She loved the others as well; the Hylians, the Sheikah, the Gerudo, the Goron. And the Ainur, of course -- she was one of them. But the humans... they struck a special chord with her.
Maybe it was because they were so easily manipulated.
Strolling about like she owned the place was natural for Aradia; given the ease with which she made people obey her every whim, it seemed only fitting that she would be the one to rule the world. It would be an amusing profession if nothing else, she decided; she could make or break this pitiful world and her beloved peoples, create a heaven or a hell on earth.
Amusing, indeed.
All this was milling in the reaper's mind as she meandered from bar to bar, from store to store. Eventually, though, she paused, a slight furrow creasing her brow. She had a problem. A serious problem.
She was bored.
And so she stood there, a still figure in the midst of a flowing stream of people, at an utter loss of what she could do.[/style] |

The time ticked on, left went on, everyone kept moving. What if they all froze in time, would they know they were frozen? Would it be possible if someone lived in forward motion, and everyone was stuck in pure frozen moments? Pausing, he checked the streets once more. No one would take him seriously anymore, and they were even intimidated by his appearance. Though, he took this to his advantage for a change, he wanted to change his image to them, if he was said to be scary how could he deceive them anymore?
"All of Hyrule! Come listen to my tale!" he said, as he raised his hands in the air gracefully. Faden was a good actor, and it showed here. There was nothing more to do, and he needed rupee's at this point. What else was there to do? Hyrule was a land filled with opportunity and money, he was going to take advantage of both here. "I'm Faden, the Sheikah. Does this strike fear in your hearts? Us Sheikah were chosen by Her Grace! And you still fear us?" he paused, as he swept his arms around. His voice was booming, echoing from store to store as he noticed he was actually gaining spectators. "I have been stuck in Hyrule, and now am stuck here doing tricks for petty change. This is all I have to do, since my family died! You still fear me?" he said, playing the guilt trip. It was a good deceptive tactic, those with guilt in their hearts would now come forth to hear him out.
There was a small crowd now, but this is the crucial moment he needed to take the most advantage of. "So, I will allow you to see my power as a Sheikah! Though this is my gift to you, and I hope in return you may be able to help me as well!" his arms retreated back to his side, as his red eyes peered through the small crowd that semi-circled his small area off to the side of the shops.
Looking up at the sky, he noticed the sun began to set on the small horizon. Was this what he was pushed to doing? Tricks in a marketplace for small change? Just as he said, it actually did get to him that he had to do this to get his money for food and living. Taking the thoughts from his mind, his crimson eyes darted toward his bag. Before he could lose their attention, his shadow began to emit a dark smoke. Then suddenly a tendril slipped from it's endless abyss, which then reached for his bag. It handed it to him. Faden smiled, as he heard some chatter begin to emit from the crowd.
Another opportunity was opening up, and a smirk spread across his face, which he hid easily by slowly turning it into a soft smile. Before they could even accept the first tendril, two more came from his shadow. Then began to heard toward the crowd. They backed up instinctively, but they slowly turned themselves into small pouch-like tendrils. Which indicated to support Faden by placing their money into them.
"I command the shadows. I'm Faden, Sheikah, and Angel of Shadows." he said, as he didn't note that the last name was self proclaimed. Though if he self proclaimed it enough, it might turn into an actual alias.
Though not to just end it there, suddenly three more long tendrils flew straight out from behind him. They stayed connected to his shadow, but began to slowly intertwine eachother. Then suddenly began to move in a rhythmical motion. It was quite appealing to the eyes, even enough for a larger crowd to slowly begin to be created. And the new crowd, and old crowd began to put some of their money into his outreached tendrils.
Just as planned.
[/color] Many moments passed with this, and his collection ended as the sun actually stopped illuminating the sky. It was now completely set, and it would get much darker within the hour. Though the crowd dispersed, and Faden stuffed his earnings in his bag, and slowly moved the hood from his head, letting it fall behind him on his back. He didn't wear his mask as he had noticed no one wanted to listen to a man hiding his face. Though his hood did give him a mysterious atmosphere, and it did seem to help. So at least he could wear that. Every once in awhile his brown hair needed to breath. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]
