whenever we leave the ground and take to the sky
i've always wonder why we won't need feathers to fly
There was a sense of magic in the air when you attend your very first festival. Like the world felt lighter to touch, and everything around you looked so surreal. That was exactly how Aya felt when she arrived at the scene of the festival. All of the lights that illuminated the stands, the music filling the air with a such sweet sounds, and the children laughing away as they played the night away. The adults were close behind watching with serene contentment. The little redhead's crimson eyes flickered brightly at the grandeur of this event, and how many people attend it. Growing up sheltered in the deepest parts of Sacred Grove deprived the little fire fairy of these marvelous occasions.
Everywhere she looked she carried the expression of a awe-struck child uncertain of what do to, or even where should she go first~ Thinking about it nearly made her dizzy realizing just how much there really was to participating in holiday events. Aya was starting to understand why her twin, Ani, was so eager to make it here as well. When she caught word of Festival of the Gods, her sweet twin was already on the move, and left her to her own devices. She hoped that later on she could meet up with her, and enjoy the festival together as well.
In the mean time, she was quite thrilled to be apart of the activities as well. Following the mold, she got herself a pretty little costume to blend in with the folks around her. A glossy floral kimono fitted her petite frame delicately. Her obi was the color of the night sky, designed with bright flowers and a big bow tied behind her. Her elongated crimson hair was pulled up or at least half of it was. She didn't have enough patience to have her hair pulled up entirely in some fancy eastern style, and walked out half-done. If she did say so herself, it looked pretty good just the way it was.
What to do first~? Decisions, decisions.
