Festivals are for fun -open-

[Jin Reno]

The day seemed to just begin as already large tents, stages, and several other places were set up for people to enjoy the day. Since it started with Din's Day, most people wore clothes with varying shades of red for the Goddess. Spicy foods were being sold left and right, and it seemed that today several of the different item venders had weapons, armor, and other warrior items. All for the Goddess of Power.

Jin was no different, his usually green and tan clothes replaced with oranges, soft reds, and a few licks of yellow. While people danced, ate foods from different stands, and enjoyed the atmosphere, Jin was playing with some of the children of the town. More often then once, when their parents weren't looking, Jin would throw one of the kids high into the air before catching them gently and sending them along.

Needless to say, this was a little too popular for some of the more adventurous kids, and Jin had his hands full, getting a little tired of throwing kid after kid high into the air. But they were having fun, right? Thats what mattered in the end, right?

When it seemed like he could take a well deserved break, Jin retreated off to the side, sitting down at a table that had been set up and relaxing. It was even one of those days in which the only shield he wore, was the one on his back.

A day of peace, fun and food. Jin could get used to this.

[Kotone]

"Ahh we going to miss Merik's first fight" a Group of Gerudo women was coming down the festival street. They all seem to be wearing their best Gerudo outfits. Kotone was with them as they was heading to the small stage area to do a Gerudo Dance for Din. It was Called the Desert Flower but what most people call belly dancing it with Gerudo do to say thanks to Din the goddess. "Oh shush up! Well want to see him win but we got to do this first" The other lady said as Kotone just smiled and laugh with no sound coming out.

"Should you be resting up for your match?" One of the ladies asked Kotone as she shook her head. She gesture saying it warm her up for the battle then anything else. The girl laughed and agree with her was they headed to the small stage to dance.

[Jin Reno]

Jin would have been content to simply sit off to the side, but as a group of Gerudo moved past him, he couldn't help but hear what they were saying. For some reason, they were going to miss the match of the Gerudo King, but the more he thought about it, he figured that there was a reason they were going to miss it.

He went over things that would be happening soon, and realized that the gerudo who had just passed him were heading over to their show in the festival. Getting to his feet, Jin jogged over to the group and followed after them, smiling. He wanted to see the show, it seemed like it would be a very fun thing to enjoy.

"Hello! Are you all heading to the stage?" Jin asked, hands behind his back as he walked along with them.

[Kotone]

Teh girls stop as Kotone kept walking as they turn to Jin. They giggle and laughed. "Of course we are~!" One girl said as another step up. "Are you going to watch us?" The other asked as they were so flirting with the guy. This was a great time for them to hang out with men and not get in trouble with it. As normally Kotone be down their throat for hanging out with a male if they are not with or working with their kind.

Before they knew it there was a whisper as Kotone was ahead of them trying to get their butts moving. They only had the stage for so long before the next people came on and put on a act of their own or music band or whatever took the spot. The only male Kotone cared about was the male that was fighting right now.

[Jin Reno]

"I don't see why not. I see that Ruma isn't along with you though." Jin said, smiling at them with a shrug. "But she is probably busy on some sort of airship thing." He added, rubbing his chin for a moment before.

"Anyway, yeah, I figure it'd be interesting to watch you all dance!" He said, getting back on topic.

[Kotone]

Kotone blinks as she heard her sister name as she came charging right at the guy. The girl looked and quickly hold Kotone back from him. As that was a subject you just don't bring up like that. As first that was Gerudo top secret info and two it was about her sister. "You better start explaining before Kotone rip you a new one" One of the gerudo women said. The gerudo women nodded to their women words. "Kotone is Ruma's sister" The other lady lightly said not giving out to much info about this.

[Jin Reno]

Jin didn't move when Kotone rushed at him for the main reason that he didn't think that she was going to rush at him like that.

"Well, she was out in the desert before a sandstorm hit, followed me to my house, and I offered her shelter till the storm passed. I showed her the library I had, and one of the books I had was filled with Oocca tech, and she found some information about airships and spoke about it." Jin said, rubbing his head before added.

"I gave her some dried food, we talked a bit, I napped and she left. It was just a coincidence really." He shrugged then smiled at Kotone. "So you are Ruma's sister, which makes you a Dragmire too then. Hello, I am Jin Reno, Human Warden."

[Kotone]

Kotone blinks as she sighed a the Gerudo women let to go. It seem Ruma found a book on airship and talked about it not their own plans on making one. Even more so he helped his sister out when there was a sand storm. She rub her chest and nodded to him as she sighed and rub the back of her head. She knew the girl were going to translate for her so she can talk to this man.

