One of the best things about festivals would have to be, hands down, sparklers. It was like having a mini firework show that you could actually hold in your hands! A particular little kitty minish got a hold of herself a small package of sparklers for tonight. The package itself only carried five sparkler sticks. However as soon as she lit one off, she drew attention of little kids wanting to have their own. Her bright magenta eyes glittered with excitement, sharing her sparklers, handing two away for the kids to have. When they scampered off with their sparklers a random thought came to mind~
She didn't realize it until she looked back at the last two sparklers she had. From a distance they reminded her of fireflies. It was a shame, with all of the lights illuminating everything in the festival, the fireflies won't come out this evening. It was to be expected though because they usually like darker areas to give off that soft glow. Sometimes the poor kitty couldn't tell the difference between the fireflies and fairies when they go into their glowing ballform. A small giggle escaped from her lips as she tried to keep her short attention span back on what was important now. Festival!
The little kitty cat girl got all dressed up for the holiday as well. She sported a simple indigo kimono with complimentary blue bubble pattern flowing up from the ends of the fabrics, on the shoulders, and the flowing sleeves. At the rims of her sleeves, there were little fishies to suit her feline theme for the evening. Though what really bothered her though was the fact that the sandals she got with her kimono were so awkward to walk in. She was so used to wearing regular shoes that it was strange to be seen in them~
Her magenta eyes turned her attention back over to the remains of her sparkler she originally lit up. It was beginning to dim down a bit, but the colors were still as pretty as ever. Her bubbly smile pursed her lips. When the last remnants burned out, she tucked away the last of her sparklers, and began scampering about~ There was so much more to see, and things to get herself into!

She wasn't the only one with sparklers. Since he had gotten here, Aether had taken the time to buy quite a lot of sparklers for the festival. He wanted to make sure that he easily had enough to last him for the entire four days. Granted, all the buying had sent him back a bit money wise, but he was certain that it would be worth it in the end! After all, this festival was a once a year thing, and things were supposed to be filled with fun and excitement! Aether wasn't about to let something like that slip out of his hands. Especially if it meant that he could take some time off and just enjoy himself for once.
However, he soon wouldn't be alone. As he wandered throughout the festival, he eventually bumped into someone he did! He had been lost in his thoughts for just a moment, and as a result for doing such a thing, he ended up bumping into someone. He hoped that he didn't cause anything to spill, or that they weren't holding anything that was on fire. The possibility of having set someone on fire was not something that Aether was please to realize, much less think about. He really didn't want to burn someone, especially not on the day of the festival. He figured the best he could do right now was apologize for the intrusion.
As he turned around, the two things he noticed first off were the cat ears, and the indigo kimono. Aether stopped for a moment. "... Ah." He really didn't expect to bump into a cat minish in this festival. He still felt bad though, she seemed like such a sweet girl. And that wasn't just going off of her appearance either. It just felt like there was this heavily radiating aura of pureness, sweetness, and... cuteness? Was he picking up cuteness? He was pretty sure he was, and he was picking up lots of it. To be honest, it was probably too much to be safe in one sitting. Still, it'd be best to apologize. "S-Sorry."

It was a good thing that he bumped into her at that very moment, and not a minute sooner. Otherwise there would have been a fire hazard! A very good thing that she allowed her sparkler to burn out when it did before she started walking. Alas it still didn't change the fact that even she wasn't paying attention to who was coming in her direction, and got bumped into. Her little button nose got moshed against the person as she took a step back afterwards. Sey Sey felt a small sting. "Ouchies~" she whined.
She started rubbing her nose tenderly. The kitty minish looked up to see who bumped into her, and immediately felt slightly intimidated. He was tall! Though that didn't say much... Seyka was shorter than most people. She nearly missed the apology he said to for bumping into her. When it finally dawned on her what he said, she smiled softly, and shook her head. "No no~ I'm sorry," she replied, "I should have been paying attention myself. I have a bad habit of spacing out, and not pay any attention to where I'm going..."
She was babbling. When the kitty got started she tended to get quite loquacious with who she was talking to. What she failed to realize was that by the time she started talking she didn't realize she was probably hindering him from getting back on his way. A sheepish smile crept up on her lips as she scratched the back of her head. "Oh dear!! I'm sorry! I shouldn't keep you from... whatever it was you were doing," she began flailing like a total spazzball.

So it seemed that this girl too, was a motormouth, at least, that was what he could make out from her going on and on and on. Well, at least it was someone that he could at least relate with, as he tended to run his mouth from time to time. This did have its perks, as he didn't mind her going on and on, where others might have poked in for a moment to shut her up. Plus he considered that somewhat impolite, so he figured that he would let her keep blabbering until she managed to catch herself. Plus it gave him some time to think of a response, or at least some way to make it up to her for barging into her earlier.
Then there was the fact that she started flailing, and immediately Aether was overcome with the urge to just hug the girl. He was starting to realize that it was probably not safe to be around this kitty minish, and that she herself probably wasn't safe. Honestly, in this day and age, he had to wonder how such cuteness could actually still be around. He would never admit it, to her especially, but he started to fear for the world, if just a little. Nevertheless, he was able to at least control himself. He probably didn't want her freaking out even more if he hugged her or something like that, it'd just be way too adorable.
Aether raised a hand in protest. He didn't want her thinking that she was causing any problems, really, she wasn't. "It's fine," He stated, trying to ease her concerns somewhat. He really didn't mind her talking, or her flailing. The flailing in itself was actually really adorable. "I tend to talk a lot myself, so I know what it's like. At least soe people are nice enough to just let me finish, rather than cut me off. Though a lot of people cut me off too, now that I think about it..." And just like that, Seyka had now gotten him going, she'd probably have to shut him up too.

Motormouth had an unpleasant ring to it. Personally, the term loquacious had a far more euphonious sound to it when deemed a talkative type. In the end, it only served as a form of common ground she shared already with the guy she stumbled into. There was a side of her in the back of her mind telling the cat girl that she'd probably just skip straight to the point, and stop dilly-dallying around with him. It was already impolite of her to be stalling him from... whatever it is he was doing.
Then again what the heck was he doing in the first place? Not that it mattered. Her kitty cat ears perked up as he held up his hand, and started to ease her worries. What a relief! Her tail instantly began swaying softly, the white tip at the end of her dark tail appeared like a beacon signal, as she expressed her instant joy. A bubbly smile graced her features already taken by the charm the boy carried.
She held up her hand before he could finish, "I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to interrupt you, but I think we should start from the beginning~ I never got your name. My name's Seyka, but you can call me Sey Sey. What's yours?"
Now that she thought about it, he didn't look like he was with someone tonight. Someone as kind as him should with a date or a group of friends. Then again, she had to keep herself from giggling at the thought he might have drove them insane with his nonstop talking. Seyka would probably have done the same thing too if she came with friends. "Are you by yourself at the festival?" she asked innocently.
Stranger danger? Didn't exist with this cute little kitten! As far as she was concerned, she believed she made a new friend tonight. Might as well be grateful for the luck she had with her at the moment.
