors, because blue is so open and endless. It is easy to get lost within, being akin to the sky or the sea. With her Minish heritage from her mother, Lorina does have sharp canines and a slight sharpness to her nails, resembling small claws.
Her hair has grown over the years, and the long locks fall to nearly her hips. Shaggy bangs hang in her eyes, and her natural hair color is a dark blond. Lorina intended to dye her hair red, but the color accidentally turned out pink, and so she has kept up with the color. Recently the young woman has hit a growth spurt, and her slight curves has flourished into a more pronounced figure, along with her chest. Her height has improved a few inches, giving her an average height of 5ft 6in. Her style of dress is rather simple, and the young woman prefers airy, light dresses much of the time. Of course, she is sensible when the need arises, and Lorina will trade in her dresses for pants.

WEAPONS,Vorpal Blades: These blades are the only thing small enough for Lorina to wield without her falling flat upon her face. She wields them with a deadly accuracy, but prefers to fight from range. These blades resemble butcher-knives, and are great for a hacking wound should an attack land. Like her sister was given a beautiful weapon by her father, these were made for her small hands. Floral vine patterns are etched onto the handle and along the blade itself.

HISTORY,
Lorina's childhood began as a relatively normal and happy one. Her father was a respected man within the Hylian Knights, and a close friend to the now Captain of the Hylian Knights: Zenethil. Her mother was a cat Minish who had fallen in love with her father, and married him despite the racial differences. Lorina had an older sister that she was very close to, despite the seven year age gap. Her childhood was relatively peaceful, and the young girl had such an active imagination. Her father's friend would often leave his daughter, Nairore, with her mother to watch over when the two men were called away for a mission. Nairore was only a couple years older than Lorina, and she was rather close to the girl that was like a sister-of-sorts. She would make up the most intricate of games, and have dreams of a world outside of Hyrule. One of her creation with the most colorful array of characters and lands. Only her sister, Angelica, shared this dream along with her. Both daughters were rather imaginative, and so close enough to share this wondrous dream of this wondrous place. Lorina never did come up with a name for it, but much of her childhood games and daydreams revolved around her imaginary world. It was a wonderful childhood, even when her beloved sister eventually came to her with whispered confessions of a man that paid her all the wrong attentions.
Lorina did not understand all of what her sister said, but she did know that it worried Angelica greatly. The male was a recruit under her father's tutelage, and had become rather attracted to her older sister. Angelica never lead him on, and rebuffed the disgusting male at every turn. It came to the point that she finally voiced her concerns to her parents and wished for this male to never be invited over for anything again. Lorina had been sleeping peacefully the night everything happened, waking to the sound of muffled screams and harsh grunts from her sister's room down the hall. The young girl had merely been ten as this point, and she was paralyzed with fear over what was happening. Burrowing herself beneath the covers, Lorina tried to tune everything out. Her curiosity soon got the better of her, and she had opened her bedroom door, and the acrid sweet scent of smoke filled her nose. A man was down the hall, shoving a bedroom door key into his pocket, and that was when he saw her. Trembling with fear, Lorina hastily closed and barred her door. It was the man that had stalked her sister constantly! Only the frantic shouts of her parents roused her from her fear, and her mother soon whisked her from her room and the blazing fire that had encompassed her home.
That night was the worst of her memories, and the traumatic nature had her blocking out the man, and pretending those horrible noises she had heard were merely her sister talking in her sleep. The Knights eventually came, and found Lorina huddled before the burning building, muttering to herself that it was all her fault. They found her parents bodies burned, along with her sister's body. It was a confusing matter, because while her parents' bodies had been burned, her sister's remained untouched by the fire. The young girl was whisked to a hospital for her wounds to be treated, and then placed within an orphanage for children of Hylian Knights. In a way, Lorina almost became catatonic. Her eyes always held a glazed demeanor, but she was still capable of going throughout daily life. Her imaginary world became her refuge, and no amount of therapy could bring her from her the nightmare her refuge had become. Her stay at the orphanage was not a nice one much of the time, often ridiculed for becoming mute, and for her hybrid status. At times she would be pinched and kicked at by the other children, but the girl never said a word. Almost as if she were desensitized to pain, and so this continued on for some months.
The news was scandalous, and it was hardly any surprise that Nairore would eventually find out Lorina's home had burned, and she was now an orphan. The young girl hardly even reacted to her presence, trapped within her own mind, reliving the nightmarish night over and over. At times, her silence would break, and she would mutter that it had been all her fault, or she would start screaming and sobbing in hysterics when reality set in. Her friend took care of her whenever she had the chance, and Lorina soon began to react to the kind treatment. Of course, she was never the same, and the once vibrant girl had disappeared. Even when she had been declared well enough to be placed for adoption, her constant nightmares still plagued her. Nairore had brought her back, adopting her into the family, and Zenethil cared for her like a second daughter in honor of his fallen friend. The years were able to numb Lorina to her pain, and she forced herself to forget that night. As if nothing had ever happened, and she even took to called Zenethil 'father' as she grew more attached to her new family. Of course, being cared for by a Hylian Knight did not allow her to remain defenseless as she was.
Honestly, Lorina was not quite that great with a weapon. She had a penchant for daggers, but where Nairore had no talent with magic, she was the exact opposite. Lorina had quite a talent for spells and the like, even for a Hylian. Zenethil must have been happy with this fact, because he began tutoring her in the ways of magic. Her true talent laid with fire, but her sweet demeanor would break the very moment he attempted to teach her. She would either shut down completely, or dissolve into an extreme panic attack in fear of the very notion of producing a flame. Too many horrid memories would resurface, and it was too much for her fragile mind to handle at once. He still has not given up in trying to have her overcome her fear, but Lorina refuses to budge. For now, her life has settled into a sort of normalcy that does well for the young woman. But who can truly say when the line between reality and her fantasy will shatter for good?
EXTRAS,
Lorina is a very talented artist, and enjoys drawing quite a lot. She has a penchant for music, and plays the harp decently enough. Climbing trees is another odd talent of hers, and she loves to escape from chores or her father by hiding away in the highest tree she can find.