"She say sorry she miss understood your words" Gerudo women said as the other ladies seem to smile at Kotone mistake but it happens. Kotone tap her thumb on her chin cross her fingers and tap the middle of her forehead. She knuckle together both her hands and pointed to the battle area where the fights are being held at. She pointed to the dance platform showing where the dance is post to be at. "She said Ruma is going to watch Merik and the rest of us are doing our Dance for Din. Ruma not much of a dancer" The lady said again as Kotone pushed her in the shoulder as they laughed. The Gerudo female added the Ruma can't dance part.

Ruma was not far away. At a distance she spotted the field of red and knew it could only be the hair of Gerudo women. Who she did not she at a distance was Jin, whom she was exciting and a bit nervous to see again.

She didn't hear the line about Ruma not being a good dancer, though it was true. However she quickly hurried over to her kin, and upon getting there noticed and turned a bit red in the face, masked ever so slightly by the angle of her helmet, though it was quite noticeable.

"Oh, hi Jin." She said with a small wave, a nervous smile upon her face. "I guess you met my sister Kotone." She turned to face Kotone. "Shouldn't you be at the arena by now? The tournament is starting soon, isn't it?" Admittedly she was going there, but got lost again and then distracted by the other Gerudo. "There was a bit of an accident earlier, have you seen Merik around, or is he at the arena already? It's kind of important and stuff." She wasn't entirely sure how to proceed with the information. Really important stuff only came to her if it was for the purposes of building or something else that required her mind. This was political, and she had no idea how to proceed.

[Jin Reno]

"Oh? Well I am sorry that there was any reason to misunderstand my words then." Jin said, giving Kotone a small bow at the waist before he watched what he could only understand as her speaking in some sort of sign language that the other Gerudo's understood. He stood and waited for her to finish with a smile on his face, not noticing the approaching Ruma whatsoever.

"Oh she isn't? Well that happens I suppose. I think that your dance will be pretty fun to watch, and it'll be very nice to I am sure." Jin added with a smile, walking a bit with them, since they did have to get to the stage. It was when Ruma met up with the group and noticed him that Jin noticed her. He gave her a small wave and a smile. "Hiya Ruma! I met up with these lovely Gerudo after hearing mention of a dance." He said to her.

However, when she mentioned an accident, he looked at her with a bit more of a serious face. "What happened, maybe I can help?" Jin asked, hoping that this didn't ruin the festival for everyone.

[Kotone]

Kotone was on the way back to the stage as they had to get back there. However she was glad Jin did not take her words to heart to much. Kotone paused to see Ruma coming up as she seem to be a little fluster in the face. Of course looking at Jin she knew right away why she was like that. Kotone started to sign right away as one of the girls translated for her so Jin can hear in on it too. "No My match starts in a hour I'm fine. Merik on the other hand is starting his match or finishing it off. Since we all know how great of a fighter he is" Kotone kind of glare at the gerudo women as she was really putting words in her mouth however it still came out ok.

"What going on?"

Ruma nervous demeanor switched from Kotone to Jin, back and forth. She wasn't sure how important it was to make sure no one else heard this. It was already public, but perhaps it wasn't widely known, or would be kept under wraps. She twitched nervously.

"Jin, I'm sorry, but would you excuse. It's a personal issue." She moved off to the side with Kotone and the other Gerudo. Keeping her voice down, she made sure no one else was around before speaking.

"That one pirate, Caramon Zero. He's been arrested by the guard. In the process, he revealed that Merik is the head of the pirates. So now the guard knows of Merik's other identity. It was made clear by Emperor Darklight. I get the feeling they might try to start doing a mass arrest." She had probably never been this uneasy since her mother died when she was 10. It was a really troubling moment for her, since it was a matter she couldn't understand.

[Jin Reno]

He stood and rubbed his head as Ruma walked away with the other Gerudo, unsure about what was going on. He wanted to help, honest, but Jin had a feeling that there was something big happening. Something that they might not want to share with him, and so he stood back and waited.

He wanted to talk with the Gerudo some more, finding them to be, well, a very nice group of individuals. Granted, Kotone seemed like she wanted to beat his face in at first, but it was only because of a bit of a mistake. It was resolved after all. But now he watched, and he waited, and he hoped he could help.

[Kotone]

Kotone blinks as she heard the news and ranted on her hands on how Zero was an idiot and so on. Of course the Gerudo women did not translate this no way they was going to say what Kotone was expressing. She knew that Zero needed to be killed but Merik and his trusting that dumb man. Even more so the dragon ratted them out what was that guy thinking? Was he planning to start a war so soon?

Kotone took a long deep breathe as she put her hand on her sister shoulder and nods to her. She then tap her wrist the pointed to the desert or where home was. It seem it was time to head home but they can't tell Merik. If they did his plans on going to get stronger will be stop even more so the Gerudo have to pretend they did not hear the news and protect their lands still. She sign to Ruma to keep this away from Merik for now as they did not need to worry about them as he goes on his travels to get stronger. Plus they won't arrest him at the fest due to the agreement that was set up before head for this event.
